Service has been down for a month this is a joke I keep messaging them every single day it’s been over 2 months now. Same thing service is down! PLEASE AVOID

Imagine being told for a whole month our system is down and we can’t offer a quote. That is a sign of something fishy! I came here and saw in only 2023 thousands of people having horrific encounter with this company. Thank God i dodged a bullet ,i am deleting them from my list 😂 thank you to everyone for looking out for others

Worst insurance or whatever they claim to be that ever exists. You would think as an insurer they would help you when it comes to the things they cover you for such as accidents and emergencies. At my accident they take all my details to then send me a letter the following day on how they are going to refuse my claim as they believe I was using the car for work, when asked to check the calls it turns out they went back back on their decision so I was not in the wrong, they then took 4 months to actually settle my claim I believe trying their best to find an inconsistency to refuse again. Also having made sure I had drive other cars on the policy they then remove this on a sly without any notification of letting me know. Then a car I was driving was seized and I had to pay out of pocket to take from impound and get temp cover with impound insurance and at the fault of Rooster again and it is 5 months now and still I am made to wait for their mistake and a financial loss I incurred. I even got a reply from West Midlands Police to say they have dropped the matter as they can confirm it was the insurers fault. Here I am being made to wait and wait and still to this day NOBODY from rooster has had the decency of recovering my loss. The complaints team is a waste of space. They are so quick to bully you if you ever miss a payment but its is ok for you to be made to look like a fool and they can just make you wait all they want, even in their own errors. Absolutely disgusting, you cannot be a reputable company with this kind of treatment.

My employer requested that I add business insurance to my insurance policy. I thought I would have to pay more and that it’d be expensive but I didn’t have to really. There was no price change and the premium I’m paying at present is half of what I’d ordinarily have to pay with other insurers

Did the test drive for 1 month got a really good score and got quoted £107 a month when other companies quoted me 75 a month..

My experience with Rooster Insurance has been incredibly disappointing. Despite being a customer for a year, they failed to offer me a renewal quote due to their new underwriters. When I inquired about the reason, their response was unsatisfactory – simply stating that they couldn't provide that information. It's disheartening to be treated this way after being loyal to them. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this insurance company.

They advertise by saying that the driveing assessment will help you get a cheaper insurance but they operate as any other insurance they just act like they are better by putting on a fake mask like this driving tracking will help you get easier quotes and that but it’s unless they are like them all money suckers

The process being fully app-based was great too and made everything so simple.

I'm utterly disappointed with my car insurance company's abysmal service. Despite the accident not being my fault, they've failed to provide my well-deserved no claim bonus for the past 4-5 months. Their excuse of "waiting for redirect" is nothing more than a flimsy attempt to shirk responsibility. This ordeal has left me unable to purchase a new car, causing immense stress and frustration. Their incompetence and lack of urgency are truly astounding. Stay away from this company if you value your sanity and your hard-earned money.
While this car insurance company may boast about offering competitive prices, their true colors shine through when it comes to honoring promises. Waiting months for a no claim bonus after an accident that wasn't even my fault is beyond unreasonable. The supposed "best prices" pale in comparison to the frustration and stress caused by their inability to deliver on their commitments. Choosing to stay with this company for the sake of a potential discount is a decision I deeply regret. The toll it's taken on my peace of mind and ability to move forward is not worth any amount of savings.

Couldn't offer me a quote due to my car and age not fitting the requirements but Jack on the live chat service was great and checked a good few cars for me. 10/10 customer service and gave us a good giggle.

Ultimately they couldn’t give me a quote as my profession wasn’t covered. It’s a little annoying having to go through the whole process and not receive a quote as I feel like the idea is good but they could have mentioned that upfront.

Made everything super easy, just a good service tbh.
Saved me loads of money and give me a quote based on my driving.
