Money making scam, they’re looking for low value transactions and people giving up on trying to get their money back. My transaction is $99.95. It’s my own fault, I broke my own rules, the product came up in my FB feed when I was scrolling on Sunday night and I immediately hit ‘buy’ instead of waiting until the next day (which is my rule). As soon as I did that an offer popped up to buy a second one for $86.97 or similar which I was annoyed at and when I said no, then yet another option popped up to buy the second item now for $57.98 or similar! I said no. Warning bells were ringing but I still didn’t question it. I feel silly. By Thursday I received an email saying the item had been delivered. Quick, right? Yeah, nah, of course it hadn’t been. I checked with the neighbours. It showed it was shipped from Melbourne to Auckland and made it from Auckland to Palmy within a few very short hours which is nigh on impossible if you consider the customs and freighting handling. I asked for proof of delivery on Friday and again on Saturday. On Sunday I requested a refund. This is now Monday and I have not heard from them. I have called ANZ who were very helpful. My credit card has been cancelled and they will be disputing the charges with the organisation who have made the transaction.
I am crossing fingers I get the money back.
If you are in the same/similar situation, go to your bank ASAP.

I should have read reviews before placing order. When something is too good to be true, it usually isn’t….oh well. It’s only been two weeks and I’ve sent my first email wondering where my stuff is…

Appears to be real but there is no address for where the store is (other than Auckland) there is no phone number to contact.
And the money goes via UK.

Not Kiwi and not in Auckland, 1 month later and the tracking says it is still in the wharehouse (if one actually exists), 22 emails back and forward with them apologising saying it has been sent, then it will be sent, then that it has been sent but the couriers tracking is not working. So it is now up to the credit Card company to organise a refund. At one point I tried to cancel the order and get a refund (they say they have a 60 day refund if not totally happy) but they said once the ordered has been processed I would have to wait for it to arrive and then send it back. Avoid them like the plague and what I now know is look at reviews for any online offer.

Oh no after place an order i read the review all is scam. I feel so sad why i didn’t read review before place order. Why did i wasted a big amount on cheap quality products

Still waiting for any information from this 'business'. I sent an email asking why it was taking so long, and they replied saying that the stock was coming from their overseas office. That was 4 weeks ago. The so-called 'tracking number' is total bullshit. Bugger - I should have looked for scam comments before placing an order.

After I authorised the purchase, something didn't sit right about the website's claims so I checked out independant online reviews, every single review saying it was a scam with 'SP Kiwi Made NZ' not delivering, or sending chinese product instead of the New Zealand made product they were advertising...

As mentioned above, you (ASB) couldn't do anything then as the transaction was pending.

Now that the transaction is processed, please cancel the payment due to their fraudulent claims & advertising

Latest update, I was notified today (27/08/2025) by email, ASB have reversed the transaction 🎉🎉

Total Scam!! Reported to Facebook if they will do anything is another issue. Do not buy anything from a link on FB. Cannot get a response to emails and no other way to contact them. AI sucks to be honest and FB is now full of it.

Feel like I have been scammed - no communications from supplier since have paid

Scam Chinesebased site using AI storefront images & a bogus back story, no contact phone number nir street address...nothing Auckland or New Zealand about them at all.

Clothing takes a month to arrive. Rain jackets are 100% plastic materials & Made in China and exact same ones available on Aliexpress for $37NZ.

Feel so stupid. I did Google before I placed my order and this didn’t come up at all. Upon receiving my order after a month wait and emailing them, the product is clearly a knock-off and very low standard. I almost threw it in the rubbish in disgust - get better quality from K-mart for half the price! Now to tell my Partner whose card was used!!

Its a scam, feel so silly because the website actually looks really fake too. Items coming from china - the bank should be able to get me a refund eventually.

This is exactly the same sob story as Aotearoa Boutique closing down sale which I fell for never receiving anything. I noticed on this crowds page they have the same picture of the jacket I thought I was buying off Aotearoa Boutique, for the same discounted price of $89. All they've done is copy and pasted the image of the jacket off the SHEIN website, which is now listed as $29. 😡

Negative 5 stars, scam, can't track order, just bullshit fakes. Dammitall I thought I was a bit more on to it. Haha more fool me.

I have just had a look at this websites refund policy and it says it doesn't do cancellations. I just spoke with my bank and they said the credit card companies (eg Visa) set these rules globally, which means this business can't just say they don't cancel orders.

The bank advised me to contact the business and ask for a cancellation and refund and then they have 10 days to do this. After that, if they haven't done it, then I'm to call my bank again and speak to the "Disputes and charge back team".

I hope this helps anyone who has failed to get their money back. The guy at the bank said that these kinds of websites rely on people to write off their losses thinking they can't get their money back. So, if you are one of those people, get in touch with your bank, they can help.
*UPDATE* I've successfully gotten a refund through the chargeback team at my bank. If you're been scammed, ask your bank to help!

Agree with the other reviews. Total scam. Products from China and extremely poor quality. Did anyone have any luck getting a refund on returns?

I placed an order for a leather jacket from “Kiwi Made Auckland”, which presents itself as a New Zealand-based company. However, after receiving the confirmation email, it became clear that the “item” is being shipped from China, and the company may not exist at all. I was charged in $USD and the IP address is located in California, USA. There is no transparency about the company’s actual location or operations. The domain was registered recently and lacks any verifiable business information, which raises serious concerns about its legitimacy.

Total scam chinese website. They didn't send the right jacket and then tried to drag out the returns process to avoid refunding,

Do not waste your time this is a scam site overpriced claiming to be New Zealand based quality wool products, IS NOT NZ WOOL is a cheap overseas knock off inferior quality cheap plastic and plastic pretending to be metal fastenings, the pictures are not accurate to what you receive,
They are definitely not based in New Zealand all overseas based with non people chat generated replies good luck trying to get in touch for returns or any refunds is a scam site

Don't waste any of hard earned money on a product and service with inferior quality and completely overpriced.
They don't accept returns or give you any return information so being able to exchange or return for a refund is delayed and seems to be a BOT reply asking for more information or alternative options so it seems they will not take returns or refund!
