Founded in 2013, Merrion Gold offers our clients the ability to buy and sell investment grade gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Merrion Gold operates out of the same office as Merrion Vaults, Ireland's leading Safe Deposit Box company. This offers our clients a private and secure way of storing their precious metals and other valuables. Safe Deposit Boxes can be rented from €250 per year, with discounts available for long-term rentals. Merrion Gold and Merrion Vaults form part of The Vaults Group. With eleven Safe Deposit Box facilities across Ireland, the UK and Spain. The Vaults Group is Europe's largest independent Safe Deposit Box company. More branches are due to open during 2024 as the group continues to expand. Our first Spanish office based in Barcelona officially opened earlier this year. As well as offering storage solutions, our clients have the ability to buy and sell investment grade precious metal bars and coins at highly competitive prices at each of our locations.

The best in Dublin
The best in Dublin. 3.5% fee not the cheapest, but worth it for the highly professional and efficient service. They usually transfer funds in up to 10 days, but they sped this up for me upon my request. I sold gold to them on Monday and the money was in my account by Friday. I really appreciated that.

Expensive package charge
I was disappointed as was originally offered £1349.00 but after arriving was offered £1189.00 because the packaging of the 10gram bar was slightly creased. I felt that £160 euros was abit high. Otherwise staff were polite and recieved payment into my account in 4 working days

Any offer we make to purchase precious metals from members of the public is subject to the products and the packaging of the products being in mint or 'as new' condition. Unfortunately we can only offer reduced prices to customers if the product or packaging is in anyway scratched, damaged or showing signs of wear and tear. We would like to apologise for not making this clearer when we made our initial indicative offer over the phone.
We always encourage our customers to store their metals in a Safe Deposit Box or similarly secure environment to prevent any damage or wear and tear to precious metals and the packaging.
