Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Disappointing
Ordering the cake was fine and collection was straight forward. I have ordered the Victoria Sponge cake before and it was good. Unfortunately, this cake wasn’t good. The sponge was very dry and heavy and tasted stale. Not at all like any Victoria sponge I have tasted.

Thank you for your review.
I'm very sorry that you found the Victoria Cake sponge to be dry. All of our products are freshly baked for dispatch and should be stored at room temperature for 2-3 hours before consuming, otherwise it could be quite dry.

A really great cake and fab service.
It was easy to order and there was good communication from the company throughout. The cake itself was amazing. I've never had such an amazing vegan cake before. We'll definitely be ordering again.

I'm very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the packaging of your order and the product in comparison to the website.
As all of our cakes are hand made, sometimes they can vary slightly from person to person when they are decorated.
Do you happen to have any photographs of the cake?
This is so that I can try and investigate this for you as well as showing our Bakery Manager.

I brought the monkey cake with vanilla…
I brought the monkey cake with vanilla sponge for my sons 1st birthday, the cake was beautifully made and I can’t fault the taste, it was delicious! Highly recommend and will certainly be buying many more cakes in the future!

Fabulous cake for coeliacs
Well done Lola’s for making a fabulous gluten free birthday cake for my sons 18th . Easy to order and great opening times so could collect after work . Very pleasant helpful smiling staff.
