Kenco Smooth has always been my coffee of choice but the change in recipe is awful. Changing to nescafe after years of being a kenco fan.

We bought Kenco Millicano for years - it was much better than that bitter Nescafe Azera that I wanted to avoid. Now Kenco have changed their lovely freeze dried coffee granules to the same bitter powder, and it tastes like a*se. They seem to be gaslighting their own customers, saying “our taste panel found it better”. Rubbish! Customer lost. Give your money men a kick in the shins please. I wont be back!

I have bought Kenco rich coffee for over 25 years. It seems they have changed the recipe and it's now simply awful. It's bitter to the point that I thought the milk I had put in it had gone sour. There looks like mud at the bottom of the cup when you drink it.
It's bad enough that the jar size had changed by 10 grams but this so called new recipe is unforgivable.
I certainly won't be buying it again!!

We have bought Kenco Milicano both caffeinated and decaff for years and always bought in bulk. I have just restocked both and am very disappointed. Neither are good. I don’t like powder and the intense 9 is far too bitter and the Americano 7 is insipid. The decaff is not nearly as nice as the previous version. The standard response to messages like this is that the tasting testers all liked it. But it seems that your loyal customers don’t. I won’t buy Kenco again.

Have bought the smooth & rich for years. Now the taste is absolutely awful,scum around rim of cup,not dissolving, and what is left in bottom of cup....I describe as mud!!
Took the other jars that had bought (after opening the one started to use) back to where I purchased.
They were reluctant to refund or exchange at first,citing that there was no recall on product from Kenco.
Persevered and got both a refund & exchange,as did have proof of purchase for some.
I was NOT about to throw £20 + of coffee in the bin!!
Whoever thought that their new recipe change was better than original is completely delusional.
Kenco.....read the reviews if you dare,respond if you dare.
Is anyone asking why their sales are declining? If not, then they should be!!!!

Purchased kenco rich for years. At first I thought it was just a change in packaging but first cup i noticed the difference and that reciepe had changed. Sorry I dislike the new version and have changed to a different coffee. I think you have made a mistake changing as really is not nice

I have always bought Kenco Rich Roast but not anymore, your new recipe is rubbish, it does not taste nice at all, the sludge in the bottom
of the mug, the shrinking of the jar, why change it? to save money??

Kenko Millicano Intense had been my go to coffee for years. This new powdered recipe is not a patch on the former and I don't like the taste. Why have you done this?
Sorry , but I won't be purchasing this this again.

Terrible replacement for millicano original - won’t buy Kenco again

Someone in R&D needs the sack. Coffee taste bad and leaves a sh*t stain in the cup. Need to find a different brand.

What have you done to kenco smooth. It tastes disgusting now and there is a dark sludge at the bottom of the cup. Time to find an alternative. If it wasn't broken.....then you shouldn't have changed it . A lot of customers will change as this coffee is now of extremely poor quality

I find that the new Kenco Smooth Coffee is much less rich in taste. In fact I cannot detect much of a coffee taste.
The new jar design makes it hard to secure the lid first time.
I think that this whole thing is a case of: 'If it ain't broke don't fix it'
This is such a shame. It was a great coffee taste...

Kenco why mess with a proven recipe. We are just on our last jar of the new recipe of Kenco smooth. After two months of bitter taste & sludge that remains in mugs after consumption we've had enough. Never again, shame on you Kenco for changing what was a faultless recipe, and weight.

Disappointed. Been drinking Kenco smooth for years. Now it tastes bad and I'll be changing to something else. Sad day

This coffee now tastes awful. It was my go to brand but the addition of 10% roast and ground coffee has completely ruined the experience. The taste testers clearly didn’t finish the cup to find the revolting residue.

What on earth have kenco done. The coffee is now like brown tasteless sludge

I have been drinking Kenco for approx 20 years however I have now thrown several jars away and will no longer purchase. It is now a disgusting, undrinkable product in my opinion. I am trying other brands and currently Douwe Egberts and L'or and favourites. What have you done Kenco?!

I am so disappointed in the 'new improved' millicano intense - it is actually really unpleasant to drink. They've retained the premium price, but wowzers... it is now very poor quality. Gutted! After many years of it being my top choice for my morning coffee, I will not be buying it ever again. And, it seems I am not alone. Poor show Kenco.

As a long time drinker of Kenco Instant Rich I reluctantly accept the cunning price increase by way of a 5% reduction in the contents but I can't accept the terrible experience of drinking the new concoction. Witness the sludge that is now left in the bottom of the cup, the scum mark around the top and horrible bitterness of taste. I'm moving on as I believe many will.

kenco your coffee is now disgusting , just sorry I have 3 jars left to use . shrinkflation as well as a different recipe . Recipe for disaster in my opinion. I wont be lining your pockets anymore .
