Good service but delivery is a bit expensive

I spoke to a few different staff members to try and find the product I was looking for. I wasn't placing an especially big order, but every single person I dealt with, from the store staff to the yard staff, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I will absolutely be back next time I need more materials.

I ordered cement, sand and aggregate on click and collect. The guy at the depot gathered up the bags and loaded it into my pickup truck. He wasn't sure where the right aggregate was, but wasn't long in finding out.
I'll be back for more soon.

Great delivery, on time with no fuss.

Very pleased with the service from J W Grant on a couple of occasions now for fencing and paving projects at my new home. Very efficient and speedy delivery. Do check your spam folder though as the delivery date email went in there so I didn’t know I had a scheduled date for delivery until the text from the driver on the day. Not J W Grant’s fault though.

Purchased smooth sandstone slabs from JW GRANTS PAISLEY, no advice given about maintaining etc at the time of purchase, however if you buy outdoor slabs you expect them to stand up to outdoor conditions. After a day of our landscaper laying them he noticed that the leaves had stained a couple of them! Fitter advised he had never seen this before, or happen as quickly Contacted Davie at JW grants sales who basically said they had taken a global view from google and noticed we had a lot of trees in our garden and surrounding area? And we’re not offering any resolution , basically they could do nothing. Really unhelpful. Very argumentative when I tried to explain the situation. would not recommend going near the place. No resolution offered, now taking legal advice. Spent far too much on this to let it go.

Great service as always, came home from work and the materials were left exactly where I'd asked them to be, saving me the job of moving several tonnes of material. Unlike other companies JW Grant really do listen to their customers and go above and beyond.

JWGrant just finished delivering all the timber for my DIY deck rebuild. It's all in good shape and to spec, there are no missing or incorrect items, and the delivery guy was excellent, managing to place the two big stacks exactly where I needed them on our drive. I just cannot fault them, and if your order is substantial you can make some good savings vs. other suppliers. Really excellent.

Placed an order for collection. Payment on line was very difficult and on day 4 of trying, I was finally successful. Got little acknowledgement of when to collect and called 4 days later to see if collection that day was possible.I was told it was. However upon collection (after having paid the full amount at placing the order) we were told not all items are available. Still waiting on a call to advise me to collect the missing item.With such service levels, why would we want to support a local independent company? B&Q here we come! Real shame that

Paisley staff are just phenomenal !
It can be daunting as a woman entering an establishment normally frequented by professional tradesmen, but the guys here are always pleased to see you & very helpful without being condescending, I kid them on that they are fluent in Girlish 😄
They all help each other out & seem to be a very happy & efficient team.

Availability, cost and delivery were all spot on.

When the delivery driver came he went to my neighbours house. I went out and asked if this was for number 34 and he said no it’s for number 36. I gave the name and the items being delivered and he said yes that’s it so I said it’s for number 34. He told me that number 36 was on his line and then said 34, 36 what’s the difference. I found him very rude and abrupt and the difference is that he went to the wrong address.

Value for money. Very good delivery.
