I wish I could select zero star! Their services was horrific from start to finish. They're very quick to take your money, but will deliver the skip whenever suits them, so be prepared to wait for days until it arrives despite any 'confirmation'. The collection was a lot worse! I had to call them tens of times and although they'd say 'tomorrow', it took over a week to be collected. They claimed to have come and didn't collect the skip because it was overloaded which it was not at all! I had to check on the cctv and the driver didn't even stop, let alone call or ring the bell. They just drove past and didn't collect because they couldn't be arsed. I would avoid at all cost! Do not hire them, find another provider and always check for reviews! I wish I had checked beforehand!

Do NOT use. This turns out to be an agency. They charged me for what I explained was household waste.
When the skip company came, they refused to take the items. I explained I had paid extra and they stated that I had to take it up with the agency.
Its a scam. LB waste will charge you extra for prohibited items, wont tell the company they hire. The company will then refuse to take it, empty the items out amd drive off with a half full skip.
Incredibly poor service.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered a skip over the phone and paid upfront, but never received a confirmation email. On the day of delivery, I had to chase them because the "early morning slot" I booked didn't happen—the skip finally turned up after 1 pm.

The service only got worse from there. A staff member named Joe promised me they would collect as soon as we were ready. However, when I called the next day, they claimed the earliest collection was April 16th (a full week later). When I pointed out that their own "3-5 business days" terms should mean the 15th at the latest, they were extremely unhelpful and borderline rude.

They kept hiding behind T&Cs that I was never even sent in writing. Because the skip is stuck on my driveway, I can't finish my paving, costing me extra money and wasted annual leave. When I asked for compensation for their incompetence, I was told "not to be silly."

The man on the phone actually complained that a bad review "wasn't fair"—what’s truly unfair is lying to customers about your ability to deliver a service just to get a booking. Avoid this company at all costs.
I am very disappointed and I would never ever hire a skip from these people.

Ordered a 4-yd skip web page £190 + VAT got a notification on phone within seconds of ordering charge me £354. Phone company back immediately and cancelled within 4 minutes and charged me £50 +VAT cancellation fee. Must be the worst company I've ever had to deal with they are just scammers please be aware when ordering from this company.

I booked a skip van service and paid in advance, but the van never arrived on time. They even scheduled me for a bank holiday, when I explicitly needed the service on a normal working day.
Despite calling the company three times, I was given completely conflicting delivery times 11 am, then 12 pm, then “30 minutes”and each person I spoke to gave a different answer. When I expressed frustration at their constant misinformation, the staff actually got annoyed with me, rather than taking responsibility.
The van ended up being 1.5 days late. According to the driver, they had informed the company (LB) they would be late, but instead of communicating honestly with me, the company kept making up new time frames.
This is not just poor service, it’s incompetent, disorganized, and shows a total disregard for customer time and money. They overbook, mismanage schedules (even on holidays), mislead customers, and are unprofessional when challenged. The driver themselves was frustrated at how the company handled the delivery.
I cannot recommend this company. Their repeated false promises, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior show they cannot be trusted under any circumstances. Skip LB is a waste—go to Ron Waste Management, who LB actually use.

I actually thought i was hiring a skip through a local company. No hidden cost it says on their Web page. I rang the local number to book. I got a confirmation email from this company, who are not local to me, I questioned it and was told it was a sister company. Further down the page of email it states there is an added £15 sur - charge to cover the recent hike in fuel prices.
I decided to cancel the order, only to be charged £48 for doing so. So much for no hidden costs.

Hopeless admin. Skip arrived ok. But getting them to collect is like talking to a brick wall. Incompetent admin. skip nearly 2 weeks overdue for collection despite requests, whilst winds blowing rubbish over garden. Never again.

Spoke with Charlotte today, she was so helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole process of ordering and collecting a skip easy.

Really easy, smooth process. A big thankyou to Ben for answering all my queries. Can’t fault the customer service.

Avoid. Terrible customer service service, Once you have hired the skip all interest in delivering service dissapears. Waiting for 2 days and still no skip, yesterday 2 phone calls with promises and no results and now 3pm on the second day another 2 calls with staff promising delivery but no results yet. Avoid

Did not turn up on the day, didn’t communicate and then told us we could get a skip 2-3 days later instead. We booked time off work to complete a job and they were a complete waste of time.
Please do not use!

As far as ordering the skip went everything was easy; having a short window thought the problems started when the skip we requested for morning drop off was delivered mid-afternoon. Do yourself a favor, do a little digging and find a local sk989796io hire company.

I hired this shambles of a company to drop a wait and load skip, we arranged a PM slot. I spent the day getting everything organised out the front onto the customers drive for the skip hire to not turn up, I asked for an ETA at 13:00 I was told no later then 3pm, I called at 3pm and was told he’s got a puncture but will definitely be there tonight, I called again at 4:30pm to be told I’ll call you back in 5 minutes but the driver is on his way to you, called again at 17:25 before they closed and they ignored my calls, needless to say nobody arrived, the following day I called and they said no problem we will refund but the problem was still there for me as the rubbish was still sitting on the customers drive! I received “no problem mate we will refund it bud”. Once I told them it was a problem he hung up on me! What an absolute disgrace of a company don’t waste your time

DO NOT USE. They are refusing to collect the skip which has sunk on our front garden lawn for the past 3 weeks until we pay a collection fee (as they say they have tried to collect it but no one was in even though we all were in) they haven't followed or contacted us once even though we asked them to when collecting. We have asked them to collect it since 2 days after it arrived but to let us know first and they didn't. VERY VERY rude on the phone to my 66 year old mum. They want 85+VAT or they wont collect it. ABSOLUTE P*SSTAKE. Disgusting. FUMING!

Definitely would not use this company again - I had three different skip companies deliver and collect skips - LB waste offered a poor customer service and did not collect when agreed by email, basically what ever instructions was emailed to them, they failed to forward onto the driver.

Absolutely appalling service, I wish I had checked the other reviews before booking, like everyone else said they just took our money and ran. No skip turned up and when I rang on several occasions, always getting promised a call back and then nothing happens.

Go direct to suppliers. This is an intermediary company so will quote you a price depending on how much commission they feel they want to make on the day. I was quoted different prices by different advisors meaning they would profit between £50 and £90 minimum for the smallest skip so go direct to the skip companies. They also have zero interest after they have taken your money. Was very hard work dealing with them and I felt totally ripped off when I found out the hire price if I had gone direct.

Really great service, efficient, good value for money and a personal approach from the staff at LB. Can't fault these guys.

Absolutely dog s*it service. Skip never turned up despite calling and checking the day before. Called in the morning and they then moved from 8am to 4pm. Cost me a days work waiting for these nonces and cost me a labourer for the day. Now trying to get a refund. STAY CLEAR OF THIS LOT!
