We had an excellent experience with Afra Khan throughout our house purchase. She was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive from start to finish.
What stood out the most was her communication. She always responded to our emails very quickly, and on several occasions she even replied outside of normal working hours. Her dedication and commitment to keeping everything moving gave us real confidence during what can be a stressful process.
Afra went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled efficiently, and we truly appreciated her hard work and attention to detail. We are very grateful for all her support and would highly recommend Afra Khan to anyone looking for a dedicated and reliable solicitor.

Avoid at all costs. I appointed Knight Richardson to assist with a property purchase in June 2026, paying a premium cost for what I hoped was a premium service. Unfortunately this was quickly found to not be the case, throughout the transaction the communication was poor, often leading to me chasing up simple enquiries multiple times with no response, often not getting an answer at all.

Due to the lack of clarity of crucial matters, I withdrew from the transaction just to be issued with a £450 abortion fee following a review of initial enquiries. Surprisingly, this was the only time the communication was of any standard, when they were chasing this payment and threatening small claims court summons if not paid within a short deadline.

The assistant at the firm was rude, unprofessional and unsympathetic regarding the matter, dismissing all concerns raised and speaking over me as I attempted to speak.

I attempted to speak to a senior member of staff, just to be told that they were too busy to take my call and when I requested a callback, was told that they were too busy and to either pay the fee or a small claims court application would be made.

I’ve never dealt with a more abrasive, rude conveyancing company in my life, they’re incompetent, rude and provide the worst communication. Avoid to prevent wasting your money.

My experience with Afra Khan was 10/10. She is a huge asset to the firm. Always willing to pick up the phone to the bank, or any stakeholder necessary. Many people would sit on things or hide behind an email, whereas Afra gets out ahead and is highly proactive. I would ask for her every time following my experience.

I have used this company before and they are excellent. Millie was brilliant dealing with my property sale. Fantastic service as everything went great.

Very challenging experience, they missed crucial items on searches. Delaying a very simple property purchase over a 6 month period. Became very unpleasant on email and resulted in no property sale and a bill for work they failed on.

There was a few extra charges which did bump up the final bill a lot compared to original quote but I think this happens with all solicitors?

I'd first like to commend Nimaat and Isaac for their support with my staircasing case. It should have been straightforward, but turned out to be quite the nightmare given the delays and lack of diligence from my housing association. But both Nimaat (in particular) and Isaac, both kept me up to date with the processes being executed.

I would highly recommend Knight Richardson for their diligence, expertise, patience, and perseverance.
I had a less than optimal experience with regard to the two online portals I was given access, to gain progress update on my case; I had a better experience simply calling or emailing the team to get updates.
