I have had a brilliant experience with lawsons. Starting with boards for my loft where Floyd was more than helpful. Really appreciated his help when I was unable to lift myself he happily done it. Thankyou. And thankyou to Joe and Ross (Colney heath) have gone above and beyond. Great service and top company. Would highly recommend Lawsons to anyone needing to renovate or even little touches. Fantastic!!

I ordered feather edge boards & arris rails just before Christmas for delivery today,. On arrival I discovered the boards were the wrong size. I had mistakenly ordered the wrong product, Jason at customer service sorted everything out with minimum fuss & the correct size boards were delivered by the very helpful Floyd early afternoon. Spectacular customer service. Many thanks!

Terrible experience with a delivery driver. He decided not to use the large bay, but rather stop in the middle of the road to unload - there was more than enough space for his lorry. Residents were blocked in and -at the beginning- tried to reason with the driver to let them through. He responded very rudely and started unloading deliverately slowly. Minutes went past and he just stood on top of his lorry without doing anything. It seemed he enjoyed his little bit of power over everyone. This of course aggrevated the neighbours who needed to go to work. Through his terrible attitude and rudeness, he created an uneccessarily awful and tense situation. The driver could very easlily have moved over a little bit before unloading - or say something like "Sorry this will only take a few minutes" in a normal tone. Unfortunately, a total lack of understanding, manners and professionality made the situation really bad for everyone. His attitude was totally uncalled for and left me trying to calm down the neighbours, who had no idea for how long they would be trapped and understandbly responded by being angry. Afterwards, he would not even let me finish my sentence when trying to compain, just continued to talk over me. He was incredibly patronising and then proceeded to mock me. Lawsons - sort out your staff. Give them some training or something.

Thanks to V. at the Whetstone Lawsons who helped me organise all my fencing (lots of maths involved) and set-up the first delivery of the day – which meant the builder was waiting curb side for delivery. I called five other companies and Lawsons were the only company to help me organise this.

I have just tried to place an online order for 4 post caps.
Simple, one would would assume.
Not so.
The website is chaotic. It takes an age to respond and parts of it don't appear at all!
I tried for ages to locate my basket and it only appeared on screen after seven attempts,
And then it charged me for all seven (that is, 28 posts instead of 4)
and now I've given up
The website needs urgent attention,
I don't have time to waste like this.

After contacting many a builders merchants and given the run around, 2 phonecalls, a few emails, and a confirmation of delivery, lawsons operative Mr Neville Holness had my bricks promptly delivered on the day and time specified.

The outdoor department were so helpful, friendly, and willing to help load things into the van. The indoor staff were efficient, warm, and welcoming. Also, the outdoor security guards made some really funny jokes.
