It was an absolute pleasure to have Matt and Joy at our wedding, the support and service they offered were top quality and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

They keep in touch before the wedding and after, lead you through the day of and make the whole experience so easy and pleasant.

Well where to start Matt, from the very beginning it was always a sure thing you were going to be our photographer. Your laid back approach made us feel at ease, our guests also said how amazing you are. We would recommend you to anyone as your work is stunning!

Beyond happy and grateful to have had Matt and Joy as our wedding photographers. They helped us create the most perfect day by far. From the moment they arrived, we were put at ease by their calm approach to our busy morning. They helped us stay on track and get us all excited for the rest of the day.
Matt literally does it all, he was here there and everywhere getting the best locations for photos and even helped save the day when it came to the dress not doing up! In a moment which could of turned to panic, Matt kept the room calm and got the dress done up. He helped not only with my dress but with my Dad and his cuff links. These moments may not be captured but are definitely heart warming memories.
Joy was an absolute pleasure to have around all day. Her bubbly presence was ever so calming and her keen eye for detail meant not only were getting ready spray shots captured but the little things like tags, support straps etc where all hidden or taken care of.
After meeting Matt & Joy at wedding showcase 2 years prior to our wedding and being the first thing we booked, I can happily say now Matt Allen photography was the best decision we made. Everything was timed so perfectly and ran in such a relaxed manner, most of the time leading us to be ahead of schedule. We think it’s so important that others realise that you spend a significant proportion of your day with your photographer, you need to like that person and feel comfortable with that person. With you Matt & Joy, it feels like we have gained new friends – you are both truly lovely people.
We are overjoyed with the quality of our sneak peek photos. We had the best day of our lives, it was everything we could have ever dreamed for. Thank you both so much for being part of it.

Matt and Joy were great to work with. The photos from our wedding are fantastic and they captured so many lovely moments. Both of them are lovely people who work hard but they aren’t intrusive or under your feet. Our guests said how much they were running round trying to get great pics, being friendly and helping even the awkward hidden people feel comfortable infront of the lense. The price was great and the communication was fab. Nothing was too much trouble and they were flexible with our ideas. No regrets in choosing them for our wedding day!

While myself and my partner were having an engagement photoshoot with him, it was very clear to see how experienced he is and there was no doubt in my mind we would end up with beautiful photos. Matt is an absolutely incredible photographer. He was one of the first suppliers we picked for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! He checked in with us throughout the whole planning process. He really listened to what we wanted and we are over the moon with the photos he created.
He put us at ease throughout the day and Matt is so nice which is important when you spend a lot of time on your day with your photographer.
He has a real artistic flair but all the pictures were so natural and really captured our day! We would recommend him without any doubt to anyone needing a wedding photographer!!!

Matt and Joy are both brilliant photographers. I asked for recommendations on a local Facebook page and several people tagged Matt Allen photography. I looked through several wedding photographers and Matt’s page stood out as I preferred the photos that were on his website. The costs of the packages were also reasonable compared to others that I had looked at.

Before the day, you have the chance to meet and discuss what type of photos you would like and who you would like photos with. This meant on the day, the process of getting different people in for photos was as effortless as it could be! Matt also listened when I said I wanted less photos of the bridal party getting ready before. Therefore he had more time at the reception to take photos of guests dancing after the first dance as well as the bouquet toss which is one of my favourite photos!

Several wedding guests commented on the day that they were impressed with Matt and Joy and thought they were brilliant. I look back on the photos and I could not have asked for anything better. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, I would recommended Matt to anyone, you will not regret it!

Matt was the best choice of photographer for our wedding. In the weeks before, communication was great which really put our mind at ease and gave us one less thing to worry about on the day. The consultation session beforehand ensured that he knew what we wanted. On the day itself he was brilliant, organised, polite, great with the guests, everything you could wish for. And the end result was perfect, Matt captured our day just the way we wanted, we're so happy with the photos that he took.

Matt was fantastic. Very efficient with fast replies to our questions. The photos were ready before we expected and the online portal for viewing the photos worked well!
