A website that claims to be be British…
A website that claims to be be British and yet does not publish their address on their site (a legal requirement).
A website that does not publish their address on the Nominet Whois is (again, another legal requirement).
A company that has lots of 5 star reviews from people that have never reviewed any other companies. Strange given that the company website doesn't even link to TrustPilot.
I had never heard of the company until coming across a mention of them on diynot dot com. (see: Connector inside of light fitting?)
The light fitting does not look to be legal (in the UK/EU) and every one of their products online seems to display the same CE/ROHS certificate.
I have never purchased from them, but unless they are able to provide a valid response, I will not.
I do not doubt that they will complain to Trust Pilot about this post. I hope that Trust Pilot take the time to read my post. It will take seconds to verify that my post is truthful.
I have serious doubts about Lightin0, I hope that I can continue to trust Trust Pilot

You say that you have a UK warehouse. What is the address? What is the name of your UK subsidiary?
On your US website, you sat that you are owned by "LightingO.com co.,ltd" on the UK site it says "coobuy" based in Manchester. What is your parent company?
Why isn't your site GDPR compliant?
Why do users have to pay to return faulty items to China if you have a warehouse in the UK? And why do you only allow 7 days rather than the legal 14 day cooling off period?
Why do some of the reviews here say that the customer had to pay VAT on delivery?

We have warehouses in the UK, USA, China and Germany, so that customers from different countries can receive their orders as soon as possible.
And our lights have CE, RoHS, UL, SA and CSA certifications, so we can ensure that our lights are suitable for use in different countries.

Unfulfilled promises and still no item
Scam company.
Clearly the positive reviews are all fake.
Also, the responses below are all made up. There is no means of cross-referencing this review with any order placed therefore the company's response is just made-up rubbish.
The promised 'dispatch within 3-5 days' was three weeks and after much nagging by me. The item itself has still not arrived after more than four weeks.
Continua empty promises.
Clearly Chinese even though claim to be UK based.
I wish that I hadn't bothered and strongly recommend others don't either.

My first order with LightingO was for…
My first order with LightingO was for two items. One of the items was delayed because of the manufacturer and LightingO kept me informed of the situation asking if I still wanted to proceed with the order I thought this was great customer service and when I asked if the main item of the order could be dispatched while I waited this was arranged and the main item arrived a couple of days later, excellent, I was impressed with the way LightingO dealt with me I have since ordered more items which arrived early than the 5 days stated, well done again.

Lack of communication and no idea when my order will arrive.
I placed an order on 7/11/22. I received confirmation on 20/11/2022 that my order has been despatched. No tracking details have been supplied. I have tried to contact this company 4 times via their email and contact page with no response as to when my order will be received. I have rung their number repeatedly but it just rings off with no answer.
I have no idea if or when my order will be received.
Very poor service. I am hoping this poor review may prompt them to get in contact.
Just had a response as below. Seems to be their standard response.. I have finally got a tracking number but royal mail has not received the goods. Since 22/11/2022. Not sure this will ever turn up. Think will have to take this up with a visa claim.
