I have used Lawstarters for 2 years and they have always done such a great job. Well this year is quite different. The 1st mowing was perfect. Then, unfortunately, we had a lot of rain. Then the Pro had to cancel due to illness. I had also requested that clippings be bagged. Since then my yard has been cut without using a bag behind the mower thereby leaving grass in my backyard that is lined by a rock border. I had reported this after the first incident and they gave me $20 off next service. Not acceptable. Now it has happened again!! I’m Done!!

I am extremely disappointed with LawnStarter. From the very beginning, they made promises they had no intention of keeping. I was given a quote for the work, only to find that the final cost did not reflect what was originally agreed upon. Honoring your word and your quoted price should be the bare minimum in any business, yet this company failed on both counts. At least give me the option to proceed or not.

Communication was poor, expectations were set and then ignored, and I was left feeling misled and frustrated. The quality of customer service was just as disappointing as the lack of accountability. When concerns were raised, there was little effort to make things right or honor the commitments that had been made.

A quote should mean something. Customers rely on the information provided to make informed decisions, and changing the terms after the fact is unprofessional and damages trust. Unfortunately, my experience was filled with broken promises, unexpected costs, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

I cannot recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, honest lawn care services. There are plenty of companies that value integrity and stand behind their word. This is not one of them.

I never need to worry about the job being done great even though I do not greet or check up on the crew.
