Good vacuum with very good suction and “simple” build. Glad to have it. A v2.0 could make it the best vacuum you can buy. Two big fixes needed: anti-hair clog roller, and rework the handheld / attachment system (which is really too complicated and lacking).

Such a great service when I ordered new parts. Love my Lupe & have used it constantly. I have long hair which has always been a problem for me with vaccums - not with Lupe though so easy to remove.

Actually more like a 3.5(+) rating. Liked the concept and mechanically superior in some ways to Dyson. But at the end of the day, did not work well with attach. on carpeted stairs (note: we have dogs). We do not have any carpet, but many low-pile rugs (~3500 sqft). The design requires that you fight the vacuum on the short pile rugs. Too easily tiring the operator. Hose & attach. too short & under-powered. Cannot see dirt accumulation in canister (& it accumulates towards the top causing issues). Seemed like this was more of a beta test than ready for prime time. My wife prefers the V11 Dyson.

Unit seems to work well but hair and fuzzy particles get trapped up any filter and don't dump out even though the dirt compartment has only small amounts collected.

I was completely surprised and delighted by the power this lightweight machine had. I have been looking for a good vacuum for a long time. It transtitions from hard wood floors to rugs without any effort.

I got the vacuum in a reasonable, timely manner. Although my vacuum had a missing screw with the handle and the connecting clip. It was tough to explain, but I emailed them with a video, and they got back to me within the business days. James Hick was very helpful with figuring out how to help me. I was given a new handle for no charge. Very thankful for the help and attention to what was missing. Vacuum is excellent at picking up dust and trash. I would recommend it. Good customer service and good quality vacuum.

purchase was easy, but shipment cost is like sending to Jupiter. you need EU seller, not UK, this compilcates teh things...

Service was quick and reliable even though there had been some mix up and I wasn't in the system even though I was a Kickstarter supporter of this project. Quick delivery as well considering I'm in Canada.

I would rate 5 if there is a quick response to the emails and also, the upholstery tool is too small for vaccuming the stairs. It would be great to add a wider tool especially useful for carpeted stairs, its especially helpful when we have so many stairs in the house. Last time I used my small upholstery tool on my stairs, I had a sore back.

I'm so happy with our new Lupe vacuum! It was easy to assemble and is easy to maneuver around our small apartment. I have dustmite allergies and I've already noticed a big improvement to our indoor air quality while cleaning. I love the Lupe model of durability and replaceable parts. I work in the sustainability field and this is the first new purchase I've felt good about in a long time.

Shipped very quickly. I packaged so beautifully. I love how easy it is to assemble. I bought this to replace the V11 dyson cordless because after 2 years of hard use the cannister is broken and would require a completely new vacuum because the parts are not replaceable.
I love how it stands on its own. I love how versatile it is. 1 battery has been plenty to clean my whole main floor and basement.
I have 2 golden retrievers and it easily keeps up with them and 2 kids.

The replacement parts I ordered does not fit the unit I purchased 2021.

It's a great vacuum. Can do the whole house on one battery. The upright with short hose format is super usable. No cord and no tools that aren't on the machine to go fetch makes cleaning so much quicker. The bin is larger, easier and cleaner to empty than my previous Dyson. The Lupe cleans way better too.
Update 21/01/23: I when it first arrived I noticed what looked like a minor manufacturing defect with the bin. I thought it was only cosmetic and continued to use it. After 2 months I realised it was clinging onto hair inside the bin making it harder to empty. I sent a message and photo to the help chat and although we seemed out of sync with replies, I was sent a new bin within a week! Brilliant!!

Phenomenal vacuum. I was highly skeptical because I've been using Dysons for over 10 years, and I'm now a convert. I regularly have to vacuum up large bits of cat litter (pine pellets) which the Dysons would only push around. The Lupe just devours everything in sight. I don't even know what a MkII version of this would look like, it already does everything I'd ever want a vacuum to, it just works.

No written warranty provided. I requested a printable warranty via their website email account and have never received a response in two weeks. I am pleased with the vacuum and my only complaint with the equipment is that it doesn't have a light on the front. I was convinced they were a reputable company but if they don't respond to emails and they won't provide a written warranty with their product, it certainly leaves doubts. For a $499 product, I certainly expected better.

Overall this is a great vacuum. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, goes under most furniture. It’s incredibly versatile since it breaks down to a hand held vacuum with great attachments. Does great on carpet and hard floor. I have 5 dogs in the house I live in so I need a good vacuum. This handles dog hair great. The vacuum is also Incredibly easy to maintain and maintenance. The dust bin breaks down and cleans out easy. It’s also easy to empty with no funky latch or switch from some weird angle. Just press the button and empty. The battery life is good on medium and low power. High power… well it’s high power. And the vacuum puts out a lot of it on high so don’t wait around when using the vacuum on high cause you will at best get 16 minutes on high power. But for most uses medium is more than acceptable. Also every part on this vacuum is replaceable and the parts are very well priced! So my biggest issues with the vacuum are these: the suction intake hole in the floor head between the two brushes, is rather small and tucked in a bit so larger debris tends to sometimes get stuck in between the brushes on medium or low power. High power I have t had any issues with this. Another problem I have is the absence of some kind of led light on the front. For carpet it doesn’t matter much but on hard floor, having some kind of light on the floor or when you go underneath furniture just makes seeing and getting the dust on the floor better since then you know you got it. A few nit picks I can think of are the material of the front brush is susceptible to being cut or slashed if you have any sharp objects poking out of the floor like the tip of a nail or something. One caught and made a small tear in the brush. Nothing that affected its ability to pull debris into the head but it’s worth mentioning. Also the regular brush roll that’s inside the head is susceptible to hair tangle but because it’s super easy to remove the brushes with just a quarter it’s not a big deal or hard to clean. If any of these issues or nit picks are deal breakers then I would look elsewhere but if not then I really can’t recommend this vacuum enough. I’ve tried just about every vacuum you can think of in the past year as I haven’t found one that works for my needs till this one. I love it and look forward to years of using it.
