Poor service

Took a week to collect, had to chase several times. Be mindful when using this service.

We have just had work done by LBW Pavings, who have beautifully landscaped
our driveway, patio and back garden.
What a fantastic job and what a transformation.
Luke and his work men were professional and reliable at all times.
Respectfully of the property and did a quality job.
Used quality products.
Luke was very helpful in advising what would be suitable for our drive and garden
and putting his own creative finish to the project .
We are so pleased with everything and so glad we picked LBW the company you can trust .

Awful experience. Skip booked for morning many weeks in advance. Reconfirmed day before. Checked early in the morning again that it was booked in. Told all good. Didn't arrive by noon. Multiple calls. Put on hold several times and then not retrieved from hold. Had to hang up after 10-15 minutes and redial several times. Nobody knew what was happening. Promised call backs; they didn't happen either. Company seems clueless. Nobody can tell you if your skip is coming or when. I strongly recommend you do not to use this company.

I wish I’d seen these reviews before I booked with them. After dealing with this company for a month with what should have been a simple skip delivery and collection service I have no energy left to give full details of the catalogue of errors. They should be reported to trading standards. They are a “broker” which they only tell you when things go wrong and they then blame a different company. Only feedback I can give is DO NOT give them your money unless you are prepared for dozens of phone calls, emails, lies and excuses. No idea how they are still in business

Skip arrived on time with no issues...the trouble started when trying to get the now un-needed skip removed.

Called on the Wednesday to arrange collection told they were busy but would try for Thursday or Friday. Called them again on Thursday only to find there was no record of the collection. Promised it would be dealt with as an urgent collection as I have a large delivery scheduled that will not deliver past a skip. End of play Friday still no collection and I am still waiting. Is this now trespass?

Scammed took 420 out of bank 2 for a skips that never arrived to address in Burnley

I have had an extremely poor experience with LB Skips from start to finish.

The first collection and delivery was delayed by over a week after being told the truck had broken down, which caused major disruption to my building works. No apology or alternative solution was offered.

When the skip was finally collected, I was accused of moving it myself, despite the fact it had been spun around by the company on delivery. I had to provide CCTV evidence before they would take it.

On my most recent collection, the driver refused to take the skip, referred to me dismissively while I was standing in front of him, and drove off even after I agreed (and did) remove items to level the skip.

When I raised this with the office, I was immediately accused of being untruthful, despite the fact their own recorded calls confirmed what I had said. Instead of resolving the issue, I was told I’d be charged a £60 + VAT “wasted journey” fee before they would collect the skip.

This company has been unprofessional, dismissive and extremely difficult to deal with at every stage. I felt I was treated unfairly and with a lack of respect. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this company.

From beginning to end this has been a trauma.
Phoned to order their 4 yard skip advertised on their website at £160 only to be told that price was not correct. Ended up paying £282.
I discussed with them my situation that I was time bound in clearing garden waste from my property and they assured me they would prioritise my delivery for early morning. I took the day off on Wednesday to fill the skip and waited and waited. Eventually I phoned them at 1.30pm and they said it would be with me in an hour. It arrived just before 4pm. A chance conversation with the driver revealed that I had to give 2 days notice for the skip to be lifted. I phoned straight away and booked the uplift for Friday. Again assurances were given that it would be lifted Friday. Waited all day Friday but the skip was still on my property. I phoned them and they said it was booked to be lifted so they would definitely be coming. At 4.30pm I phoned again and was promised a call back. No call back came! Phoned at 5pm and was told they would find out when the skip would be picked up and would call me back. No call back came. At 5.20pm I phoned again to be flippantly told that it would now be Monday pick up. At this point my patience ran out. We were having a family party on the Saturday which was why I asked for assurances that the skip was gone by Friday. The party was not just a party but an event of some significance. I tried to convey this to the person who had answered the phone to be told that there was nothing to be done MATE!!!
I demanded the manager contact me. No contact from that quarter and nothing since.
This company has shown no interest from the minute I paid. Has reneged on their contract and their promises. This " Family run" company caused myself and my family huge levels of stress and anxiety having to have our event with a dirty big skip in the middle of proceedings.
Update- Monday morning wakened at 7am by the truck arriving to pick up the skip!
The driver informed me that I would have been better booking the skip direct from them as LB were actually third party brokers and not the company that supplies skips??????????

Ordered 3 8 Yd skips from this company. The first two went like clockwork. The third they arrived to collect 2 days early so it was not fully filled. I asked them to come back. I have since spent 3 weeks with emails and phoning them trying to get them to uplift the final skip from my driveway. The customer service is extremely poor with no urgency to do anything and the skip is still sitting in my driveway two weeks after it was due to be uplifted. I am unable to recommend this firm to anyone as they don't seem care about their customers and simply ignore emails and phone calls to uplift skips. Skip still sits in my driveway! Come on LBWaste this is not rocket science!
