Do not buy anything from this cowboy! We bought a mini for our daughters 18th. The next day the electrics on the dashboard didn't work, so you couldn't see the indicators etc, we contacted them straight away as we had a 3 month warranty. The response just give the car back. My response, no just fix the car. He then went on radio silence, and not responding to emails. We have ended up paying over a thousand pounds to rectify the electrics, the radiator which already had radseal in it, the thermostat, the wheel bearings and the list goes on. We will be taking him to court and have made other organizations aware of this business!

Still no car 3 years later he has 3 grand of our money.

Anyone fancy a trip to his business?

I see his changed his name to Charles aswell as company name and logo his name was Tim and stolen from us too. Legally bailiffs can't do anything about a name change so I'll take some people up there and get it back my self

Like all of the other reviews, I put down a deposit in a mini, I was told that it needed a new mot put on it and it would be ready in a week or so, weeks passed with no updates so I called Charles to be told that he needed to get parts in to get it through its mot, again weeks passed without any update so I called again, Charles said that everything was done and the mini would be delivered to me in a few days.
Delivery day arrived, the agreed time came and went, no show of the car, hours later I got a call from Charles to say the mini was no longer available and he would give me a refund, no apologies what so ever.
I was gutted, I wasted so much time putting trust in this con man, I also wasted money buying accessories for the mini.

I have now got a beautiful mini park lane from a private seller……love my mini.

Do whatever you can to stay away from this place!! Charles (the owner) is dishonest and have never once kept his word. I wish I did my research better so if you read this avoid this place.
I bought the car and it needed to go back to him three times but it was never prioritized and never did he keep a timeline. Once he gets your money he doesn't care anymore. Last time car went in he wanted to get paid even though all should been part of the warranty. Find another dealership - you do not want to deal with Charles.

Wish I could give 1 star! Customer service via text started off very poor, questions not answered and basic information provided. Called to ensure we could see the car. Turned up after an hour+ drive to find the car had just been sold. Was talked over with aggression when we reacted to this waste of time and given the excuse that they have customers all over the place. Tried to sell us another car. We walked away. I was told before showing up that I could not take the car away with me as the car has a new MOT out on yet we couldn't see the car we went to see. All looks very bogus!

Charles is his name the owner, but on gumtree the name is 'mark' very confusing.

he is awfully polite, yet in my opinion thats just a front. to reel you in.

he obfuscates consistently.

why ?

the sale price depends on whom turns up, if its a lone woman like me, the price is high, if its my brother, its 300.00 lower! same car.!

i have read countless reviews of this company, and all are bad.

he puts up an outdated ebay reviews photo on his adverts, ALL the cars have the number plates convinently out of picture.

the review photo from ebay once examined , is one year old, none of the cars on his ebay are sold recently. please check the ebay sale dates!

the last car he sold on ebay was 12 months ago.

the positive reviews he puts on ebay are as a ' buyer'

so its for things he has bought NOT sold.

my brother has called 6 times none returned.

when you try to confront him about his inconsistences in an advert, guess what his line is ?

if you buy a car from this chap Charles, use your credit card, if there is a problem, claim your money back on a section 75.

never buy with cash ! never!

Please avoid this place! I bought a car in April (it took me over a month to receive it at first, because he’s “so busy” and is working on it). It breaks down a couple weeks later and they take it in to fix it. Maybe a month or so later it breaks down again (same problem), and they take it in to fix it again. In early November the engine oil light comes on, so we park the car and call them. They say they don’t have time to take it in until Jan 3rd. You would think they should prioritise it since it’s the third time it broke down and two of those times it was the same problem, so obviously they didn’t fix it right. It’s now Jan 6th and we took the car down there ourselves on Jan 2nd so he could start working on it straight away. We go there two days later to check if he’s started working on it, and he says he checked it and that it was just the sensor that was bugging, but that he needed to test drive it before to be sure, and that he’d call later in the afternoon. He obviously doesn’t call back so we call back, and he said he didn’t have time to drive it so he would do it first thing in the morning the next day. It’s the next day now and he said he took it for a drive and that he just needed to check it again to make sure it’s fine and that he’ll call in the next hour. Two hours later we call him because he obviously didn’t call back. He says he found something wrong and that he’ll be in touch tomorrow. One could think he’d have found this problem when checking it the first time two days ago? He just keeps wasting our time and lies. Save your time and go somewhere else!! Hopefully he fixes it this time so I can get it back, as I have my driving test in 1 month and haven’t been able to drive the car since early November. We tried telling him that he either fixes it or buys it back from us for the same price, but he said he’d fix it. I don’t know how much I trust him now that he’s supposedly “fixed it” twice already but it still isn’t right

Wish there was an option for zero stars. Charles is an absolute con man - don’t fall for it. You’ll be screwed over by this waste of space. Whatever he’s trading as, Londonmini, Sinclair Cars etc just avoid at all costs. I bought a mini from him and paid a deposit, he said he’d put it through a service and fix anything in the price I’d paid, I’d get the car in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I’d heard nothing from him so messaged him and he gave a bunch of excuses. Another week, more excuses, he told me that it was in the service department and would be ready in 2 days… SIX WEEKS later I had enough and went to the garage. The car was sat in exactly the same spot covered in cobwebs and dirt and hadn’t moved. He reluctantly gave me a refund but no apology, no reasoning just a dirty attitude. How he’s still running this business I have no idea! DO NOT BUY FROM HIM!

Again I echo the below reviews this is a con man he changed the name of the company and websites and fakes reviews PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THE MINI GARAGE IN HAMPTON! Whatever name it’s under! My mini after getting his mechanic’s “to go though it with a fine tooth comb and will have a virtually brand new engine after” is engine wise dead! After it not running right I got a mechanic to plug a computer onto it and with the many mechanical issues it has just to computer alone showed 18 major faults! And I’m quite lucky compared to the other buyers because I can drive it on short journeys until it’s mot is up others had to scrap immediately! please I wish I’d seen something before I bought

In my opinion taking your car in for an MOT at London Mini, Percy Road, Hampton and 7 days later receiving a phone call stating you can collect your car and it will cost you £1287 is not alright?

Apart from the first day when I rang asking to collect my car and was informed that I needed a new radiator and that it would cost £450 which I reluctantly agreed to him to do the work. But every day after that, I rang asking for my car back and was told he is still looking at it. At no time during an everyday telephone conversation did he inform me that something else needed doing and it would cost blah blah blah. As a female going to your local garage and trusting them with your car and their service, I am absolutely distraught, feel totally scammed and am extremely disappointed that I was treated this way. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this garage? Please message or post me. Any advice would be much appreciated as I feel completely deflated as he not only lied stating where my car was but also would not give me my MOT Certificate until I demanded it. . In my opinion this whole experience has been so traumatic, frustrating, completely wrong and left me financially short for Christmas..

Complete breach of the law, Consumer Act 2015, DVLA regulations and more. The trader does this to multiple people and is agressive and a bully. He has multiple ongoing court claims for breaking the law, selling scrapped and written of cars without declaring them as such and in willingly misleading the public about what they are buying, not to mention significantly overvaluing the cars. Multiple negative reviews and the trader constantly tries to hide these. Do your homework before going near him.

Charles is a pathetic con man. He'll try and scam you right and left. Often changes website and name and has fake accounts everywhere to hide his scuminess. Check out "Daves logs Hampton" reviews on google, this is a fake business profile he created but people have clocked on. He is also sinclair cars on trust pilot. Avoid at all cost this guy is a scum bag.
