I needed a stairlift installing at short notice so my elderly mother could come back home after a short spell in hospital. The whole experience from enquiry to final installation was exceptional. I made the enquiry on the Wednesday morning, and by Friday mid-afternoon the installation was complete. The people in the office were very helpful, and changed their appointment schedule to fit me in. I dealt with Nathan face-to-face who came to the property to do the survey. He explained the options in a clear concise way, which enabled me to make a prompt decision and move forward with the installation. The installer arrived on time and carried out all the work with no issues, leaving the house clean and tidy. I would 100% recommend Leodis without any hesitation at all. It was a very straight forward transparent process. They phoned me back when they said they would. They arrived when the said they would. They did what they said they would do. What I thought might be an involved time-consuming process tuned out to be the complete opposite.

A tale of 2 companies really. The first that seems compassionate, easy to deal with and efficient at getting your equipment installed as you desperately attempt to support a loved one.
All of that goes out the window once they've taken your money. My stairlift was in for a little over 2 weeks and barely used as my wife was unfortunately taken back to hospital where she devastatingly passed away.
According to Leodis during those 2 weeks of minimal use - my equipment devalued by roughly 80%.
They would happily take it back for £300. Of course they would. A bargain compared to the £1650 I paid 2 weeks prior.
The paperwork states the equipment can be bought back based on 'age and general condition of the lift' but what it absolutely doesn't mention is the company policy that caps this at £300. Not a penny more.
This policy will then be rammed down your throat at every attempt to have a reasonable conversation about it. Yes they'll churn out the standard 'please accept our sincere condolences' but with zero genuine compassion. Zero empathy.
Had I been mercenary enough to leave my wife's death bed a day earlier I could have got a refund under the 2 week cancellation policy but unsurprisingly it wasn't high on my list of priorities at the time.
Lesson learnt. Buy a bungalow.

UPDATE after reply: your soulless response only reinforces my point. I also met my legal obligation to pay you in full for the installation. Thank goodness that's the contractual stuff cleared up.
As for your 'bespoke' installation it has since been successfully refitted into someone else's home (quite easily might I add). Thankfully a person in great need who doesn't have to line someone else's pockets.

Great service from start to finish, rang and enquired about options on the Saturday, someone came to measure up on the Monday and it was fitted on the Wednesday, bought a curved reconditioned stairlift with automatic turn at the top and colour coordinated to match my stair carpet, looked like new and was 1000s cheaper then we expected 😀 we paid just under £3000 but we did have the extra motor to turn at the top so would be even less, great staff on the phone and in person, clean and tidy when installing I would definitely recommend using Leodis Stairlifts.

Recently my father was diagnosed with a terminal illness and sadly his ability to get around his home is starting to diminish due to his medications and he was finding it hard to get upstairs to all of his amenities and we needed to consider a way forward to help with his wishes to stay independent in his home. The difficulty we found was finding a stairlift to fit my dad’s staircase. We tried several companies some of which became a nuisance with constant sales calls after their initial visit. However, Leodis had a different approach, Lindsey was brilliant, the surveyor was most helpful in explaining what was needed to help us get the stairlift fitted and the fitter was excellent too as there were additional issues with the building of a platform at the top of the stairs where the chair swung round to allow my dad’s staircase to get off safely and the top carpet relaying. Nothing was too much for all of the staff from Lindsey, to the surveyor and fitter. I can’t express our gratitude and thanks for a quick and efficient job done by the company and we would recommend to anyone trying to help an elderly relative to stay at home. The stair lift is easy to use, safe and easy to use.

From day 1 enquiring about the different options available the team were very knowlegable and efficient and polite also the fitter that attended on the day of installation was very polite and and on time and fitted in no time at all he was very tidy and demonstarted how to use the stairlift before leaving thanks for the great service and i would highly recommend.

When I returned home from hospital recently, I was happy to see my Leodis Stair lift had been installed, and was ready to help me with my new mobility problem. My brother, who had organised the installation, showed me how to use it, and up I went. He said that the installation went well, and the installer was very friendly and helpful. In a market place where there are several providers of stair lifts, I recommend you contact Leodis.

I realised I needed a stairlift after my balance problems suddenly worsened and it was becoming risky coming up and down my stairs. I chose Leodis Stairlifts because they are a local company and they had excellent reviews from customers. I’m so pleased I did.
The service I received was brilliant and very fast. After ringing up on Thursday morning to enquire, Dave came to visit the house that afternoon. He was extremely thorough, friendly and there was no attempt at pressure to decide. He gave me a few quotations and I quickly decided to invest in a new stairlift model. Amazingly they arranged the installation for the next day.
The work was carried out to a high standard and the fitter was very courteous and helpful and fully demonstrated how it worked. (I didn’t catch his name)
I’ve had it a week now and I couldn’t be happier with it. What a difference it’s made to my life!

The company was recommended by a few people from the initial visit from the rep Dave who went through all the options to fit a stairlift safely in our location to taking time with my mother to explain how it all worked then placing the order to be fitted when we wanted . The fitter arrived on time and within a couple of hours the unit was fitted tested and fully demonstrated , my mother now wishes shed had it fitted years ago as it has transformed her way of life .Many thanks to all involved from the office staff , sales team

Leodis arranged to come round a few days after we contacted them. Allan Richardson called round to check what was required and gave no pressure quotes for both a new and refurbished stairlift. We decided on the refurbished option which was a very reasonable price with 24 hour call out service and warranty. He booked us in for the next day! Dan Beardsmore arrived as arranged to fit. He did a great job. Mum is thrilled with access to her upstairs again. A great job all round! Thank you so much

Connor came out to fit the stairlift, very polite lovely lad. No mess at all, would definitely recommend Connor. He demonstrated how to use the stairlift which is very easy. Left me contact numbers etc.
The stairlift itself is really nice. I got the Ergo one in grey. New model it’s quiet, smooth running and comfortable. Controls are easy to use. Altogether I can highly recommend this company and the stairlift. One extremely happy customer.

Leodis Stairlifts are without question the number one company to deal with in this area. On this occasion I was a returning customer. The service and choice of products was as good as in had remembered.

Recommended by a friend in the village Nathan came out measured up and gave us a price there and then explained every thing with no pressure to sign up to anything on the spot . As we went on holiday the next day we had time to think about it and had it installed a week or so later .

When my husband needed a stairlift I looked at a few companies but Leodis was recommended to me by a friend who had used them. I accepted that advice and am very glad I did. Helpful staff both on the telephone and in my home considered what was best for us, the initial quote was held quite a long time, the lift was fitted within a few days by Michael who arrived at the appointed time, worked in a considerate manner and ensured I understood how to operate the lift safely before leaving. We chose a reconditioned lift which works perfectly. We are very pleased.

I have had my stairlift since 2020, and it has been nothing but trouble from day one. We had a reconditioned one on advice from the salesman, and it has broken too many time to mention.once again it is broken and I now have to pay call-out fee plus labour as I wasn’t allowed to pay for extended warranty, but I was asked if I wanted to buy another chair but still pay for call-out, labour.I’m outraged!!!I
