We have new puppy who joined our household this week. We booked to have his 3rd inoculation at Jolleys Bridgwater in Somerset. We travelled a 2 hour round journey as we didn't have a Jolleys locally. The staff refused to inoculate our puppy even though our puppy's inoculations were prepaid for by the breeder because they said we should have come the day before. Jolleys Bridgwater doesn't have a clinic on Thursdays only Fridays. I booked the appointment online with Jolleys on Tuesday. No-one explained to us before that we couldn't get the inoculation done. Jolleys told us that we would have to start ALL the inoculations again from the beginning AND pay for them eventhough our breeder insisted we use Jolleys because she had paid in advance for the full 3 inoculations.
I will never use Jolleys again, not for their pet clinic or their store. We were so annoyed we wasted 21/2 hours to be told by a trainee vet that we had to start the process all over again even though our puppy had received 2 inoculations by Jolleys previously. We were 15 hrs too late according to Jolleys staff, although the documents didn't show that; we only have their word for it. Avoid avoid, avoid!

Visiting the shop whilst on holiday in the area, the staff were extremely polite and helpful.On my first visit, I bought some trays of the “Lifestage” wet dog food , uncertain whether one one of my two dogs would eat it as she is rather “picky” with her food .Surprise surprise, after a few tentative sniffs and tastes , she devoured the bowlful, guarding her bowl from her sister, until it was clean , polished and totally devoid of any of its previous contents. This occurred with all the varying flavours - so much so I made a second visit to replenish stocks until I went home.
I was also pleased to see that the store were asking customers to support the local dog rescue home by buying a tray of meat for them with their purchases. This was done as a polite request and in no way did I feel as if I was being “forced” to donate. I sincerely hope you had a great success in this appeal.

We went in for a few items and found them all. Our dog is on heat and the staff kindly fitted her with the correct size pants. Other large pet shops just guessed the size and did not help as much.

Products were easily located, and competitively priced.The staff were very polite and helpful. I was given assistance with carrying heavy goods to my car, without requesting it
