Used to be a 3 mobile costumer many years ago. Recently I Started to receive letters from Lowell regarding a 3 mobile debt. (I didn’t have any debt) The name on the letter is very similar to mine and has my address, so I opened by mistake, Also There was no one with this name ever at this address. Fraudulent people!!

I first got a Vanquis card in 2017…
I first got a Vanquis card in 2017 Lowell are absolutely corrupt they make out they have had no payments from myself and my dad as he dad nearly 5 years this year. They sent me a letter saying I owed £300 I sent them proof of payments and now they have the audacity to say I owe the full balance of my credit card when I definitely do not. These people are liars they have bullied me when I am ill and going through hospital tests they make me sick to my stomach. I have had this since 2021 after my dad died as soon as I applied for a mortgage horrible Lowell rear their lying heads yet again and deliberately screw it up. I don’t want anything to do with this company I would give them no stars they absolutely disgust me the fact they have now sent two letters one for £300 and the other for £540 so the full balance when i don’t even owe it. I find it atrocious that I show proof with payments yet these bloody idiots excuse me of more I have literally had enough of these lying incompetent people and I am now taking legal action they know what I am going to do through and yet they still continue to to harass and bully me it is called disability discrimination. I have not putting up with it any longer.

This company took a charging order out on my property
The debt was paid in monthly instalments

However I have received a letter from there parent company Overdales saying I owe the original debt
Lowell’s never removed the charging order or sent me notice of completion of the debt
However I have all bank statements to prove this has been payed
Watch out for legal action against Lowell’s and Overdales for fraud
I have now received a request for further info on the 17th February 2026 and have responded on the same day
If you require further information I suggest you contact your pet solicitors with the case Number provided they have my email address home address etc as all communication must be in writing no phone calls will be acceptable
A response from yourselves is required within 7 working days
This company has contacted myself again saying they have handed this to there partner company Overdales and I am to deal with them
Neither company will answer my questions to prove that this debt has been paid and is a complete scam as I have bank statements to prove this has been paid and is
I have requested all the data held by this company under the freedom of information act but not convinced I will ever receive it as they both continue with this scam
However the relavant authorities have been informed and this all points to FRUAD

They are bully
They are bully. They aim to obtain monies by harassing, bulling and mental pressure. They keep telling people that they can legally do this but they are lying. Check the validity of their right on government websites. You can sue them privately via money claim on line. Do not let them to intimate you. They were trying to obtain monies form me for debts that were past its limitation and kept doing so for. I am beginning a private prosecution and will let a judge to hear it all.

Serious concerns about inaccurate default, ignored correspondence, and lack of investigation
I’m raising this review because I’ve experienced significant issues with Lowell’s handling of an account they purchased from PayPal/Moorcroft.
Lowell added a default to my credit file for a PayPal Pay in 3 agreement — a product that PayPal does not report to credit reference agencies and does not default under the Consumer Credit Act. Before Lowell purchased the account, I had an active repayment plan with Moorcroft, and payments were being made. Despite this, Lowell:
registered a default that never existed with the original creditor,
backdated the default to a time when they did not own the debt,
failed to reconcile payments already made to Moorcroft,
and provided no evidence that a default notice was ever issued.
I contacted Lowell multiple times with detailed information, including emails and a recorded‑delivery letter. Their only reply was a generic message claiming they had already issued a “final response” in December — a response I never received — and they have ignored every subsequent email I’ve sent asking them to address the inaccuracies.
I’ve since learned that many other customers have raised similar concerns about PayPal accounts being defaulted incorrectly after being sold to Lowell. This appears to be a wider pattern, not an isolated case.
Given the lack of investigation, the failure to respond properly, and the serious impact this inaccurate default has had on my employment and mortgage process, I’ve now escalated the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Information Commissioner’s Office.
I would welcome a proper review of my case, but so far Lowell has not engaged with the evidence I’ve provided.

An alleged debt close to 20 years old…
An alleged debt close to 20 years old which was confirmed in writing as not ours. They ignored the letters so phone call requesting them to back off as its not our debt and no knowledge as nothing on credit file etc and they claim it won't go away unless its paid. Have formally written to them requesting them to leave us alone as any alleged debt is stature barred and the despite the lack of any supporting documentation provided by them they continue to ignore this so now reported to the FSA for possible fraudulent practices.

Elendig services, nu er de begyndt at svindle sælger gammel gæld efter Skifteretten godkender Gældssanering sidste år, 11-1-2026,modtog jeg to breve, hvor de oplyser de har solgt gælden til Irland, den går ikke, da jeg har fået omtalte Gældssanering godkendt sidste år ,og de var informeret, håber de kan finde nogle penge, de har skudt sig selv i foden 😅.
Et svindle firma der kradser penge ind for Danske bank, tak for Kaffe, de er fuld af plat og svindel det går den vej Hønsene hakker, Staten glemmer ikke, de får en over næsen forhåbentlig, da det er Skifteretten i Randers der har godkendt omtalte Gældssanering!

They get hold of your phone number by illegal means, breaking Data protection laws doing so. Paying for phone number lists obtained illegally from Dark Web hackers.
Ask them where they obtained your phone number from...they won't be able to answer you, because it's been obtained illegally.
Each and every person working for crooks like these should be behind bars.

You haven't answered a single question all you have are accusations of payment and claims that you're rated 5 stars but I go online and its 1 star, all of which are the same experiences that I am having to deal with due to your incompetence, you're previous email was on a no reply email of a receipt that as I am aware I yes I have already paid yes PAID with no actual information just "here are the receipts you asked for" I asked not for receipts but for reason, until you actually communicate like an actual company I am only to believe this is some kind of fear mongering scam!

Throughout the duration of your hold on my debt, I have not received any correspondence or communication from you.
This statement is contradictory because I have been under review for the past 20 years and have had to pay every penny to meet your strict criteria.
Now when I wanted to repay you, you're still maintaining the right to delve further into 'my business'.
You proposed a counter offer of 40% in real figures from £1159.18 > 695.51 before granting me the redemption figure offer that was rejected at 60%.
Even adding a pound to launch the one-time payment for closing the account.
It is fortunate that I am not going through the Ombudsman to discuss this matter further, as every agency that purchased this original debt outstanding has earned a profit for the past 20 years to date.
It took me 5 phone calls of which 2 were wasted on the bot.
Blocking customer service agent and 3 attempted calls to deal with this stressful situation.
The 1st agent refused to give redemption figure because I would not answer more personal reasons for discharging the debt.
And sent me an email generic link detail which my bank did'nt recognise as 'Lowell' and should of been 'Lowell Portfolio Ltd'.
The 2nd put forward my proposal of 60% which was countered with your offer of 40% even though I pointed out that by paying today would shave off four more years of carring a noose round my neck for the past 20 years.
The third lost call and the fourth managed to trace the lines of the other 3. After repeated q'ns contrary to 2nd agt proposal to direct debit one off payment I was invited to sacrifice another £ 1.00 to make the payment over the phone which failed three times.

Harassing people protected by the law.
This company harasses people that are protected by Mental Health Crisis Breathing spaces and Debt Relief orders.
Then their Call centre staff in South Africa demand the details of the mental health crisis, in my case witnessing a murder, , she needed this for my “financial wellbeing”.
I told her they do not have my consent to retain details of my mental crisis only the fact that there has been one in place.
She refused. I quoted GDPR, she says GDPR doesn’t apply to them.
How sick is this?
Definitely getting a copy of the call and under GDPR subject access request and sending it to the papers.
Considering a Protection from harassment Act 1999 , action.
