Man Flow Yoga is an online yoga training resource designed to help you achieve your physical fitness goals with yoga, specifically designed for fitness-minded men.
Man Flow Yoga Flow Yoga is not like typical yoga - the focus is on building strength, increasing active mobility, and improving overall physical fitness. Workouts are shorter and more effective than traditional workouts, do not require you to be flexible, and have a significant focus on proper alignment and technique.
Man Flow Yoga offers online training programs and workouts through its website, manflowyoga.com. Their founder, Dean Pohlman, is a former collegiate athlete turned yoga instructor. He created Man Flow Yoga to appeal to men who were interested in yoga for the physical fitness benefits but didn’t want the traditional spiritual approach.
Since 2012, Man Flow Yoga has been creating yoga workouts and programs, writing blogs, and creating content to help men (and women) learn how yoga can help to improve your fitness. Dean is also the author of Yoga Fitness for Men and the co-producer of the Body by Yoga DVD Series.

I love that Dean had made specific yoga programs tailored to trouble areas for older guys. As someone who has had knee problems for years and finally getting surgery, Deans knee series has helped me to still do yoga while protecting my knees from further injury. Thanks

I’ve been looking a long time for a yoga course that recognized that stiff, overweight, old men needed a different plan of attack than a 20-something young woman. I finally found Man Flow Yoga. The Absolute Beginner’s routine is kind of tough, but doable. After a month, my back and legs are less stiff and I’m able to hold many of the poses for the full time. This is going to be a long relationship.

I can just summarize my one-year experience with Man Flow Yoga as follows: Fun, rewarding, new lifestyle. My life and my body has changed completely, not to mention my lower back- and neck pains due to Ankylosing Spondylitis almost completely gone (no more pills). Did I also mention I got much stronger in my arms, chest, legs and core? So, this actually WORKS!

Dean does a fantastic job of explaining the “why’s” of every session and I can definitely feel and notice a difference in just a few months. Not only are the workouts fun but difficult, I really enjoy the Better Man podcasts and discussions. The stress relief and better sleep are a big plus too. Jesse also does a great job motivating and conversing with every on the community page.

Besides the fact that the workouts gave immediate relief of pains I used to have, threefold reasons make Man Flow Yoga very great for me: 1) access to workouts designed by an Yoga Master, quite rare here where I live; 2) man focused workouts with detailed explanations starting from Absolute Begginers; and, 3) the workouts are carefully selected for overall health, well being and longevity.

I have been very surprised and enthusiastic about my experience. Man flow yoga is a very high quality platform that is responsible for making yoga an achievable goal. The workouts are fantastic. Dean is able to communicate instructions on the various poses extremely well. I’m happy with my subscription!

There’s some many programs and workouts one can choose from. Dean does an amazing job explaining each of the exercises. I love how each exercise builds off each other. I’ve been apart of MFY for 3 months now and I’ve seen an improvement in my mobility, flexibility and strength. These exercises have allowed to make progress in weightlifting. Before joining MFY, I didn’t have much mobility in my shoulders or hips. This made it hard to do certain exercises difficult or it was causing pain. When I started working on those difficult areas through MFY, I was able to complete each set with perfect form thus allowing me to lift more weight. I also enjoy the fact that there’s a community to be apart of. To encourage each other to be consistent and level up on our fitness journey. After just 6 weeks, I had decided to become a year long member. I have no doubt in my mind that Man Flow Yoga, will help me achieve my goals.

Great Yoga Introduction for Men!
As a middle aged man who didn't move much I was very reluctant to get into yoga. Man Flow Yoga has offered me a perfect way to getting into yoga to regain strength, mobility and fitness. I absolutely loved the beginners course that even I could (most of it) do. I have already noticed improvements to my health and mobility, and can't wait to explore the many other yoga courses that Dean offers. Thank you for creating this great yoga course for men like me!

Deans sessions are great, he explains each exercise well with modifications to suit all abilities. As a very inflexible man in this 60s, suffering from arthritis, I have found MFY a great asset in helping to build strength and flexibility while not being too uncomfortable.
Will definitely be keeping going and have already recommended MFY to my friends and colleagues.

Dean's on-line tutorials are conducted and instructed in exactly the manner that benefits his students the most. He is very detailed in his instructions for how to correctly move in to and out of positions, as well as describing exactly what you should be feeling (or not feeling) as you correctly position your body and activate muscles and while holding the pose. He also frequently mentions the importance of breathing, and how to breathe for the most benefit. It is very helpful to listen to his constant talking and reminders throughout each pose or position - it helps me focus. Although I am only in my fourth week of my first program, I shall be very pleased if the remaining courses are this good! I also must mention that the support MFY gives to new members during their first months are fantastic. The MFY Facebook page is extremely valuable too - they foster a strong sense of community among members, which for this member is very much appreciated!!
I can't enough positive things about my experience with MFY so far, and I look forward to being a member of the MFY community for a long time!

Yoga has been a huge benefit to me the past several years. 99% of the instructors I've followed previously were all women. After my first MFY session I realized there was a huge difference. While I was well beyond a beginner with my flexibility MFY identified several weaknesses in "my game" I felt parts of me I didn't know existed and uncovered several areas I needed to address. I really didn't Yoga could help build strength as well as flexibility. Frankly, I felt like the proverbial 98lb weakling even though I stand 6'3" and 200lb some of the moves had me shaking and giving up. I'm 65 play basketball twice a week and have completed the first 14 sessions of the program, feeling stronger and more fit, though I know it's just the beginning. This goes beyond stretching for men and while it can be gruelling at the start (it should be right?) it will reap a grand harvest if you fight through it! I'm stoked to take on the challenge of being a better version of me and playing ball for another decade or longer and MFY is going to help me do both!

The workouts are easy to follow and Dean's coaching is extremely helpful. Sometimes there are small glitches in the scheduling and video delivery but overall the programs are definitely worth the time it takes to see improvements and strength, body awareness and flexibility.
