This is the second time this disgrace of a company have chosen to threaten my young daughter and partner. This time for a toll fine, which i might add was paid in full on time and have a confirmation letter and receipt saying so. They are threating to turn up at their house and take their car for a fine that is not due, even the official government website says they do NOT owe anything!! I am telling you now if you turn up at their door you will not know what's hit you!! I rang the company to be spoken too like a piece of shit and they had the cheek to put the phone down on me, I don't know how these people sleep at night! I have since reported this company to the ombudsman and have instructed my solicitor. The reviews speak for themselves and cannot believe this company is still trading! Not for much longer!!

If they turn up at your house and you have no high end valuables and are genuinely skint just walk out your own property leave them in there. It's all scare tactics and the items they can legally remove are limited and cost more to remove and sell

At first this company wanted a ridiculous amount of money from me a month which would have made me homeless. They have done an expenditure form with me and know full well that I can't even afford the sum agreed but they are still demanding it.

I have set up a payment plan with this company only for them not to accept my payments because i'm trying to pay before my due payment date! Why can you not pay off your debts when you have the money and do it sporadically rather than having to have a lump sum???? I now have to wait until I have the lump sum in my account which is difficult to do as I have other bills/commitments.

I'm not shirking my debts I totally own up to having them but it would be nice if when i'm trying to pay they would accept my payment.

Had some one call today saying I had a parking ticket for a black car with my reg and my car is gray and the agent the. Went to say it was black I. The photo because of the shadow I have never had the parking ticket and at the time it was ment to have been it was day light hours and the car is gray not black not happy I have trued to contact the company who issued the parking ticket but can not talk to anyone just won’t the payment

Absolutely atrocious. Can’t get their own admin in place. Then added an extra £230 for attendance of a recovery officer whom I spoke to and hadn’t been property at the point of conversation. Low and behold an hour after the conversation of my advising I’d just settle the charge, they’ve charged an extra £240 for attendance.

Absolutely disgusting service, agent turned up at my home while I was unwell demanding thaf I pay an outstanding fine whixh had tripped from £175 to £555, they broke my wings mirror on my car (and said they didn't do it when I know they did) and clamped my car and said if I don't pay the full amount they would be taking my car, they are rude disrespectful company & hooe they are closed down because some of the ways they demand money from people should be and probably is illegal & when you say you can't afford something or the full amount they do not care one bit

To anyone having to deal with this place please seek advice and challenge them; I've just won my challenge for a pcn notice that I never received they tried to force me to pay £515, telling me that my car would be taken if seen via ANPR; now whilst I did go down a road with restricted hours I did not receive the original pcn which they said was sent in May 2024, I only found out end of January this year; I was not going to hand over £515. the LA could not produce the original PCN or other communication and neither could Marston; so I decided to go into battle with both and after lengthy email with evidence in regards to change of address notifications to DVLA / LA and redirection service to the local authority; these people will not be getting a penny from me; they've been instructed to cease enforcement; the local authority will get their £65.00, so relieved. If you owe council tax or certain other bills you can seek advice from the Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman. check their website. I really hope this helps, there is a lot of information online to support you.

Contacted Marston several times by email regarding a penalty notice which has been incorrectly sent to my address, Still not sorted out and sending threatening letters. No way of calling them. There needs to be a process in place to address issues and not ignore complaints.

I don't write this review for random people as if this group contacted you it was definitely not your choice - I write this review for everyone working there, Why can't you give a tiny bit of feeling while snapping one last bite?
I wish you all to get into the same position you make others go through!!
and - Oh yeah, your boss/es they chill somewhere, couldn't care about you, not your future, not your family, nothing... so when their new employee will chase you, he will just laugh... like you & he did from us.

This company do nothing but harass people! I owe £85 for a parking ticket on an old vehicle, of corse with their fees I now owe £165. I explained that I’ve been signed off work for nearly a year so I made a part payment, and arranged to pay the rest off in two further installments.
Despite this, I’m still being inundated with phone calls from them daily.
Why don’t they just leave people alone.
The lady I initially spoke with told me to ask family to pay it, which I categorically refused to do. I think they’re very rude, and cause unnecessary stress to people.

Feckless idiots

So today I received yet another knock on the door from a debt collector after receiving a debt letter.

I did not answer the door and I will not answer as I do not own this debt as it's not in my name. It's for a previous Tennant.

I have already months a go sent twatson group my council tax bills to prove I'm living in the current address.

I have any sent prove off me living here.
If this keeps up I will be taking legal action as i have autism and this is streesing me out

AVOID Failed to collect a debt for me. They report they visited 3 times but have provided no proof of this. No visits were made out of hours, despite telling me at least one would be. Now, they report the debtor has moved - yet I saw him accepting a delivery at his address the other day, so it is clearly not true. They don't care, communication and admin is very poor and now i feel conned, not only be the builder who owes me money, but by the collectors too.

Refused debt validation, they refused to give me a copy of any documents for the original fine for the debt they are trying to retrieve, refused to give us the name of the company (the original creditor) so that we can dispute it. Then the phone was hung up. Not sure if this is legal or no, but how are we supposed to know if this is legit if we arent provided with any info or documents. Will be looking into this and taking it futher, as our company also records calls.

Bully boy tactics and refusing to offer a payment plan, I was told if you don’t have it ring family and sort it, We have ways to recovery it when we return !

Single mother suffering the loss of a child! Anxiety and depression disorder, how on earth do you people sleep !

I want to complain about a man called J Shaw what a bully and intimidating person he should be investigated for scaring people.

Currently recieving debt recovery letters to my address for someone who has never lived here.

Impossible to contact by phone and when I did get through the girl on the end of the phone was clueless.

Directs to “an app” which doesn’t work - and asks YOU to verify your identity.

Another example of a cowboy company who are both clueless and incompetent.

Reported my case to the police in anticipation of their bailiffs.

I keep getting texts from Marston addressed to someone called Carrell Cmpbell who is not ne and who I dont know. I have told them repeatedly that I am not this person and to stop sending me texts, which they have completely ignored. They obviously don't care and have taken no steps whatsoever to correct their misinformation and stop sending these unwanted Spam texts.

Horrible nasty bunch of leaching rats! Phoned whoever the fella was who turned up to my door to sort a payment plan got told no I'm coming to take stuff if you don't pay, told the bully he ain't taking a thing out of my house, maybe they can't get a real job in authority so this is the next best option to throw their weight around, absolute bullies

Bailiff turned up at my door at 6am and terrified my poor mum who had not heard him knocking as she struggles with hearing (a legitimate disability that you pricks by law need to accommodate for, not mock). She opened the door to let our cat out and was met by a 6ft man in all black demanding payment and complaining that he had been knocking for ages. What did you possibly expect when turning up in the pitch black at 6am? I had submitted evidence a week prior when I received a letter from Marston, showing my bank statement proving the parking fines had been paid months ago and yet they still turned up and threatened to clamp my car if no payment was made. We ended up having to pay so my car wouldn’t be clamped- and the bailiff did nothing but mock my mum when her card initially declined, he offered no identification so for all we knew he was a burglar, and he was completely dismissive and unhelpful when we mentioned that this debt had been cleared months ago. I’ve submitted a complaint and yet heard nothing back. I’ve tried calling about 10 times and the company have very tactically made it so that it is impossible to reach a human being to discuss issues with. As someone with a qualifying LAW DEGREE, I am extremely concerned with the actions of this company, and I will not stop until I’ve received all my money back. I want compensation for scaring my mum, and acknowledgment that you hire inadequate bullies who clearly only experience the power they so desperately desire in life by turning up at people’s doorsteps and intimidating them into submission. I said to the bailiff “you’ve turned up in pitch black to a house of just women at 6am dressed like a burglar and you’re not shocked that you frightened us” to which he replied “I didn’t know it was only women here” to which I replied saying that’s exactly my point. If you don’t know the door you’re knocking on could host someone vulnerable, then you should adjust your behaviour to be non threatening, and conscientious. God forbid they try this with someone with mental health problems, a disability, or someone elderly. Vile, vile, vile company. What bad karma you all have coming for you!

Bloke randomly turned up, thinking he can bully his way making threats on taking a £30k car for a couple of £600 tickets. Told him to take the car instead he sat there for 2 hours. Even his car looked like the engine is falling apart. Asked him if he enjoys his job and his expression said it all. This sums up everything that’s wrong with this country.
