Set up direct debit to pay off fine, they didn’t take the money and instead sent bailiff’s round to my house. I then had to pay the bailiffs even tho I’d set up a payment plan with them. They now owe me money and have done since before Christmas, I have rang many times and sent emails and nobody has got back to me !!!

Absolutely vile people. Turned up at 7am in a enterprise van, big bulky men, rang my phone, didnt speak to me like a human being at all, said he was outside taking my car. Ive gone outside and asked him to explain what is happening as i didnt know about the debt, hes shoved his ipad in my face and said i need to pay 510 now or hes taking my car! Wouldnt speak to me wouldnt explain anything, it was pitch black and i live in the middle of nowhere with no buses, with 2 small children. No payment plan was offered. He treated me like i wasnt even a human being! All this 2 weeks after christmas and whilst having a miscarriage. Like i said absolutely vile people

These people must be idiots. I recieved a random phonecall from a private mobile phone number saying that I owe money for a traffic violation and he could send me a link where I could pay 500 quid.

Obviously sounds like a scam, as there was no validation. He gave me a case number and Marston Holdings as a business.

I've since tried to contact them by email, phone and chat. The email they don't respond to. The phone system and chat requires my adress as security confimation. But the kicker is... they have the WRONG address.

That is why I haven't been reciving letters in the first place, someone gave them the wrong adress for me. Which is why (if this company is legit) I haven't been paying the bills, but now it also means I can't actually confirm this is not a scam because they won't let me discuss the case as I don't know what wrong adress they have for me.

How stupid. I need the incorrect address they have to talk to them. But how could I possibly know an address that is incorrect?

Mr Nicholls (They call themselves Mr, Mrs Ms, to make themselves feel important and to give themselves anonymity) turned up at our previous address to hand deliver what appeared to be an official letter demanding £508 for driving through a clean air zone 6 months beforehand. I called the council in question and the operative was very helpful, telling me that the actual amount I owed was £200 (Marston Recovery had added £300 for their trouble hence the title), however since I hadn't received any notice to this prior to hearing from Marston, they submitted a re-issue of the initial charge of £69 (£60 plus the original £9 clean air zone charge) which I paid, saving myself £439 off of what Marston were scaremongering me into paying. Ignore the threats and sense of urgency they apply and the alternatives they threaten.
Don't pay Marston Recovery, they are just feeding off of people's misfortune, contact the authority direct and they should be able to sort you out.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Beware of Mr Elamin, he is threatening and horrid. Very unnecessary, really disgusting company

Came direct to my door demanding payment, I questioned this because no paperwork was provided and I wasn’t aware, Started walking off smiling up my driveway stating she will book for removal of goods. Seemed very pleased with herself. Guessing she felt like she had one over on me.
Such a shame people and companies exist like this still.

MARSTON RECOVERY SUITE 4&5 CAMBRIDGE HOUSE HARLOW CM20 2EQ is a scam company that prays on vulnerable people illegally and breaks the law. We are taking them to court, and I strongly suggest other victims like myself get in touch, as we are already taking them to court. Send us all your info and tell us about the injustice of these thieves.

I was sent a recovery letter, threatening bailiff action for a motor vehicle offence. Confusingly, the vehicle had been sold to a licensed motor trader for £200, 2 years and 6 months prior to the alleged offence... for parts/scrap. It would be pretty miraculous for that vehicle to have been parked anywhere, let alone illegally. In order to prove this and stop their threatened action I had to provide a myriad of documents, wasting my time and threatening my mental health as I feared my family and neighbours experiencing bailiff action for no reason, based on the fact the offence couldn't possibly have been committed.

I received no proof of the alleged offence from either Marston, the alleged Council authority (Oldham Metro) and when I called Northampton Court, who had allegedly held the warrant for action.... they had no record of the incident, vehicle, claim, reference or myself. A cynic might suggest the entire event was fabricated, because the amount was relatively small (£189) and it might have been easier/less scary for me to just pay. I'm sure there are thousands of people who just pay.

Without proof, lets just say that I ASSUME this is a scam outfit, preying on the vulnerable, making money for nothing.

I feel sorry for the people working there who no doubt have to spend their day trying to extort (allegedly) normal people whilst management are building careers based upon debt. Thankfully, I am in a position to retain a solicitior who is reviewing all the documentation, correspondence and liasing with the other authorities in the process.

Horrible bully boys. Enforcement agent told my partner he didn't care about her being listed as vulnerable and was his own boss using his own guidelines, also refused to take a £1000 part payment and stated "he'd bring a van to empty our house". I'd suggest Marstons start taking CRB checks before employing people as frankly it was criminal.

Would give it no stars if I could!!! The reviews speak volumes about this outrageous company and the so called staff who work within it!!! My son passed all his training, propelled at it said his trainers!! Went out shadowing Billy not so big b*ll*cks who's a liar to I might add, said my son was late....he's a type 1 diabetic and has to have his sugars under control before he can drive!!! Said he asked to leave early all the time....one time because his car was pre booked in for an mot!!! Nothing but liars and bully's, unprofessional to say the least. Obviously not everybody can be wrong by these reviews. My advice going forward to the unfortunate who have to deal with these morons is look up the strawman and freemasons, do your homework and know your own legalities!!

I was training with the company and never in all my life have I been disrespected and discriminated against by a manager I suffer with long term health condition and this was reported upon interview and it’s one of the reasons I’ve been let go and let’s not get into the situations where I’ve witnessed bailiffs being very very unprofessional

They are not willing to come to an agreement of any sort. Not polite, very unhelpful.

received a parking notice for 100 for stansted airport, they clearly can't do their job properly since evidence that I had paid from my bank and the ticket too to get out of the barrier, robbers at daylight with parking at 18 pound for half hour and then to get this fine simply proves the system does NOT work!! I have now asked they pay me the 18 pound for my time on my day off to appeal this. Useless robbers!!!! will not go to stansted airport again! EDIT wow seeing the hundreds of reviews that are all bad! why has this company allowed to continue? I will NOT pay for something I have already paid for, on yer bike Marston/NSL numpties with clearly no training 2ND EDIT. the email on their letter is void too!!! its bounced straight back,,,twice,,, update your letters before telling others that they are being fined for no reason!

I've been sent an enforcement letter by Marston because they say I didn't pay a toll fee at the Dartford crossing. I have a receipt of payment for the charge, so they have made an error.
After going through every single option on their IVR system when calling it became apparent that they do not take calls. Everything is automated so you cannot dispute something.
This is completely corrupt and surely illegal? Definitely a scare tactic so people just pay charges to make things go away.
Absolutely disgusting and criminal.
They redirect you to a chat service an app that again doesn't allow you to dispute or request a call back or speak to an actual human being.

I am a prison officer and wouldn't dream of speaking to the convicted criminals that I converse daily with, in the way that Marsten employees deem it acceptable to talk to their clients.
They need to move with the times and steer away from out-dated bully boy tactics. How dare they feel they have the right to talk to people in that way.

I missed a payment on a payment because they're automated payment was not working on the App , I tries to contact them through they're chat service ,to no avail
I then sent a message through they're complaint system explaining thst I couldn't make payment
I then phoned an agent explaining all the above and I would make payment on my next pay date , who said this was fine , they day before I was going to make payment an enforcement officer knocked on the door asking for full payment plus his 240 fees
These people are criminals trying to extort more money put of people who are genuinely struggling

Why on earth are stockport council using these awful people. They send penalty fines after the deadline date so that the fine is increased. They use shock tactics and wording in their letters to frighten people. I recieved a fine that was 2 years old that I had never heard about before. They said I had, then discovered they had been sending letters to a wrong address. They demanded almost £600 or threatened to remove goods within days. They are disgusting and should be ashamed.

It was impossible to contact Marston without using a chat system and all the operator could do is say they'd refuse to talk to me because it's to do with a company and an enforcement officer needs to attend to verify the address. No matter what I said I got the same repeated reply. No thank you, no apology.

Beyond frustrating to be falsely threatened via letter, then have an impossible situation wasting my time to try and get their clerical error cleaned up.

Maybe if Marston start receiving invoices for my time spent doing their job would make them pay better attention and seek correct resolutions?
