Met Stuart Turnbull at the NEC show in Feb this year where he was very attentive and knowledgeable even though he did not have the campervan model we wanted at the show he had one back at Lowdhams so a deal was struck 👍
Excellent customer service nothing was a problem for them and our purchase was made simple. Excellent handover of our brand new campervan from Shirley who could answer all our questions so a fantastic team effort from order to delivery big thanks to all we are very satisfied 😊

A model for every other motorhome/caravan/vehicle seller to aspire to.
I don't know how they do it, but every member of the Lowdhams team are happy, welcoming and cannot do enough to help. They aren't there to sell you anything, the products do that themselves. They are there to advice, guide and support you whether you are just looking or are in the position to buy. We have looked around dozens of garages for a campervan and Lowdhams stood out by a mile. Is definately worth travelling to it. Our Lowdhams support was Stuart T. Right from the start he was helpful, informative and most importantly non pushy. Took his time and helped us in every way he could. The whole experience was a pleasure and I am going to really miss the place now we have our van! It feels like a family once you are there, from the warm welcome to the friendly handover at the end, every part of the process was perfect. Thank you to Stuart for being so patient...and to Shelley for showing us 'the ropes' on new purchase. We truly felt very much part of your team.

We brought our first van in September and were over the moon with the purchase! Took it out local for the first time this weekend so we are ready for our Long break down south in a few months. Well no central heating would work in the van on the alde system rang the service engineer and he basically told me what I already knew it doesn’t work!! And would need to be taken in to lowdhams after sales and should expect a call Monday morning.Monday morning passed so I rang late afternoon they had know idea of the problem and were in no rush to do anything! The lady on the phone said I’ll put it on system! Still waiting now to hear! Not great to say we spent our weekend with young children freezing!! Disappointed that this hasn’t been booked in already to say it’s a boiler issue and all safety should be compliant , to say I’ve worked in the heating industry 11 years I should know !

We have bought from Lowdhams before and always had amazing service. This time didn’t disappoint either. Our salesperson was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and got us the best price for our old caravan. There is a great range of new and used caravans as well which made it harder for us to choose but we did buy our perfect new caravan.
We were kept updated for each stage of the purchase.
Would definitely recommend Lowdhams in Nottingham.

We’re do I start….
Swift Kon-Tiki 774
An extremely disappointing experience from the word go on a new £100,000.00 plus vehicle.
Handed over with loose and damage on several interior panels, dealer failed to inspect the vehicle correctly before handover and sending out.
Loose and missing fixing all around.
Missing standard parts
Water leaks from poorly fitted parts.
Dealer makes promises that weren’t fulfilled.
Dealer service technicians have zero respect while working around and inside customers vehicles which are new and expensive.
Left with dirty marks inside by technicians on carpets that weren’t covered or removed before commencing any repairs inside and damage to vehicle where work has been undertaken outside.
6mth down the line still waiting for warranty repairs..
Dealer lies about status of claims
Call request from DP by myself, no call as yet, clear management skills lacking.
Had to use third party supplier to fix electrical faults caused by the dealer
Very poor build quality from factory with parts falling off in transit. Manufacturer (Swift) not interested in issues raised.
Experience of purchase and ownership 6ths on is one of why did I buy this vehicle.
£100,000.00 of over priced garbage.
Wouldn’t buy from the dealer lowdhams again or even a swift vehicle,
As been a Kontiki that’s meant to be one off there top motorhome models isn’t at a standard that is worth the money, cheep and poorly fitted interior trim plastics, very poor driving experience.
Vehicle of this size should run air suspension as standard, as the vehicle sprung suspension isn’t adequate for its weight and for smooth handling.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Handover with old and new van was seamless. Very informative handover to new van. Loved the fact that you can pitch there to ensure everything is ok. Our executive sales rep Caroline was amazing and patient as I had forgotten some paperwork. Would recommend this dealership

I’ve been waiting since November 2025 for a number of warranty issues, to be rectified.
I took my van in last Tuesday and after waiting five (5) hours, I was told that they didn’t have time to do the work.
I’ve been informed today, that the earliest they can look at my van is 20th April, and it may take up to three or four days.
We missed out of a family get together at Christmas because the heater didn’t work and we were booked to go away this Easter, which we have now had to cancel.
Very disappointed because emails and messages are ignored.

Barry also did are handover, he was very thorough and took his time to explain everything to us.we can only praise are experience with Lowdhams and extremely happy with are purchase

We have used Lowdhams for many years so can say with confidence how wonderful it is to be treated with a team that care and understand our every need without oversell pressure that can be seen out there. Bryan in caravan sales is the one we would like to thank again for his patience and support, with his involvement we now have our fitted out Swift 560 all set to go for 2026.
Anyone reading this please give Lowdhams a visit even if it’s just for a cup of Beanies coffee you will not be disappointed.

Went into Lowdhams to buy a chair and came out with a new motorhome. The attention we got from Graham was excellent, he was not pushy and the price given for our old van was better than expected. Overall an Lowdhams gave us an excellent service and well recommended.

Lowdhams generally is a great place to view and buy a motorhome or campervan.
However, our fourth purchase from them was a little disappointing. The Swift campervan (Carerra 184 special edition) advertised with an awning did not have the awning fitted on collection. Apparently, we were told previously, this was an error by the advertising dept and our model didn’t have an awning. However, we were assured by the salesperson (more than once) that our campervan would include an awning. On collection day, there was no awning! To add insult to injury, the awning was not in stock and on a back order of four weeks.
We were also asked for paperwork for our part exchange vehicle which we had already given them! (Annoying)
Showing us the features on our camper van was done very thoroughly but the overall handover experience was underwhelming. OK, you’re doing handovers everyday, but to us it was a very special day and it was disappointing that the Lowdhams salesperson showed very little interest in the actual handover. Also it would have been nice to have a picture taken as most other people seemed to have experienced. One other suggestion to Lowdhams, as the icing on the cake and as an appreciation to each customer to make their handover day even more memorable, would be some small token like a bottle of wine or hamper. This is being offered by some competitors and its minimal cost

From first viewing through to collection Phil Howard gave us time to look, think and discuss, provided helpful information, and our questions were answered clearly.
At no time did we feel under pressure and the negotiation of the deal was relaxed and constructive. The showroom environment was comfortable with separate areas for different customers.
We had flexibility over the collection date, and having the opportunity to stay over on the rally field on collection day was really helpful as we were able to pop in and ask about a couple of things we needed clarification on.
The collection process was very well organised, with everything ready and waiting for us, with the heating on and the caravan aired ready for use. The technicians were able to fit some jack pads for us, adjust the door closing and transfer our Flogas adapter - and all done with a smile. It felt like nothing was too much trouble to ensure we were happy with our new caravan.
We wouldn't hesitate to buy from Lowdham Leisureworld again in the future, and based on our experience would be happy to recommend them to others.

If I could give negative stars I would. Sales great but once they have your money they couldn’t care less. We’ve been waiting since June 2025 for them to sort our numerous issues with a brand new motorhome to no avail. You are supposed to get called back. Yeah, right, I wish. I would not recommend and nor would I ever buy another motorhome from them. An absolute disgrace.
We have now had a reply from Lowdhams who are looking at resolving our issues so a thank you to them. I will update later once resolved.
