Scammers - we worked with Rijul and Sheldon starting January 5, 2024. Not only did they simply take our money, they provided zero leads and kept referring us to their "leads" over the course of well over a year; it was spam. They spam capital providers, just ask LPs, VCs, and PEs. Go with them or simply set your money on fire, you'll be left with the same outcome. However, if you burn your money, at least you'll have warmth momentarily.

We have now finished the first, and are entering the second phase of our co-operation with Marquee Equity, and their efficient, polite and proficient staff. We were delayed by a particularly hard to find fault in another company´s work, but Aftab Khan went out of his way to help us through solving the issue. Thanks Aftab, and Priyansh, for pushing through with us!

Indeed, they have a good collection of investor data. I was sceptical initially to opt for Marquee service, but it was a good experience. Initially, I worked with Madhavi to build the financial plan, which was a good exercise. She did a good job and is quite proactive as well.

Later, I started working with the outreach team led by Nishita, which was again a good experience. Fundraising is difficult, but the team helps you in drafting emails that can lead to a good response from investors. Cold emails usually don't work, but in this case I managed to get some responses from a few people. At the time of writing this review, I am still in the process of raising funds, but what is promised by Marquee is being delivered.

What could be done better:
More proactiveness from everyone, continuously changing the structure of the campaign, and changing data based on responses — these things can be done, but again, no complaints, just a small suggestion. Otherwise, my experience is positive so far.

I was contacted by Marquee Equity via LinkedIn. At first I thought my small business might not be the right one for Marquee to promote. But Mr. Shvetank encouraged me in such a positive heartily way that I dared to jump into the collaboration. With Ridhi I started to prepare the pitch-deck. I appreciate a lot that Marquee worked with me on a very individual basis. My suggestions and ideas have been integrated in a very sensitive way into the pitch-deck. The next step was to get ready for out reach and Aftab Khan took over. Even though we ran into quite some problems regarding the sending of so many emails due to eventual phishing issues. My team was not able to solve this problem. I was afraid that Marquee might give up on me. Aftab did whatever he could to remove the stones on the way. He even selected a new website for me free of charge. Now we are close to start the reach out. I am really excited how things will move on. To mention I am completely inexperienced when it comes to selling a company. During all the last months I stayed in close contact with Aftab Khan. He calmed me down when doubts shook my nerves. To put it in a nutshell: I can only recommend the Marquee Equity team. Honestly, I have not one complaint until the very day!

Over the past year, I engaged Marquee Equity with the expectation that they would assist in securing an acquirer or equity partner for my company. Their initial pitch was impressive and included support with a teaser, pitch deck, financials, and outreach to investors such as VCs, family offices, and angel networks.
While the documentation was eventually produced, the execution that followed was extremely disappointing. After the initial handover of materials, there was no meaningful investor engagement, no traction, and ultimately no interest generated. Their outreach efforts—one of the core services they marketed—were either minimal or nonexistent based on the results and lack of updates.
What was most concerning was the progressive lack of communication. Follow-ups went unanswered, timelines were missed, and the process did not resemble what was presented in their proposal. For a service positioned as a professional fundraising partner, the level of responsiveness and accountability was far below expectation.
In my experience, the service did not deliver on the value promised, and the overall professionalism fell short. I would strongly encourage other founders and business owners to exercise caution before engaging with this company, especially if you are relying on them for structured investor outreach or strategic fundraising support.
