I posted a previous comment when I received the wall lights from Lancashire Lighting complimenting their customer service. I have now installed the lights and they are perfect. So overall, I'm really happy with the choice of lights, the speed of delivery, the packaging, the quality of the lights and the overall customer service. Well done and thank you to Lancashire Lighting.

Whilst the cost per unit was higher than I was comfortable with, this was the only example of its type I could find in the UK. Delivery was not as quick as I had anticipated but time is not a real factor in this case

No communication beyond initial atomated email response following purchase, invoice stated 3-4 days for delivery, no show for 8 days, no response to emails and unanswered calls , saving grace was the money paid re-appearing in my bank in week 2. Poor way of doing business.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Wrong items arrived and there is no customer service!! Phone number doesn't work, emails go unanswered and chat doesn't respond. Items returned in the hope of a refund but no response. Also spent so long trying to resolve the issue that PayPal refused a refund as it over 30 days.

It has been permanently engaged for the past eight weeks now!
I bought three identical lights for over £400. One light developed a fault. After giving up on calling, I gave a try to the chat. It was not straight forward but eventually I was given a return label and returning was straight forward.
The fixed light was returned to me in about 2 weeks and an electrician arrived to re-fit it. When tested, the light did not accept commands from the remote controller.
The phone line being continually engaged I tried the chat with the electrician waiting. Half way through the chat it broke down and the line where you type disappeared from the screen.
The chat reverted to a send e-mail window. Character limits were not shown and half the typed message was lost when the send button was pressed. Two hours later no answer. Light not fitted. Electrician has left. Case ongoing!
Last night the second of the three lights developed a loud noise when dimmed and now sounds like a ceiling fan when dimmed. Case ongoing!
Prompt shipping, high quality products
I bought several times from Lanscashire Lighting. The website could be better and easier to use, but they have a vast array of lighting goods. I've always been happy with the quality.
what I value is the fact that they ship promptly and I always receive the goods within a couple of days of ordering.

Hi I ordered wall lights and paid 2/3 days delivery charge on 21/1/26 I have still not received my wall lights? It is now 29/1/26, spoke to a chat online and told them about it and said I was not happy, they said they were being dispatched today because they had been unable to find them in the warehouse, said this is not my problem I have paid for a service I have not received and they shut the chat. Here’s hoping they arrive tomorrow and that I get my postage back.

Ordered the light on the 20th dec, WRONG light was sent. Raised a polite message with all the data and confirmed i had been sent the wrong light. Enclosed in the box was another customers customers personal info, invoice i.e their e-mail address and home address etc.
They said we will pick up the incorrect one. 3 days in a row i left it outside and waited for courier. Finally it was picked up, 3 days later the incorrect one was sent back. Still no news on the actual light i ordered.
PLS URGENTLY refund this order. I have wasted hrs & hrs of my time going to the online chat sending messages, leaving the box outside and hoping/waiting for the courier to arrive. I have no more time to waste trying to buy from you. Telling my electrian to be on standby as the light is due then the same incorrect light arrives back??? I have asked for people to call me back but you cant get through.
Please confirm this Order #3000025282 of £145 is refunded ASAP so I no longer have to deal with this company or I will go on every social media channel I can find to explain how awful my experience has been trying to buy a light. You literally couldn't make it up.
You have sent me personal data from another client including e-mail addresses etc which I'm sure had GDPR implications and no doubt my personal data has gone to another client. Please confirm you have processed the credit. In the meantime I will buy a light from John Lewis or a company that I can trust to not waste my time....
Appalling customer service and misleading delivery information
I ordered an engine from this company after being told it would be delivered the next day. Four working days later, I had received nothing — no delivery, no update, and I was unable to get through to any phone number despite repeated attempts.
After chasing, someone eventually replied to say delivery was actually 3–5 working days. By this point it was already day four, and I was then promised it would be dispatched the following day at the latest. Another three days passed with no communication whatsoever.
When I finally got through to a woman on the phone, she promised to call me the next day to confirm delivery. That call never came. Two days later I rang again and spoke to a man who informed me she doesn’t even work that day. He then said there was an engine waiting to be dispatched and it could be mine, and again promised a call the next day. No call.
I rang yet again and was then told that the engine was not mine after all, and that my engine had an oil fault and would now take a further two weeks to send. At this point I asked for the order to be cancelled and refunded — and unsurprisingly, I am still waiting for that refund.
This entire experience has been incredibly costly. My work van has been off the road, forcing me to hire a replacement, and my garage rearranged work while waiting for an engine that never arrived. The lack of communication, conflicting information, broken promises and failure to refund is completely unacceptable.
Avoid this company. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Very poor service as a whole
Soo, I ordered 2 product's from them, which turned out to be out of stock,, which they emailed me explaining this on the Friday,,, 2 days after ordering ( even though delivery was supposed to be 2 - 3 days) and it is now Wednesday the following week & I still haven't even received any rely email from them, let alone spoken about having my money back. Though, of course, they were quick enough to take it. Really not good service
