Latitude South planned a great two week trip to NZ for me and my 19 year old son. They could not have been more organized and easy to work with.

Latitude South Travel Company is simply amazing! From start to finish, the genuine warmth and interest in us and what we wanted from our trip to New Zealand was obvious. All of the arrangements were impeccable, the directions clear and easy to follow and the recommendations spot on. We had a number of changes that had to be made late in the process and there was no problem---it was just taken care of. I feel like Karen and Claire are friends! I highly recommend Latitude South and will definitely use the company again should my travels take me back to that part of the world.

Claire at Latitude South helped us plan a trip to New Zealand and we had a wonderful time. Claire really did a wonderful job of listening to our family's interests and built an itinerary that was tailored to our interests - including plenty of free time to explore the outdoors of New Zealand on our own. She also helped us avoid some touristy destinations in favor of some lesser visited areas that turned out to be wonderful. A chartered boat ride along the coast of Abel Tasman national park was a highlight of the trip, and included some on-shore time at the beach and hiking. It was one of those things that we would have never found on our own.

There was only one small snafu with our airport transfer on arrival, which we received a refund for. It turned out not to be difficult to get a car to our hotel so all went well, and Latitude South helped us get a refund.

Overall, I'd highly recommend Latitude South if you want a tailored trip to NZ that takes you beyond only the typical destinations.

Everything the travel agent planned for went smoothly without hiccups. We had a self-drive tour around Cook Islands and New Zealand (North Island). The agent was responsive during the planning phase and took the time to call us to make sure everything was in order. She updated us about any changes which arose (such as hotel unavailability) and made sure we were comfortable with the alternatives they had proposed. Price and costs were also transparent, they did not have any hidden fees or surcharges and indicated clearly what you were paying for and what was / wasn't included.

They made me feel that I could travel safely as they replied my emails promptly during the trip and provided contact numbers in case we needed emergency assistance. Thankfully, we didn't need to use them.

Latitude South Travel Company helped make our first trip to Australia and New Zealand a journey of a lifetime. They really took the time to learn of our interests and created a fabulous itinerary tailor made for us. Each location, accommodation, educational tour, outdoor adventure and culinary delight was fitted to our personalities and was of the highest quality. We felt incredibly pampered but also felt as if we were with family all along the way. Special thanks to Karen and Claire for the perfect design and execution of this trip.

We had an absolutely delightful experience on our trip to Australia and New Zealand through Latitude South. Karen met with us via phone several times during the planning process, and was always willing to tweak the agenda to meet our needs. Her knowledge of both countries was invaluable when it came to planning the perfect trip. Claire was also excellent in her communications and flexibility.

The trip could not have gone better. The activities Karen and team booked for us were perfect. The accommodations were excellent. It was key to us that the company helping us plan our trip was willing to listen and adjust the itinerary to fit our desires. We were especially keen to see the countryside, and the animals, while learning a bit about the native cultures. Our itinerary hit the mark.

it's often difficult to "see" a new country in a short amount of time. Our schedule took us everywhere from the Great Barrier Reef to an overnight boat trip in Fiordland National Park. Any time we got to feeling like we needed a bit of downtime, we found that multiple nights had been scheduled at a particular accommodation. We could not have planned it better.

I highly recommend Latitude South to anyone considering a trip to Australia and/or New Zealand.

This company did an outstanding and amazing job in planning and coordinating our vacation. Every detail was taken care of and everything went smoothly. We could not have asked for a more perfect time. I would use their services again in a heartbeat and have recommended them highly to all of my friends.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Latitude South. Claire and Karen went above and beyond to make our Australian vacation excellent and hassle free. Their service and the trip itself exceeded our expectations and the personal touches were greatly appreciated. Karen was immensely patient as we worked through multiple iterations of our itinerary till we came upon the one that was perfect for us. We were all over the map when we started and are so thankful for her guidance and her willingness to offer different alternatives for us till we landed on one that was just right for us.

The cultural experience that Karen arranged for us was most authentic and allowed us to really appreciate the Maori culture. It was an experience that allowed for introspection while enjoying a taste of a different lifestyle among the Maori, in a private home. It was far from the hokey tourist cultural experience that most visitors will have.I won't spoil it but if you book this with Karen (and you must) you will meet some pretty famous locals who will welcome you and share their culture with you.

I would highly recommend Latitude South to all our friends who are contemplating a trip down under.

New Zealand had always been on my husband and my travel bucket list, but when we decided to go, we really needed help in narrowing down our to do and see wishes. Latitude South Travel Company was our answer to getting a taste of New Zealand in two weeks. LSTC was absolutely the most professional and organized company we’ve ever worked with. They listened to our ideas, made up an itinerary based on them, and then submitted it to us. After we approved it, they made all the reservations (including all air travel), and all we had to do was show up and ENJOY. We were not disappointed in anything. We were blessed in being able to meet and spend a day with Karen and her Dad on our tour to a sheep station. We went on wine tastings, an over nighter on the Doubtful Sound, sea kayaking at Abel Tasman, hiking on the Routeburn Track, tours of WETA Workshops, and so much more. All said, we highly recommend LSTC.

What an amazing trip we had to Australia and New Zealand! It was everything we had hoped for and so much more! Every day unfolded with a new adventure or wonder of nature. Latitude South absolutely listen to our desires but also added their own expertise to ensure that each day was seamless and every minute well-spent. Even our down-time was perfectly timed to when we needed to stop, breathe and do laundry.😊 After 4 weeks - 2 each in Australia and New Zealand - we still weren't ready to head home! Working with Latitude South was as good as could be. In the planning stage, Karen spent as much time as we needed to assist in developing our itinerary. She is delightful, fun, flexible and extremely knowledgeable about all things New Zealand. Nothing was too much trouble to adjust or change as our preferences became clearer. Her entire team, whom we were lucky to meet while in Nelson, couldn't have been nicer nor more accommodating. They were helpful on the ground as needed and always had a good suggestion. Latitude South were highly professional, extremely responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. We spent nearly three weeks in Australia and Fiji, and all the arrangements they made, including for our wedding in Likuliku, Fiji, worked perfectly. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

Everything was seamless and all on time with top professional service, guides and top tour providers. A genuine, authentic, varied, comprehensive and breathtaking travel experience. Traveled the North and South Island from North, South, East and West. Warning ... the captivating beauty of this country and the friendliness of the people, combined with great food and wine is irresistable and you’ll fall in love with this amazing land. We did it all ... by planes, helicopter, sailboat, dinghy, speedboat, ferries, bus, taxis, luxury van, cable car, swim, hikes, forest walks, glowworm caves, museums, art galleries, botanical gardens, a castle, craft stores, vineyards, wine tasting, shopping, saw penguins, whales, gannets, dolphins, seals, albatrosses, sea lions, experienced Maori culture immersion, tea and tour with charming sheep and cattle farm owners ... and more ... of course Kiwi and Kea birds ....it’s s blur. Claire, Karen and their team deserve the highest praise for providing a top notch once in a lifetime experience.

Great on trip planning and good back and forth to get the perfect itinerary. Recommended things we would never have done on or own.List of recommendations for restaurants was very helpful and spot on. I would urge anyone who wants to do New Zealand ,but NOT on a tour, use them. Not one problem with anyone or any place they suggested. They are a world class resource.

Latitude South planned a perfect vacation for us. We were in New Zealand for 4 weeks, covered both islands and had a fantastic time. We had great accommodations, transfers, guides and adventures.
