Fast, thorough & knowledgeable

Very happy with the Wollongong team, Chris in particular. My Merc suddenly started sounding like a 2-stroke leaf blower and my mechanic couldn't take a look for 2 weeks. Chris arrived next day, found the failed hose in 5 mins and ordered, fitted and tested it in 24 hours. Major damage and expense averted.

Lube Mobile Mechanics the best in the business

I recently used Lube Mobile Mechanics for a logbook service and I was extremely impressed with the experience from start to finish. The service was prompt, professional, and very efficient. Everything was handled smoothly and with great attention to detail.
A special mention to Rustin, the technician who assisted me. He was very professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable in his work. He approached the job with confidence and efficiency, quickly identifying the issue and resolving it without any hassle. His professionalism and positive attitude made the whole experience stress-free.
It’s not always easy to find reliable service these days, but Lube Mobile Mechanics certainly delivered. I truly appreciate the high level of service provided and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a dependable logbook service.

Faulty or Dirty EGR

I took the day off on Friday 29th Jan and booked a Lube mobile appointment.
$99 call out and the first 15 minutes free.
I told the 2 gents who came out the problem with the EGR.
I asked if it could be taken out and cleaned or just replace it.
After 15 minutes of them looking at engine numbers, bin number and so on, they used the scanner and it told them exactly what I had already told them.
They said this could take a while to get out and they pointed to we’re the EGR was located.
I told them not to worry about it and I will pull it out my self.
Being a business owner of the last 26years, it seemed to me that they only wanted to justify the $99 call out fee.
My company will not use Lube monbile again.
Beware punters.

Someone could have died

Had a clutch replacement undertaken in December 2025. The next day severe scraping noises forced me to take the car off the road immediately.

Critical Safety Issue:
BOTH front axle nuts were completely loose after their service. This could have caused a catastrophic accident to myself or other road users. Completely unacceptable from any mechanical service provider.

Three Failed Repair Attempts:
Lube Mobile attended three separate times but couldn't complete repairs because they "didn't have the parts" My car remained undriveable for an extended period due to this.

Additional Issues:

- Mechanic used a removed wheel from my vehicle as a step ladder whilst car was on jack stands to look into the engine bay
- Vehicle panel damage, incorrectly jacked up the car and broke several panel clips and popped the panel from its flush position
- Extended loss of vehicle use

Company Response:
After the loose axle nuts and three failed repair visits, they offered a "free yearly service" as compensation. I declined and raised formal concerns because who wants the same mechanics to continue to work on their car after this?

Their response: scheduled an "inspection," and then performed unauthorised work without permission, then claimed "all reasonable obligations have been met" with zero acknowledgement of the safety failure.

Bottom Line:
Loose axle nuts on both wheels after a clutch service is inexcusable. Three visits with missing parts to fix their own dangerous mistake is unacceptable. Their dismissive response to legitimate safety concerns shows complete failure of professional standards and a lack of accountability.

Will never use Lube Mobile again. Strongly caution others before trusting them with your families safety and the maintenance of your vehicle.

A mechanic came in to service two of my…

A mechanic came in to service two of my cars on a Friday morning . I handed over the keys after exchanging pleasantries and went back to the house.

Within one hour, there was a knock on the front door and I met a totally different person and I was a bit confused as to why he was there in the first place. He went ahead to explain that one of my cars had a leaking radiator and plugs that required $2000 to replace. I asked for more time to think through it as he was able to confirm that the second car was okay and I could use it in the meantime. The first mechanic then mentioned that the last service did not tighten up something correctly and that he had corrected the issue to avoid further oil leakage.***FYI the last service and Mechanic was from their company.

I drove the car on the subsequent Sunday for 76kms and on Monday for about 38kms before the car started jerking and the engine running out of power(weakened acceleration) . I called their offices and a mechanic was dispatched to my location which was 38kms away from home.

The mechanic then came in a booked the car in for towing and said “The guy who serviced your car messed it” I have organised for towing and repair and confirmed that I would not incur any expenses.

They they sent the same second guy who came to my house and it was easy to tell that it’s the person who comes in for these kind of situations and he was there to push back. He cancelled the towing as he was asking for atleast $900 to fix the issue. He told me
That my issue is that “ The are old cars” painfully taken on the chin as I have a near funatical sentimental value for my cars. They were not old when I booked them in for service and now they are old after they messed up both the radiators?
I towed the car at a cost of $400 and now waiting for an official dealer to help out.

I saw common sense type inconsistencies but they could hear none of it- my partner wondered out loud how we could have a whole leakage in the radiator with nil spillage on the driveway where I park the car every day.

My quest for cheap and convenient has turned out to be super-costly and CHEAP!

They appear to be having sales targets for further mechanical works with zero regard for the peace of mind that they have attached to their sales pitch.

Buyer Beware!!!!?

Great service for both the car and customer!

Being able to book in and have them come out same day was perfect for my busy, ever changing work schedule.
Carl arrived on-time and explained what would happen and how long he expected to take, he was super efficient and talked me through what needed to be done as well as some options moving forward to keep my car running smoothly.
Would absolutely recommend and will be using Lube Mobile again!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time i,ve used lube mobile and was very pleased with the workmanship of the mechanic who came to service my car, i found Ruan,van w24 very polite and answered all my questions , i will be using lube mobile again to fix some minor issues that were shown to me that need attention,was vefy happy with the price of my service considering they came to me 👍🤗

APPALLING SERVICE

Appalling service.I had to call and talk to Rob the Manager as the technician did not even show , call, or text. Rob the manager stated there was a technical error with my contact number one digit different as to no contact. I found that interesting as I received prior confirmations via text and email to my device through the booking system.Rob the manager also stated the technician had finished early on the prior job and could not make contact. I also found this interesting as the system had all my booking and contact details correct.
Customer service absolutely appalling.
Place yourself in my position with all confirmed booking details correct and not even the technician to reach out to the Lubemobile office to say no contact here. Even though the details were correct in the system and on hand readily available.I will say it again one last time " Appalling Service"

We have engaged Hafiz to oversee the fleet of hospital vehicles he is fantastic. He is prompt, thorough and works with us to service and sort the tyres for the fleet when the vehicles are available. BMW 335i N54. Twin Turbo

I'd just like to provide feedback regarding the work Louis did on my e94 BMW 335i.

The car would misfire and go straight into "limp mode" any time I forcefully accelerated.

The BMW dealer suggested it was the fuel injectors (apparantly they nearly always fail after 100k miles or so and need to be updated to index12's.

Cost $1200 EACH ! That's before any installation charges!

The other error message indicated the high pressure fuel pump. Another expensive item and tricky to replace.

I saved some money by buying from FCP Euro but what I didn't know was that local BMW dealers would not do the job! (something about guaranteeing the parts).

* My experience with LUBE Mobile (who I must confess I was at first dubious about their ability to work on BMW'S and not knowing much about them. )

1/ They suggested they decarbonise the engine first in case this was the problem. Came round next day, SATURDAY!
Did the job but it didn't fix it. The mechanic said that if I get them to do the job they would credit me the cost of the carbon clean. Nice one.

2/ Once the parts arrived from the USA I booked the job. I was quoted a very reasonable price PLUS the rebate on top.

3/ The mechanic's name was Louis and he came to my house and did the job in the driveway. All good except I had accidentally thrown away the small attachments that came with them.

(Above and beyond) Louis rang BMW checked they had the stock and got the price. He left and returned the next day and completed the job. NO extra charge!!

Unfortunately this did not remedy the problem but at least I had the latest injectors which I would've needed soon enough.

4/ Next I purchased a High Pressure Fuel Pump from FCP again and took it to Lube Mobile's garage where Louis installed it. (again at a very reasonable price)
This time it seemed to run much better but when I floored it it misfired and then seem to run on 5 cylinders until a restart)

I rang Louis again, he came around and ran the fault finder. This time it indicated a fault with cylinder 5.
I'd replaced all my spark plugs and coils when the intial fault had occurred and it turns out one of the coils had a loose cap.

PROBLEM FIXED!
and
NO CHARGE!!

I was flabbergasted and most grateful.
By the way, Louis was driving from Gawer to Unley to do my car and what a nice guy he truly is on top of being a gun mechanic.

Dodgy inspections, no attention to details.

Not sure how is lube mobile across the country but my experience was Terrible, wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Dodgy AS ! At least the ones in WA, Perth region. I was living in a small town there in the country side and found the car I wanted in Mandurah, a city far away from mine. I was in the process of moving houses, moving states and that's one of the reasons I needed that car. I don't have a lot of knowledge about cars and it was too far away for me, hence I hired lube mobile. This "mechanic" called Ryan went over to the car yard to do the inspection. Sent me video of the car running, said everything was ok. I Decided to trust them , after all I paid almost $300 for a simple car inspection. Next day I was there, just to pick it up as I believed the car was in good condition and I was in a rush. In the next days , I realised I had bought a partially broken car. I had to jump start the car every day as the battery was faulty and wouldn't charge. Left headlight, fans, ceiling lights, radio, receiver , battery, all faulty and not working. Fenders falling off like that car had been in a major accident but got redone. Parts had been welded back. Anyway, lots of issues. When I called this "mechanic" , he completely ignored me and never answered my calls and messages. After a while, I decided to call the company and told them about my case and that I was unhappy with the service and would like a refund at least. Only then this "mechanic" decided to reply to me. Told him about all the problems the car had. He insisted that these problems were not there when he did the inspection. So, when he did the inspection, everything was working well and one day later all these problems just suddenly appeared?! I told him I had to spend more than $1000 on the car to fix those issues and had all the receipts for them and could show/send them to him or lube mobile to get my refund. His excuse was that he trust his work and the company trusts him so those problems never really existed, but they had been there all the time. Asked for the refund, obviously I was ignored. Anyway, I had to trust some people to buy the right car for me and for my delicate situation and all I got was people screwing me over. First By coastal cars co. In Mandurah and then by lube mobile, who guaranteed to me the car was in good condition. Obviously it was not and it let me down on my trip, making me having to spend huge amounts of money with something I shouldn't have. I will never use this service again nowhere in Australia and wouldn't recommend to anyone as it just gave extra expenses and are definitely not reliable...

Tried to charge us $2,500 for something that didn't need fixing at all

We used Lube Mobile to help us change our break pads and replace a tire. Half an hour into the service they claimed we needed our entire suspension replaced and that they were appalled that the previous mechanic (who had just performed an annual service) had missed this since it was so dangerous. He said it would cost around $2,500 and kept pushing me to go ahead with it saying they take after pay. I refused to go ahead as I wanted to get the previous mechanics opinion. We took it to them the next day and they said nothing was wrong with the car or suspension that would make it dangerous to drive and that nothing needed to be immediately fixed.

Amazing service will have you back on the road.

I received excellent service on the telephone and was able to be served by Ian from the Canberra store who came to our house within 90 minutes and quickly diagnosed the car problem. repaired and had us on our way, which was amazing. I thought the call out fee was very reasonable and Ian was a pleasure to work with.

Road Trip preparation

We just had Sidney out from Lube Mobile to get our car repaired for a trip to Melbourne. Our usual mechanic let us down at the last minute but Sidney was able to squeeze us in and worked very hard to get the work done before we went away. He explained everything to us and was very easy to deal with. He is very knowledgeable. Much appreciated
