My daughter has been to Kate’s swimming school for just over a term and her confidence and ability in the water has improved greatly. I’m thrilled with her progress especially during the week’s intensive course which we booked for the summer holidays. Kate is an excellent teacher, who works really hard to build the children’s confidence and trust, giving them a secure space to practice. The classes are a lovely size, the children get lots of practice and don’t spend too much time waiting for a turn and getting cold (a problem we’ve had with other swim schools.) After initially refusing to get in the water, my daughter soon started to love her lessons and we can’t wait to be back for our next term. Thank you Kate

So impressed with how my daughter has developed in just attending 4 days of the summer intensive course. She went from holding her nose and not being confident putting her head under water to swimming under water and you can see how proud of herself she is. We have Richard to thank for this huge boost and have now booked weekly lessons to continue her progress.

My son has had 1:1 swimming lessons for a year now and the difference has been brilliant to see. His confidence in and around the water has grown enormously and his skills and technique keep improving too. He looks forward to every single lesson because they are fun, engaging and genuinely enjoyable. His instructor tailors each session perfectly to his ability and drive, pushing him just enough to keep his progress moving forward while keeping him fully engaged and motivated.

I have recommended Kate's Swimming to many people and I will keep doing so.

The instructor Richard was fantastic. Calm, patient and clear. Was great to see both our children focussed and engaged, enjoying the experience at the same time.
Same with any group lessons, some frustration around other more capable children appearing not to engage, which was a distraction, especially towards the end of the week. It wouldn’t put me off booking again though.
The pool itself was spotless in a beautiful setting, nice and quiet.

Was very anxious meeting people after having my child. The small classes really helped me socialise with other mums. Really friendly environment and teachers are great.

Quick communication and straight forward booking for lesson, summer lessons as well.

Both my son and daughter have attended classes at Kate’s swimming, the progress they’ve made has been remarkable. They’ve grown from being hesitant in the water to confidently diving in, thanks to the supportive and patient teaching team that are always so warm and welcoming.

The Linton pool is lovely —clean, well maintained with a gorgeous view over the Weald.

We tried 2 other swim schools before discovering Kate’s and the lovely pool at Staplecross and the team at Kate’s are brilliant! Small group sizes with 2 instructors in the water with them so they can all swim pretty continuously so not spending lots of time getting cold and bored at the side. The pool is warm and clean. Best of all my boys have had fun and learnt to swim well and confidently! Thank you Kate’s team!

My 6 year old daughter wasn’t a big fan of water, especially having her hair washed. Even after a few lessons with Charlotte her confidence grew. After a year of swimming lessons she is like a fish who loves water, especially swimming under water.

Wonderful swim school, beautiful clean pool. Both my older children learned to swim under these instructors' careful support.

Richard and Emily are a great team. Emily in particular Emily has been incredibly encouraging and patient with my eldest daughter who tends to lack confidence in herself. We are thrilled with the lessons and highly recommended for swim lessons!

My son started with Kate’s Swimming three years ago, a hesitant beginner. However, he is now a confident swimmer and lover of the water, thanks to all the wonderful, patient and friendly instructors at Kate’s Swimming!

The small fun classes in a warm pool at Leeds Village really boosted his enthusiasm for the water and now at the larger Sutton Valence pool, his confidence, stamina and technique has grown!
My daughter also now joins him in classes, improving her technique and physical skill for her D of E award.

We are very happy with Kate’s Swimming School. The teachers are great, very patient, and supportive, and the small class sizes really help the children build confidence and make good progress. There are also various locations, which makes it very convenient. Most importantly, the children truly enjoy their lessons and always look forward to going. Highly recommended!

Our children have been attending Kate Swimming at Linton and Sutton Valance for the past three years, and we couldn’t be happier! Every teacher they’ve worked with has been nothing short of amazing. Kates swimming is simply the best at building confidence with children in the water! Ellie is now teaching our 3rd child who is also loving swimming at 1 years old. Our 2 older boys were swimming by the time they were 3 and we are forever grateful especially when we are away on a holiday! Great swimming instructors, having taught both of my girls. Always thinking of new innovative games to keep the children engaged but teaching them skills at the same time.

My daughter can get quite anxious sometimes with new things, each time we've been for swimming lessons with Kate's Swimming the teachers are all so good with her to help build her confidence. I find the option to have 1:1 lessons in school holidays really helpful for that dedicated time with the teacher

Charlotte from Kate’s Swimming is a brilliant teacher to our five year old Rose who was nervous of water and couldn’t swim. Rose is growing in confidence and making progress every single week due to Charlotte’s coaching and encouragement.
