I would like thank Tony Griffin (customer service) on her professionalism and her fantastic communication. I had quite a big issue regarding some Hotel parking fines that shouldn’t of been issued & mounted up to quite a large sum of money and it was getting quite stressful and Tony basically got my issue sorted very swiftly I can’t thank her enough.

Must be one of if not the worse…
Must be one of if not the worse companies out there, if I was to write a review on how bad & what a rip off they are it would be an essay.
All I can say is don’t use full stop.
And can I add a note, to all the people on here that gives them a five star review at the start of your contract, money says you’ve changed your mind when it comes to handing it back, I feel sorry for all of you.

Poor Customer serivce and fault resolution
I have a faulty car and lease plan have took no responsibility to resolve the fault or replace the car.
Its all down to me to keep repeatdely try and get the car fixed. It still has a dangerous fault 8 months on.
This is my third lease car and I wholeheartedly regret taking the cheaper price and dealing with UK Car Line & Leaseplan UK.
Previously had positive experiences with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts and BMW.
The key thing is I have a contract with leaseplan who owns the vehicle. Leaseplan are supplying me with a defective vehicle and don't take any ownership to fix. The cover is irrelevant. You should provide me a vehicle and you should take it up with MG not Me!

Actually quite shocked by the extra charges they make up when you hand back a car. I had a car for 5 years which I kept spotless and they have charged me over £500 for extremely small stone ships etc.
I’d never use Lease Plan again

I have been waiting over 10 days now…
I have been waiting over 10 days now and have been chasing the matter everyday but getting nowhere with it.I need Leaseplan to URGENTLY amend their records from 15/1/25 to 15/12/24 of the termination date of our extended contract so that I can request the early termination settlement figure for giving the car back.They keep on giving me false promises that it will be done.The service is useless and hopeless.

Very long story short , had a puncture on a full maintenance leaseplan on a Saturday afternoon and was promised this would be resolved by the following day. Promise after promise was made by them even with me questioning this everytime I called, in no way was a awkward or rude customer and was understanding at all point when talking to there staff, suffice to say they didn't resolve the issue till Wednesday thus leaving me without a car (which obviously I need for my job) Truthfully there saving grace was a lady in there Rental department (Toni Williams) who pulled out all the stops and got a car to me as quick as she could and actually spent the time to make sure I was mobile again with phone calls every day. If I worked the way leaseplan do I would genuinely have no customers.......poor show from then and a.generous 2 stars purely down to the one person who was exceptionally helpful.

Useless customer service department
We hired a vehicle on a personal basis for an initial three year period in November 2020. At the end of the three years we extended it by a further 12 months i.e. till November 2024. The contract document I signed confirmed that the agreement would expire at the end of that month … but then three months before November 2024 they said the end date was the end of January 2025 and we might be liable for additional monthly payments. Can I sort it out with their customer services department? NO CHANCE! After multiple calls and emails and a formal complaint I’m no closer. The only feeling I get is one of gross incompetence and an inability to resolve a fairly simple problem.

Excellent communication
The customer service advisor I was dealing with was excellent. She always got back to me and I had been dealing with her for over 2 years.

Poor customer service
Throughout the 3 year contract they were helpful. However, as soon as the car went back I got charged for several things that I shouldn’t have. When I mentioned this, all they said was it’s been refunded. I sent proof of no money going into my bank account and they pretty much said it’s a me problem and nothing they can do. Be careful!

Absolutely unacceptable service
Absolutely unacceptable service. We’ve been requesting information about extra payments deducted from our bank account since October of last year, and it’s now August. The lack of professionalism and responsiveness from this company is extremely frustrating.

Shocking
Shocking. Car was written off in a non fault accident. Took leaseplan 2 weeks to send my insurance company a settlement figure which was paid of on June 26th - after this they continued to charge me monthly rentals for a car I did not have. When I called them after the SECOND payment had left my account to tell them to stop charging me as the car was written off in a horrific accident that I’m sick of talking about and explaining they said “oh I don’t know why your account is still open let me put you on hold to sort this” 10 mins later was told it’s now closed and all payments that were taken after the incident date would be refunded, two were taken after the incident and only one has been refunded today - shocking, I’m going to have to call them again today to ask for a further refund. Would never return.
UPDATE- So nothing had been escalated as per lease plans response, and I had to do this myself which has taken two emails and three phone calls along with me raising a complaint.. can’t even express how unhappy I am with this business! What a joke
