After too many years at one company, closure forced me to find an alternative role. Within a week of contacting Michael Page, Marnie Soor had found me a short term 6 month interim role, slightly outside my comfort zone, but a nice challenge and she successfully obtained the pay rate I was looking for. That contract has now been extended a 3rd time and my tenure will now extend to over 2 years at least. In this uncertain world, knowing Michael Page are there if I was to need another role in the future is comforting.

Absolutely shameful. Multiple interviews, was told to grab a coffee and they’d call me back in in about 30 mins. After 2 hours of waiting I left and went home. Didn’t even have the courtesy to call me at the end of the day. Tried calling the office to find out what happened and they ignore all the calls. Shambolic way to treat people. I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole and certainly wouldn’t trust them to recruit on behalf of an organisation.

Worked for Michael Page for over a year in multiple contract extensions. Always had to chase for any info, when I was coming up to contract end there was never any contact to see if I wanted to stay or move on. I accepted a permanent role and on giving my notice, there was no acknowledgment for even receiving it from the consultant, no thank you, nothing. I wouldn’t recommend to any Interim’s there are much better Consultants and companies out there

Received a very quick call back shortly after applying for a vacancy advertised through Michael Page Recruitment.

I dealt with both Rebecca and Vicki throughout my application and interview process. They were both ready at hand to deal with any query I had and tried there best to arrange interviews etc around my current circumstance. Both fantastic recruitment consultants and appreciate all the help they have given me.

No idea who this Michael Page Recruitment is but they keep emailing me.

Sounds like they have gathered my details by scraping my Linkedin profile. I've never asked for this service and certainly didn't give this company my consent.

If I want to remove my profile I have to click on a link to edit my profile. Surely this kind of practice is against all data protection policies despite us having left the EU.

How do I see what data they hold and which 3rd parties my data is shared with?

Seriously overdue a fine or at least an investigation from the ICO.

I have nothing but great things to say about Michael Page. Natalie Pallin was excellent at every step of the way.

Looking for a new role can be a soul destroying journey. So many "supposed" opportunities that are advertising gimmicks. So many that are there to amass applicants. The key is to link up with the right contact within an agency, regardless of the agency. Honesty is what you are really looking for.
My contact in MP, provides that service, it is what it is and thank you for that.
