Wonderful service. Floors look great. I have had two floors fitted, an light oak (the Newington) in my art studio, and more expensive dark oak with beautiful texture in my bedroom. I was amazed at how easy it was to choose the floor with the samples that Ed brought to the house. They were all spot on in terms of what I had briefed him about. The other incredible thing was how efficient the fitters were. They fitted out two whole rooms - a large bedroom with dressing room, plus a large studio room in a day. They arrived at 7am and left at about 9.30 at night - and hardly stopped for a break! Everyone says the finished product is beautiful and I am recommending Kite to all my friends.

Kite recently supplied all of the floors and clad the stairs for our split level town house, there was a lot to cover!

We chose to have our carpenters to fit the floor as it would be easier and more flexible as we moved through the house renovations.

Not only were we super please with the flooring but the carpenters were very impressed with the quality.

Kite were really responsive when we needed additional items and also when we perhaps a little over zealous with our measuring and had a little too much.

Kite was fairly proactive about the project to install a new flooring in my bedrooms, and the conversations with Andy and Ed gave us confidence that we were in good hands with respect to installing herringbone which we were incredibly excited about.

On the day of the installation I was told that the herringbone could not be installed, despite holding multiple site visits. All the material was left at home, bedrooms cleared only for us to be informed that the flooring we’ve wanted all along cannot be done.

This was then followed by the ordering of incorrect skirting causing further inconvenience, with the fitter even missing parts of the home. After months of ordeal, this project has now been completed with a floor which wasn’t what we initially wanted. All in all this has been an appalling experience, and even though Kite did make arrangements to cover up, I’d expect much better from a floor ‘expert’. Would caution anyone looking to install a flooring with Kite.

So happy with our Natural Oak Herringbone floor from the Kent Range. it's absolutely stunning and gets compliments from everyone. I would highly recommend Kite Flooring as a Company. Love how they handle both the Flooring as well as the installation all together so its easy. All super quick too, they were able to slot us in the following week after payment. The 2 installers were very polite clean and tidy and provided alot of helpful insight so our floor was laid the best way for the room. The only feedback i would say for going forward is 1) originally the sales guy said it would be one day of work for our small room but it ended up being 2, so we were charged for that so overall ended up quite expensive, it would have been good to have that information up front. Snd 2) good to let ypu know upfront if you are going for the option of taking the skirting boards off and replaced, they will need to take the radiator off as well, but they dont put it back on - so be prepared for this as well 😉 Other than those points, the floor is stunning which will provide the 'ooh' factor for years to come

Excellent experience. There were cheaper options out there but decided to go for kite and it was worth every penny in terms of service, communication, timeliness and more than anything else quality of the wood and the finish. Think no further and go with Kite!

The service has been very good from start to finish, they came and measured the space and brought samples so i could see how the flooring looked in the light. Customer services were also so communicative and quick to respond. They also stored the flooring for me for until i was ready. It was a really great experience and the flooring is beautiful.

Kite Flooring installed a light Oak Parquet in our living room, dining room and hallway and it's not only stunning but super hard wearing which was a big factor with kids, bikes and a dog... The whole process from the quoting and choosing the right floor/finish to the installation was seamless and easy. The fitting team were excellent, arrived and finished when they said they would and really seemed to care about not only doing a great job but also doing it in a clean, neat and tidy way. As expected with a period property some things came up when it was time to install, any issues were dealt with in a super constructive way. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely in love with our new floors! Thank you Kite and especially Ed. They transformed our home. Professional, tidy, friendly, absolute experts in what they do and also such lovely team. Our house was a bit of a challenge being old Victorian house with uneven floors and walls, our original floor boards were in really bad condition. However, this didn’t stop Kite team - they found solutions for us. Our floors are just stunning. Can’t wait to use them again when we do kitchen and loft extensions.

KITE have supplied flooring on a number of jobs I have worked on. They are so helpful, quick to respond to enquiries and always attentive should any issues arise. Their product range is excellent and they have access to top quality suppliers in Belgium and across the world, but without the hefty price tag some other branded retailers have. I have some very happy clients thanks to them! I cannot recommend Ed and the team enough. Oh, they do carpets too!

To begin with, I tried 20+ flooring stores independent and nationwide chains. I didn't come across anyone with a product knowledge similar to Ed of Kite Flooring. His passion for his product is what drove me to buy the flooring from Kite Flooring. Independent operation and customer focus is of primary importance to Ed and his colleagues. From the time I ordered the flooring to the time it got delivered Ed kept me informed of what is going to happen and when it is going to happen.

I think Ed is one of those rare entrepreneurs who visualises the customers needs and works in delivering on those. I would definitely recommend Kite flooring for any project, their quality and standard is amazing.

Fantastic experience with Kite. We had a visit pre-decision when samples were brought to the house so we could see them in the room - and they gave excellent advice about the best choices for us (without imposing on our decision making process). We are SO happy with the floor - it looks amazing and the quality is off the charts. Fitting was really efficient too.
