Skeptical of what I received…
While the oil painting I received is beautiful, I highly doubt it was actually hand painted. There is ZERO texture on the canvas, which is odd for something that was supposed to be painted directly onto the canvas. Also, my “painting” was delivered from China. This seems to be a PRINT that I paid a lot of money for. I would not purchase from this website again.

Your piece was commissioned as a 100% hand-painted oil painting, not a print. We work with professional artists across our studio network, and in this case the artwork was painted and shipped from our China studio, which is why the shipment originated there.
We have also reached out to you directly and shared a photo of your painting while it was still under production, which clearly shows that it was being painted by hand on canvas. Had we received your concern earlier, we would have been happy to share additional work-in-progress photos as well for reassurance.

From start to finish, Mavenart made the experience of commissioning a painting very easy!
The staff I was in communication with was always friendly and helpful. They were more than willing to answer all my questions, and accommodate any requests for modifications or changes to the source photo we used. And once the painting was completed, they also had no problem with a few touch-ups to make the final result perfect.

A Christmas to remember...
MavenArt took a photo I had given them of our newborn son at 5 months old and created an art piece which we will cherish forever. I gave the painting as a gift to my wife for Christmas, taking one of her favorite photos of our son, playing at 5 months old while I held him and asking MavenArt to make it into a painting. When she opened up the gift, her eyes literally filled with tears because she was so happy and full of joy. The painting perfectly captures a special moment in our baby's life, and I was able to live the special moment of seeing my wife's reaction to the painting. I rarely "get the perfect gift", but I have to thank the MavenArt team in helping me do so this Christmas. PS - as a bonus, they worked with me to rush delivery so I would get the painting before Christmas - and their customer service team literally checked in with me just about every day until I received it. I couldn't be happier!

After going back and forth with the company, I finally accepted the “painting”. When it arrived, I opened the package, looked at it, and immediately put it back in the cylinder. It now sits in a draw.

Disappointed
Arrived late, was intended for Christmas. not entirely their fault as weather was terrible. Did a good job with painting our dog, and the background, not so good with painting my wife. I did approve of the sample. I did learn a lesson, Don't review your sample artwork on your phone. The company says they will work with you, but once the sample is approved your done. My wife is not happy with how she looks in the painting. If my wife is not happy the painting will not see the light of day. They did a good job with packaging. There are other companies out there. I will contact a local artist to see if they can fix the painting so it's not a total loss.

Beautiful tribute to my sister's dog, and top notch customer service
MavenArt did a fantastic job of recreating (in painted format) a picture of my sister's dog, who recently passed away. The picture included the dog in a meadow full of wildflowers, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The painting came out BEAUTIFULLY, with so much attention to detail. My sister LOVES the painting and said that it brings her so much happiness (and some tears)!
In addition, MavenArt's customer service was truly top notch. They were very communicative throughout the process, quick to respond to questions, and all-around very pleasant to interact with. I would (and will!) highly recommend this company to others!
