Lupine changed our dog’s life Kyoto and our life. The team has a great passion for dogs and doggies’ happiness, they have a great experience with dogs’ behavior and what is needed to make changes. This is very much needed specially with difficulr breeds such as Shiba Inu which is Kyoto’s breed.

LUPiNE CANINE, Best Trainers Ever!!

I got my Boxer Puppy Koko at the age of 3 months. I very quickly found out that Koko was the most anxious dog that i have ever seen. She was literally afraid of everything outside the house like cars, bikes, noises and of people which led to fear agression.That made it very difficult for me and i really needed help!!!
Luckily i saw Ellie one day training a dog and by looking at her training methods i immediately knew that this is exactly what we needed.
Koko did not only needed training but also behaviour modification, i had the full package of problems…
With Ellie’s, Lottie’s, Leander’s, Callisto’s and Atlas’s help,Koko slowly got on the street without shaking, became more friendly towards other dogs and importantly with people.
Koko is now nearly 2 years old and is much more confident. She loves all members of Lupine Canine and the whole dog pack!

Our dog loves spending time with the team at Lupine Canine. He has stayed on two occasions now and has been very happy both times. We will definitely book again. I love the reassurance of receiving photos each day so that i know he is happy.

We have tried pretty much every trainer under the sun to no avail with our 2/3 year old doberman. Only since working with Lupine Canine have we seen tangible results and a difference in our dog's behaviour, to the extent that other members of the family have commented on how she jumps less, and is far more 'under control'. Bear in mind this is only three weeks into the program.

Leander is an excellent professional with an endless well of knowledge who takes the time to explain the reasoning behind certain methods, or certain responses from our dog. Everything has become so much clearer in our minds since working with Leander, our dog is so much happier, and we are certainly looking forward to seeing even more apparent results over the next few months.

As for the review by Andrea King who is a vile individual with no understanding of manners or the law, and who inserted herself in our training session for absolutely no reason and gave her completely redundant two cents despite not having been asked, I would urge everyone to ignore it. Her comment is pretty much defamatory and gives a wholly inaccurate account of events whereby the whole issue arose when another individual's dog sauntered over to our training session while its owner came wobbling uselessly after it. Because Leander has a loud voice, the other individuals in what was clearly some sort of dog play group at the park misconstrued his behaviour as intimidating our dog. This is far from the case, as our dog is always pleased to see Leander and his two, perfectly trained dogs, and seems - Leander will know better than me here - to have bonded well with him.

We as a family cannot recommend Leander highly enough. We wholeheartedly hope that Ms King sees this review, and sticks to reviewing products and services she has actually paid for, rather than sticking her unwanted nose into other people's lives because her own life isn't entertaining enough for her.

Leander and the team have changed our lives. We were struggling with our beautiful Akita/Husky/Malamute mix for 2 years. He was loving, fun and adorable at home. But every time we took him out his aggressive reactivity towards other dogs and kids, made his and our dog walking enjoyment really hard.
When we met Lupine he hadn't been off lead (we walked him on a long-line) for 18 months and we had been through 2 other training companies at great expense with no change. He was a danger to himself and others.
I am a business coach and working with Lupine was a similar experience to that I give my clients. Rather than just sharing his expertise, Leander intuitively coached us on our fear around our dog's behaviour, showing us that this was the main issue keeping us in this circle of hell and how our dog's behaviour could change and would change permanently when we broke this fear cycle and other bad habits we'd got into as dog owners.
We worked with Lupine daily for 3 months to rehabilitate his behaviour and it was such a rewarding experience.
I now have a beautiful incredibly strong, once dangerous dog that walks and runs to heel with me daily Off-Lead 5-10kms in Hyde Park. And 98% of the time he demonstrates wanted behaviour. I'm assured by Lupine this is as good as it gets and in about three years I'll have the perfect canine relationship with my dog.
Leander has taught me to take responsibility for my dog's behaviour rather than blame him. Taught us to think like him and understand that his behaviour is predictable, as he is a dog and it's our job to lead and guide him, with this guidance he doesn't get it wrong. Leander and Lupine have helped us to create the most amazing dog that tours London and Europe with us and is welcome everywhere as his behaviour is impeccable.
It's my experience now that most of the dogs in London have issues, I see it daily. My advice get help, call these guys.

Horrifying experience with an archaic dog trainer, cruel and aggressive and completely unprofessional.
I strongly advise you look elsewhere before using this company

I have witnesses, several complaints have been made by local residents to both the police and EBC for the abusive behaviour by the trainer carrying out illegal activities in a public park fir which he has no permit to operate

Foul language indeed? from whom should we ask definitely not the person who complained about the disgusting way he was treating his clients dogs

Elmbridge Borough Council have never issued a permit for Lupine Canine to practice their cruel trade in any of their parks, enforcement officers are now patrolling and an injunction will be served if they continue with their practice.

As for LC s comments they are a disgraceful pack if lies because I commented on their training methods.
My impeccable behaviour is supported by park occupants and local householders who Levander threatened to get over railing and assault.
I was amazed as I thought it was just women and dogs who he felt confident enough to attack.

Now its time to ‘cease and desist’

My standard poodle puppy Phoenix (and I) trained with Ellie for 10 weeks. It has been a very positive experience for both of us. I would highly recommend training with Lupine Canine - its an investment in the future emotional well being of pet and owner. Phoenix adores Ellie and his sessions. He reacts well to boundaries, and is a happy and eager 6 month old.

LupineCanine and our trainer Felix provided an excellent service. From day 1, Frankie bonded with Felix and her transformation commenced (as did ours). After 5 weeks, Frankie is enjoying life as she should - stress free walks, off-lead adventures and positive interaction with other dogs and we are relaxed, not anxious owners.
Felix was a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of dog ownership - psychology, anatomy, necessary kit, nutrition, training techniques and common pit-falls. We are now confident with continuing the training and ensuring Frankie has the best life. We might even consider coming back to LupineCanine for the Advanced course as we know Frankie would love it.

We are the owners of a 4.5 years old female border collie that had some reactivity issues with people and other dogs.
We got in touch with Lupine Canine as a third attempt to learn how to deal with our beloved dog, after we had basically no results with two previous behaviourists.
From the first assessment to the last session, Felix - our trainer - and the rest of the Team at Lupine Canine provided us with all the guidance, tools and support we needed. Not only we've learnt how to deal with our dog properly, but we were also taught so much about what being a dog and owning a dog means - including some very precious lessons about behaviours, safety and health.
Eventually, we went from a dog that could not walk on a leash properly and would lunge at anything walking/running/driving past us, that would bark whenever someone was at the door and whenever we received the car, that would snap at people (men mostly) approaching her and go crazy at the sight of any dog, to a dog that heels perfectly and listen to commands 95% of the time, can say hello nicely to people and that - for the first in 3 years - is able to not only tolerate other dogs being around her, but also say hello and play with some of them as she did when she was younger.
We really can't thank and recommend Lupine Canine enough. They exceeded every expectation and made our lives ten times easier, and the bond between us a thousand times stronger.

In Felix Lupine Canine have a first-class trainer who helped our 2 year old collie-mix gain confidence, overcome her fears and learn some fun agility moves along the way.

When she joined the family, Laika was scared of traffic, terrified of the Tube and reactive to most things (prams, joggers, men carrying items, hi-vis clothing, loud noises, other dogs…). She would pull on the lead or escape from our garden at the slightest opportunity – an accident waiting to happen. Walking her was stressful for both the dog and handlers.
All this changed when we enrolled for the advanced obedience training with Lupin Canine. Felix instantly bonded with her and over 4 months (including Christmas & Covid breaks) helped us overcome the individual issues. Laika is now a completely different dog and a joy to take out on our many mini adventures.

Felix is engaging, very knowledgeable and a highly competent trainer of man and dog. He evidently truly cares for his clients and the wellbeing of the animals.

Now not a week goes by now without someone commenting positively on the obedience and agility skills of our dog.

Pedigree Canine helped bring back the love of dog ownership. Our GSD was around 18months when her recall and general obedience started to deteriorate And when coupled with reactivity to other dogs we realised that we had a problem. Several trainers and behaviourist later I got in touch with Leander and with hindsight it is the best phone call I made. I just wish I had called them earlier.

Leander the kennel master is like a dog whisperer. He is an encyclopaedia of dog knowledge. The way he interacts and bonds with dogs is magic but his passion and love of canines is plain to see.

We did the basic obedience and behaviour modification programme and after 3 months we have an obedient and balanced dog. Our relationship with the dog has never been stronger.

With pedigree canine the dog is taught but you as owners are also taught how to lead a pack with Leander and team going into dog psychology. I read lots of books before getting our pup but I wish I had just spoken to Leander.

The courses also cover nutrition, routine, vocalisation and leadership. I thought I knew how to raise a dog but I really did not.

The entire team is fantastic and special shout out to Felix and Tash who did a wonderful job with us too.

Leander has trained our street dog Maliniois Bella to advanced obedience level. She started in Jan 2019 and completed the training in May 2019. She is now a totally different dog... obedient, disciplined and calm. The change does not happen immediately and the consistency of approach is very important. This is helped by home stay boarding at the Pedigree Canine facility in Leatherhead when we go on holiday. Both dogs always come back relaxed and happy after their time staying with Leander. Leander will give you and your dog all the tools you need to succeed, you have to then consistently implement them. Training your dog with Leander is 100 pct worth it.

Only a week or two in and have seen massive positive changes already, making my life a load easier!

Leander is an excellent trainer. Our dobie adores him and I he has helped her to grow from a strong-headed puppy to a mature obedient and perfect family dog for us, including close-protection. 🐕 We are still training Alice with Leander once a week.👌🏼

Leander is passionate and professional in his approach. We highly recommend him. Attila loves Leander which you can see from him waiting by the door before training with his tail waging feverishly. We have been working with Pedigree Canine since our dog Attila was 2 months old. Leander has not only helped us with training but has guided us though behavior issues. He goes above and beyond by sorting out Attila’s health problems. He early detected a serious allergy issue and worked tirelessly to ensure it was resolved. Potty training was a breeze with his method. At 8 months old he has trained Attila to go potty on command. Not only does he work with the dog, but he also works with you on how to handle/train your dog. The life style we want with our dog is to take him everywhere with us. We are able to do that because of Leander. We have taken Attila all over London and the UK, crowded trains, buses, friend’s houses and crowded parks with picnics/kids playing football. Everywhere we go we get compliments on how amazingly well behaved Attila is in a chaotic environment. We highly recommend Leander for any training and boarding.
