An excellent experience from start to finish. Helpful advice on choosing the right fire, beam and hearth. The guys doing most of the work - Joe and Chris- helped by Olly and Gary were all great. Special mention for Joe who was very professional and had great attention to detail. They worked so hard and were careful and considerate. I’m delighted with the result. The fire starter kit and glove were the icing on the cake! If I wanted to find a fault I would have liked an email or phone call a week before the work started just to confirm that the booked dates were still ok. The follow up phone call to check I was happy was great. Definitely 5 stars!

From estimate to fitting was a friendly and simple process. Everything was on time with a minimum of inconvenience on the one day of fitting. Site was tidied up and all cleared away. Price paid was as the estimate. Could not ask for more. The stove has been running for a month now without any problems.

A thoroughly competent and professional service from 'advice and guidance' on the purchase of a new stove, through to the removal of the old one, the repair and renovation of the chimney stack, and the installation of the new stove. Fitters were very clean and tidy and did a brilliant job knocking out the old fireback and fitting a Hobbit stove within my original cast iron surround. Will definitely use this company again and totally recommend them.

We knew we wanted a stove to replace our open fire for 4 compelling reasons: heat efficiency, fuel efficiency, ease of lighting, especially when the wind would be blowing the smoke back down the chimney, and health concerns over breathing in the particulates. We had, off and on, been trying to buy a stove for about 6 years but the vendors we found in Kent did not make this easy. It was not one thing but a collection – making the process seem more complicated than it should, communicating doubt when they needed to broadcast certainly – particularly over such things as timings, not returning phone calls or turning up for site visits. Nothing major, but each, in its way made it easier for us to press the mental mañana button and shelve the process until the next summer.

This is where Kent Heating Solutions are so tremendous. They are completely on top of the whole process. This is something that I think you only get when you have oodles of enthusiasm for what you are doing and how you do it. They have thought about each step and how one relates to another, they employ people who know what they are talking about and who do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it. We had got to the point where the thought of having workmen in our house requires you to steal yourself for a whole new set of abuses, outrages and stress. None of this with Kent Heating Solutions. They were a joy and all done in time for autumn.
