Loved the Wagyu Punta Negra and the Beef Brisket - great balance of fat and salt.
Not such a fan of the Ribeye which I find really dry.

Have just placed another order to try the Rump and Wagyu Reserva De Spalla with a repeat of Wagyu Punta Negra

Now wishing I included the Sirloin too - hopefully this will be a reason to return a 3rd time.

Excellent packaging and fast delivery.
The dry Ribeye let the first order down.

Overpriced and completely bland beef jerky. They market the fact that it contains only beef and salt as a selling point, but the result is a product with virtually no flavor. Even worse, the website advertises 300g, while the packaging reveals that this translates to just 100g after drying. Misleading marketing, poor value for money, and a disappointing product. More Instagram hype than actual quality.

I've placed a couple of orders now, and I'm very happy. There was an issue with the 2nd order and I contacted customer service - they were so quick to respond, even over the weekend. Mariana was super helpful and generous in getting things resolved.

It's definitely an expensive product, and that might put some people off, but it's so worth it. Premium packaging, premium product and premium customer service.

I'm definitely ordering more soon!

Gross. Wafer thin, greasy, salty. Completely lacking in meat taste and texture.
Not the worst Jerky / biltong I’ve ever eaten but absolutely not worth spending money on either.
I was so excited as I’ve had some seriously delicious jerky from a place in Northumberland (that stopped trading) and have been looking for a replacement for a very long time. Really hoped I’d found it in Mason Meats & the advert sold it to me. Bought everything on offer to try. Don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed in my entire life. On a plus note.. the dogs didn’t complain about their new snacks.

Really great snacks, its unlike any jerky you will have tried before, it's almost like a new product category.

Be aware some of cuts have fat included, which can be a little be greasy at room temp. This might put some people off, but it has much flavour personally I like the fat. Go for the leaner cuts otherwise, the chuck didn't have much fat.

My only criticism is that some of the limited edition wagyu ones were just too heavy on the salt, to the point they were not that pleasant to eat.

They also offer a subscription box, but the 5% discount it offers is so meagre its hardly worth the bother.

Would also be useful if you could attach a printed note in the order so you can send it as an interesting gift. They do sell gift cards but that's not ideal.

Wow… Undoubtedly the best jerky I’ve ever had. Ordered wagyu punta negra, sirloin, ribeye and sirloin, and all of them are absolutely delicious. Some are really lean, some really fatty, some good by themselves, and others I see best in recipes they provide. Most importantly, no nitrates, just salt and beef. A bit pricey, but I’d pay this premium to avoid being pumped full of nasty chemicals.

Very greasy and heavily coated in salt. As a body builder it’s not for me, not much protein when it has so much salt,!!

Just received my first pack of Sirloin Jerky. Clearly a high quality product and absolutely delicious. Carefully packed and delivered promptly

Rib Cap - Never had any form of jerky like this…? Incredible flavor and texture, a little oily from the fat content but fat is flavor. I like it that much I’ll ignore the price, (£17). It is costly, but quality isn’t cheap, it is rich, so as much as I want to finish the pack I’ll savor it over a couple of evenings. Note: review submitted before pouring a second glass of wine.

Delicious, so much so I finished the bag in a sitting...but that sitting cost me £26(had the wagyu), it's just too expensive to be anything regular, at least for me. Not going to drop it down a star for that though...would I dine in a Michelin star and drop a star because it's too expensive for me? No. I loved it. But I doubt I'll buy again as it's just too expensive

The quailty has gone down dramatically since the first time I ordered. It use to be light, crispy and almost dissolved in the mouth. Now it is dry, inedible and lacks any flavour. I will literally not be eating any more of it so I have wasted over £80. I can only assume that they have changed their process or their meat supplier. The texture of the 'Wagyu Cadera Reserva' was so bad that I had to drink water with it to swallow it properly. I thought the beef crumble would have a much better texture but it also wasn't great. So disappointing.

Hi I have been a buyer of your products many times and at the start they were fantastic, however my last couple of batches have been questionable, the thickness of the jerky is that thin it has cut my mouth and tongue.

My new batch has just arrived and I'm extremely disappointed! absolutely full of fat! burnt and wafer thin.

I would like a full refund as its not worth it to me any more. like I said used to love the products.

Hi guys I just had my order from Masons mates and oh my was I impressed I recommend the lean cut rib cap but they all had a unique flavour that was superb being only 2 ingredients.I do have to say tho it’s abit on the pricey side but definitely worth it especially if you can see it from a buisness point of view.Loved it will be back Cheers mason

Insanely good tasting jerky. Blows others out the water. Expensive but worth it 🙏

I expected the rib cap fatty but not 90% fat and 10% beef (meat was tasty but definitely not worth the money). Would try a different cut but wouldn't waste my money for fear of being disappointed again, hence the initial low score.
UPDATE: I have made a complete U-turn here which is very rare for me! These guys sent replacements of Wagyu Brisket & Punta Negra which were phenomenal! The balance of meat to fat ratio were absolutely perfect and extremely tasty. Yes, a little on the expensive side but these cuts were very well worth it and would not hesitate to buy again. Thank you for such amazing customer service and restoring my faith in your outstanding products.

I've never been a fan of beef jerky but Mason's beef brisket is absolutely delicious and just ordered another two packs 😋

This is the tastiest beef jerky I’ve ever tried. Has a nice crisp to it and then melts away in the mouth. Yes, it is expensive, but it is a premium product using grass fed beef and salt only. Delicious!

The jerky itself is dull and lifeless, and the marketing somehow makes it worse. Leaning on the tired “if you can’t pronounce the ingredients, they must be bad” fallacy isn’t evidence of quality. Fewer ingredients doesn’t automatically mean better. Sell better jerky, not chemophobia.

I was thinking at first masons meat was quite expensive and didnt think it would be worth it but I decided to try anyway I ordered 2 packs and what can I say

The delivery was very quick the bags wear much bigger then I thought they would be and the meats would really good absolutely addictive tbf what a snack top quality service and product *****

Really disappointed. Lacked any flavour, very oily and not worth the price.
