Finally jumped in to Dr Gabor Mate's Masterclass on Trauma -'The H.E.A.L' Method. Really interesting so far.

I was very excited to purchase this masterclass with Gabor Mate and all the masters who wrote modern psychology and gaining understanding of ourselves through it. I had recently been 'fired by the company where my therapist worked.' I was reeling because I did nothing wrong but lost the best therapist I had to date.

I decided that with the background of these masters and my continuous trauma-filled life, I should be able to get through what I didn't yet know about myself with this program.

Due to time constraints, I chose to enroll in Gabor Mate's son's coaching session first-- with Daniel Mate coaching.

That coaching session turned me off to the entire program. I was first to raise my hand with a question. I was told to consider my response 'a trauma response' "in a very dismissive way without further conversation." I was truly baffled but listened to the next gentlemen describe his situation and 'pain.'

The gentleman described that he was truly suicidal and Daniel spent a lot of time with him ... as he should have. I still question why I was dismissed so soon.

I really didn't care what else Mentorshow had to offer after that. I wasted $399 and a lot of hope and tears on this program. I feel like Daniel Mate as a 'mental chiropractor' should be eliminated from the program altogether. His name is catchy because he is the son of Gabor, not because he is a great component of the Mentorshow/masterclass in my opinion.

Mentorshow was supposed to call me this week to prevent my review. I will continue to post reviews and update this one as I need to or care to with details about my experience if I am not at least refunded the $399 I wasted on this program.

I have since completed my journey without using a bit of Mentorshow ... it truly is a matter of becoming curious about yourself and things and finding the way that works for you. In my case it did not involve a human therapist to complete -- only AI to answer the rest of the questions I had about myself and my life of 67 years.

Save yourself money.... skip Mentorshow. Look at Daniel Mate's bio -- do you think he should be part of Mentorshow's class featuring the greats? What other 'showboating' type ingredients are used in this $399 class that I purchased in the nick of time because the price was increasing to $1,000????

I am not quite finished with the first week of the trauma program and it has been absolutely incredible!! So much compassion pours out of Dr. Mate as he teaches us. It's like he is embracing each one of us as he teaches. So much love there. The whole team is amazing and they go deep right from the start in a simple beautiful way. Their passion for truly wanting us healed. The exercises transform everything in me each time I do one. And I find myself naturally doing them throughout my days and nights. It's really amazing! Cycles and patterns are being broken each time and with repetition I know it will continue to bring greater freedom. It's true what they say, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." I signed up for the heal program and I can't wait to get started. I am passionate to find greater freedom and healing in my life. God connected me to this team and these programs. It's a gift! Thank you!

Faites attention à la tacite reconduction de cet abonnement! Vous êtes prélevés sans être suffisamment avertis en amont alors soyez vigilants.
Après échange de mail le service commercial (Carla) a su répondre favorablement à ma demande de remboursement et je l’en remercie.
Je regrette cependant le manque de visibilité du mail nous prévenant une seule fois 6 semaines avant le prélèvement et sans objet clair dans le mail.

Last year I enrolled in the Gabor Mate's Masterclass and found it helpful.
Unfortunately MentorShow took my payment twice, which I discovered after checking my account. They were apologetic and helpful and returned the second amount. This year an automatic payment of $598 was taken from my account, for a yearly subscription which I did not know I had agreed to. They said an email reminder was sent, but I had not received it. These terms and conditions that companies use so often, are so unscrupulous. I have received a full refund now, finally, which they were very reluctant to provide. So now,consequently I am not a fan at all.

I paid for what I believed was a one-off service. At no point did I clearly understand that this was a recurring subscription.

I was later charged $598 in subscription fees without knowingly agreeing to ongoing billing. I did not sign a contract or knowingly consent to a subscription.
I contacted the company and was told a refund would be provided if I closed my PayPal case. After doing so, no refund was issued.

I raised this with PayPal, who ultimately sided with the seller.

I am now seeking a full refund of these charges. Based on my experience, I would advise others to be very careful and to fully check the billing terms before making any payment.

Excellent support from the team. They were very understanding and responded quickly to my issue.
I think it would help if there was more clarity around annual subscriptions but I appreciate that the team took on board my comments and resolved my issue.

I been taking the master classes I am learning and applying the knowledge. The way the classes are presented are easy to understand. I have the opportunity to learn from great Masters Teachers, and this is priceless for what they charge for the subscription. A great opportunity of lifetime to be in the presence and learn from these great beings. I highly recommended. About costumer service they help me when i need it and also received a phone call for them.

Today I paid for an annual subscription of the Mentor show as I had watched a free Gabor Mate webinar on Trauma and I was looking for a platform that could help me and his webinar was amazing. . So I signed up.
Since then I was notified by my Councellor who had read the reviews, that most masterclasses are in French which was not advertised. I don’t speak French. I also have read reviews and people are sharing about the added fees they are incurring and that they can’t cancel their renewal easily and therefore get charged and customer service is different to get answers for. For this reason I’m not trusting the company or the process of getting people to sign up. And I’m doubting if this site is another scam to get people to sign up under false pretended. So let’s see if I get a response as I’d like to cancel and get a refund.

This was eventually resolved in a satisfactory way by ‘Carla’ and her team: Similar to dozens of reports on here around annual renewals without transparency I too found this model of renewal both deceptive and unethical. Using dark patterns, this business renews at a substantially higher price (i.e., jumping from $299 to $598) and overloads the customer's email with excessive promotional emails to ensure that the customer misses the 'renewal email'. Additionally, I signed up originally through 'Master Class' with specific interest in Gabor Mate's class, but following emails came from Mentorshow - ensuring that the customer is confused/needs to decipher what subscription is which. After a few months of first purchasing a year of access, I received a PHONE CALL from Gabor Mate's marketing team asking if I wanted to receive more classes, further training, etc, and I said 'NO'; that it was beyond my means and capacity.

$598 USD, is over $800 CAD, which I cannot afford as a single mother of four kids. This is simply unreasonable and have asked for a refund - so far, customer service has been completely non receptive to my request. Do NOT sign up with this company!

J’ai demander de recevoir le lien d’un replay que je n’avais eu au départ. Une fois reçu très rapidement j’ai pu revoir la webconference. Rapidité et professionnalisme. Les masterclass gratuites me permettent d’évoluer un peu plus et me font du bien.
A défaut de pouvoir suivre les cours payant en ligne. Merci pour cela 🙏🏻

I have upgraded this to 4* as we reached a fair settlement - 50% reimbursed which I have already received. I can still access the course for the rest of my subscription when I am better. Thanks Carla for sorting.

I am currently in communication with MentorShow and it's not going great. On 23rd February 2026 I signed up in good faith 100% wanting to do this. I am a full-time single-parent-carer to a child with complex disabilities. On 3rd March I ended up in hospital diagnosed with Severe Anaemia needed transfusions. I am really unwell. It will take 6 months for my body to make hemoglobin. I am barely getting through some days. I have not accessed any online learning modules or the mentoring opportunities. I asked MentorShow to refund me on medical grounds as I cannot partake of such a program now. I offered to send medical evidence. I was refused with them stating out of the 14 day period. After 14 days I was in hospital!

I asked for the complaints email but was ignored.
