Bought handbag from MCM UK store

Bought handbag from MCM UK store. Returned to my home country and saw security bag still on the strap ( rolled up inside the bag ).

I emailed the store but was told to bring it back to the store (even when I told them I did not live in the UK). I asked whether the UK store could contact one of the MCM stores In my country, but was told to try contacting myself. They also suggested taking the bag to a shoe repair shop in the UK (again even when I said I don’t live in the UK).

I emailed MCM customer service in my home country and was told the theft alarm system used was different from the UK MCM store. When I asked for the store managers email, she refused and said it’s personal data.

I tried contacted UK MCM Worldwide online but was told the online store a was separate business from MCM branches.

Its been a year now and I’ve tried very high street shop in my country begging them to try removing the security tags for me. Most of them look at me in a suspicious way and none of their systems could remove the tag.

Such poor poor customer service. It’s like banging your head against a wall. Once you’re out of the shop, they don’t want to know!

Don't shop here poor customer service I requested a refund due to the incorrect size they would NOT ASSIST ME WITH REFUND. ASKED TO SPEAK WITH SUPERVISOR 2 TIMES NO HELP WAS GIVEN. I ORDER SHOES CALLED RIGHT BACK WITHIN A HOUR TO CANCEL THERE POLICY SUCKS. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS WEBSITE I'LL DEAL WITH DEPARTMENT STORES THAT CARRIES THERE BRAND. CUSTOMERS BEWARE

I have read most of the reviews online…

I have read most of the reviews online saying that the service and quality is bad but I had no issues whatsoever when I ordered, paid and also received the item in good condition with high quality packaging. I got one Visetos sling bag as a birthday present and is still in good condition after 6 months of use because I followed the instructions on the black booklet on maintaining it. Will be a returning customer as they have pretty good discounts from time to time!

Sehr schlechter Kundenservice

Ich habe mir an meinem Geburtstag eine Hobo-Tasche als Geschenk gekauft. Ich war in den ersten 6 Monaten zufrieden, aber Ich bemerkte einen Defekt (einige Risse) an den Kanten, der auch nach einigen Jahren nicht normal ist. Ich habe auch andere Markentaschen, die Ich seit so vielen Jahren benutze und stoße Ich nicht auf das gleiche Problem. Ich habe den Defekt zurückgemeldet und sie sagten mir, dass sie sich beim Hauptsitz in Korea erkundigen müssen, ob dies unter der beschränkten 1-Jahres-Garantie liegt. Ich wartete, wartete, wartete und sie kamen nie zu mir zurück. Der Kundenservice ist sehr schlecht und ich kann MCM definitiv nicht empfehlen. Sie werden dich nur enttäuschen.

I would give MCM zero star if I could

I would give MCM zero star if I could, I bought a medium tote from MCM, one they claim was built to last, not true at all, after about three years the leather started to peel in the back of the bag. The material they use to make this bag is cheap and definitely not made to last. I reached out to MCM’s customer service to see if I could have it repaired, I was told that any attempt to repair my bag would cause even more damage, this bag is garbage and I wish I had never bought it in the first place.

unacceptable customer service

did an order with number beginning of April . I received the parcel with delay which was acceptable because of the situation in Europe.
Unfortunately I received the wrong item. I sent pictures, by email and by the online chat (Rhonny and another lady, I cannot remember her name) where I showed them the pictures of the bag I received, picture of my order and the labels. ….they said is ok. Then by email it was asked to me another photo of the tiny inside label which is almost impossible to find, hidden inside the pocket and so small….

I sent it by email but never had response. I went back to chat and they couldn’t find my email.

So I decided to send it back….|I asked again the chat if I can have the ticket for the DHL. They told me that inside the black envelope, there is a ticket for return.

I called DHL to come and pick up the parcel….but “what a surprise” the ticket is wrong because there is no a 10 digits number…

I went back to chat to ask what is going on, and they told me me that this ticket is only for Germany….how many emails I need to send and how many times I need to speak in the chat for giving me a return ticket??

Surprisingly, the return ticket is not with DHL courier where they could pick up the parcel from my place, but I need to go personally to the post office to send the parcel …..you must be kidding…..

I am very busy to waste time from my job for going to post office for something that it’s not my fault
Because the COVID and the lockdown I did the online order and of course I don’t want to stay in the line in the post office
For such expensive products it’s unacceptable so poor service from the beginning till end.

I ordered offline and the bag was left outside in the rain. The box was destroyed and opened. When o sent the purse back they told me it looked used and had a "smell" They told me they have direct signature and it wouldn't be left like that bc they pay extra for the service. Anessa who denied it didn't even contact me to ask any questions about the bag. They told me there wasn't anything they would do about making it right. This company has over 2 billion is sales, but can't even give a store credit or exchange a bag that was left in the rain. How is that my fault!!!! Horrible customer service unprofessional company. I will never buy from them again. Absolutely disgusting what they do to people. They need to start making negative start for reviews bc it doesn't go low enough for this trash company!!

I have owned mcm bags for over 20…

I have owned mcm bags for over 20 years, one of my small backpack bags has a drawstring that has broken. When I contacted the company they told me they do not sell replacement parts. I told them I cannot be the only customer this has happened to and that I would like to keep the integrity of the bag by replacing it with the same material and I was not asking for a free drawstring that I would be more than happy to pay for it. They told me they were sorry, there was nothing they could do for me. I think a company of this size needs to have better customer service.

MCM doesn’t accommodate paying customers

MCM needs to get its website together as well. I tried to reset my password several times; it wouldn’t let me. The screen kept jumping back to the login section (I decided to do this on the computer and my phone). They’re making too much money to have such a low budget site. Anyways, I placed my order on 1/28/20. I called to cancel my order because somehow I missed the “shipment” section. I wanted to select overnight instead of standard. The MCM rep told me that they couldn’t cancel my order. I couldn’t understand why because I had just placed (literally 2 minutes before contacting customer service) my order. The rep told me that they usually take 1-2 business days to process, and the package should arrive shortly afterward. I took her word. It took two business days, and my package was scheduled to be delivered on 1/31/20. Somehow my package didn’t start moving until later that evening (8 PM). So I knew it would be impossible for it to be delivered on 1/31/20. I checked the next day, and the tracking info had changed and stated that my package would arrive on 2/3/20.
On 2/1/20, my package arrives in my city, and the info is updated, saying that it won’t come until 2/4/20. I reached out to FedEx, and they told me that there was an issue with my label, so they had to create a new one. I informed them that at this point, I would need to pick up my package because something fishy is going on. They told me to call MCM and have them reach out to override the restrictions so they could release my package at a FedEx station for pickup. I called MCM, and they refused to contact FedEx. I explained to them that I needed this package to be here by 2/3/20 because I took off of work to sign for it and that I will be leaving to go out of town on 2/5/20. The package is a gift for my niece. They still denied my request (their manager Christine denied my request as well).
I don’t understand why I can’t go into a facility where there are cameras and with my ID in hand as proof and pick up my package. I would think they would prefer that instead of allowing anyone at the delivery address to sign for a package. A mail carrier signed for one of the neighbor’s packages and marked it as delivered. The neighbor knew that something was off because the carrier never showed up (they have video surveillance as proof). I spent a lot of money with MCM, so I feel like they should more accommodating towards their customers. I will never purchase MCM again. I will somewhat due business with Gucci, LV, and other brands.

Great for me!

I don't know what all the bad reviews are about? I had an exceptional experience with MCM. I ordered a stainless steel water bottle, originally $70.00, they gave me $7.00 off for whatever reason. I was willing to pay that much because I couldn't keep my eye off it. Nonetheless, the bottle got here in 1 day, I didn't pay for any extra shipping. It was actually free! THANK YOU MCM.

Cancelling my purchase

I ordered a bag in the sale, it was late on a Friday night so wasn’t processed until Monday. I contacted them first thing Monday morning and they managed to cancel my order and ensure it wasn’t sent out to me as well as processing my refund back which I’m waiting to clear. I had no problems with customer service or advice chat online so please don’t be put off from other people’s experiences which had really worried me.

horrible Warrenty & customers service

- I and my family have purchased many backpacks, belts, purses, wallets, you name it and I’ve had to return one item over the years,
This was my first time using the customer service portal and it was very unresponsive, and very unhelpful

I purchased a backpack around May and just from slight wearing the backpack the strap tore in a very awkward place. I showed pictures to a customer service rep they asked me to provide proof of purchase Also. I understand they might have a lot of people faking or trying to get over but they claim my bank statements of the transactions from mcm was not enough. I bought many bags so there were a couple of them. you can see the price, location, simple information but you can understand and proof you were charged and bought items from a MCM store

I lost the recipe and never got a gift one so how am I supposed to proof of purchase. ?????

I haven’t had the backpack a year and they won’t replace my strap or even try to help without any cost. Giving the backpack still under warranty.

The poor poor customer service makes me never want to buy MCM and seem to believe they are what everyone says they don’t care about the customer like LV they make sure their customers are satisfied even after the purchase.

If I could give a negative zero I would! I ordered a belt for my son on 12/13 for Christmas and received an email today that it was cancelled. After looking at the other reviews, I can see this website does false advertisement quite often. I called customer service and spoke to Heather and then the supervisor Christina whom were both horrible and didn't care. Do yourself a favor and believe all these bad reviews. Pay a little extra and go to Gucci because this brand does not care about their customers. I will never buy anything from this brand again and will continue to raise awareness about my experience.

Never will i order MCM online again! Cyber monday they had extra 20% off so the backpack i had been really wanting went on sale for $697 and 20%of that price so it was only $557 and i was really happy because my husband said i could get it for christmas and i ordered it and today they cancelled and i asked why he said because it was on backorder so they just went ahead and cancelled at this point my husband was very upset and asked if they would just send him one when it got back in stock or get a different bag and they refused they told me to go in store and purchase a full price one! I honestly think they did not want to ship the bag to me because i got it on sale!

I rate MCM a NEGATIVE 0. If anyone is looking to purchase a purse, wallet, belt, or any other type of product from MCM, DON'T. I purchased a red bag a year ago and the color started deteriorating 4 months after I purchased it. I had the MCM store to ship it back and they called me with a $219.00 fee to try to correct the problem. I'm like no, you guys have a 1 year warranty. The lady tried to debate with me. I simply told her to send my purse back! I wish to God I would not have purchased anything from MCM. The fabric they make their BAGS with Does not last. MCM is the Worst. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING ELSE FROM MCM! NEVER!

I just would like to state that MCM…is too expensive for such poor service Walmart has better service

I just would like to state that MCM customer service is very poor and not accurate
I have called several times in regards to 2 items I purchased on June 28 in San Francisco which they consistently told me they where delivered to New Jersey June 20 HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE
No help what so ever , then to top it off when they did finally arrive I returned them and when I call 3xs asking what’s going on with my refund
They tell me it will take up to 10 business days for it to reflect on my end
Now today the lady says we sent you the items back because they where final sale REALLY why didn’t you say this 3 calls ago

Save yourself the trouble and don't buy

Purchased a Resnick Crossbody bag and I forgot to apply a discount code. Called them the first time and they told me that their system hasn't updated yet so that was understandable. Called them again about 20 mins later, they told me that the item was already shipped and that they could not cancelled the order nor can they apply the discount code(this was a lie). Fast forward one week later, I had recieved and then returned the item because I did not want it anymore. After 2 days of sending the item back, I only received a partial refund of my purchase. I called them and they told me that they apply the "discount" and that the item is now on final sale and cannot be returned. I told the customer service that they initially told me that they could not apply the discount for me and that there's nothing they could do. During all this time that they process the "discount", I was not notified whatsoever and was never contacted by their personnel. In the end, I had to have my bank dispute with them so that I could get the full refund back.

I ordered a birthday present for my husband on 4/29/19 and I figured I order it online since it was convenient even though I have one that I can go to 30 miles away. I paid for the 2 day shipping on Monday 4/29 and on the 2 day shipping which is 25.00, it said "order by 2 PM and get it on May. 1. When I checked my tracking, it said that it won't get here until may 2. When I called customer service to get my 25.00 back, they said they couldn't give it to me since may 2 was the 2 days. My point was, why do you have that saying on your 2 day shipping? If it didn't say that I was going to get it by May 1st, I would have driven to the store to get it. Then the customer rep said " did you not read the shipping policy ? It takes 24 hours to process the payment...then why in the world do you mislead information by saying it will be delivered by a certain date by paying extra money? If it takes 24 hours to process, don't say that if you place the order before 2 PM you'll get it on a certain date, because it makes no sense. The company needs to change the shipping policy or take the saying(order by 2pm and get it on this day) out or it's going to make a lot of people mad for not receiving the item on the date that they paid for.

I too would leave a MINUS star rating if I could.
I have been repeatedly LIED to this morning on the phone "no Managers in" "The system is down cannot access your account" "We will give you a call back in 15 minutes" "I will personally email you". I am going to Chartered Trading Standards Institute with my claim so they can be SHUT DOWN.
I was due a refund for £650.00 for a purchase made by myself on the 5th November 2018. I only received a refund for £65.00.

Please can you refund me the rest of my money - Do you understand that this is fraud? At the time of refund I asked for an email to be sent to me with proof of my refund WHICH I DID NOT RECEIVE. I don't know what type of unprofessional service you are running but it is clearly fraudulent and I will be leaving reviews urging other customers to NOT PURCHASE GOODS FROM YOUR WEBSITE.

I am owed a refund and an explanation why you have not refunded my money in FULL and why I was not sent an email to confirm my refund.
