We worked with Heather at JM Workforce supporting us to recruit a Responsible Individual. From the outset communication was great. As a provider and director of an EBD children’s home, I often rely on JM Workforce Services for experienced and dedicated staff to support my home in the South East. Their schedule 2 safer recruitment checks are vigorous and in line with the regulations. I highly recommend Mr James McCabe, experienced consultant and a provider for HR, Fact Finding investigations and general operational guidance.

A responsive service - the consultancy service has been first class . As well as providing support , it has been an educational experience as well.

James and Pat have been avaliable whenever I have needed them and provided guidance and support whenever I have needed it .

DO NOT WORK FOR THIS AGENCY!

This is not a good agency to work for they over promise and under deliver, they try to convince you not to get a permanent job as they will have shifts for you weekly but fail to even give you 1 shift a week, they are bias with certain agency workers by giving them multiple shifts weekly and then telling you that they haven’t had any shifts come in. When they do finally try to give you a shift they manipulate you to attend shifts not within your availability and when your not able to they use that as an excuse not to give you future shifts.

This is a review of 2 halves. Personal insight and professional knowledge.
Firstly, I know both of the directors very well, particularly Pat. I have had the pleasure of managing numerous residential children’s homes, with Pat working as my deputy manager.
The passion and drive to deliver outstanding services to our young people was heavily spearheaded by Pat.
We knew to deliver exceptional care, we needed to have an exceptional team.
Pat excelled in that staff development - developing bespoke behaviour support plans for each young person and ensuring the staff team were appropriately trained to ensure each young persons individual needs were met.

James also developed his own very successful career in children’s care with the same passion and drive to create exceptional teams to deliver outstanding care.

There is no care workforce out there that has both directors understanding first hand the needs of staffing in residential care.

I am proud to say that my organisation were one of the first to utilise the services of JM Workforce when I needed urgent staffing - as I knew the agency staff supplied would most certainly not be ‘just a body’ on the shop floor.

Their staff are well trained, passionate, skilled, experienced and knowledgeable, from a positive culture which is heavily cascaded from the directors!!

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending JM workforce to any provider requiring staff.

Working as a self employed member of staff on behalf of JM is great.
There are always shifts available , the admin team are friendly and helpful when dealing with them.
Pat is always on time and it's a straight forward process.
Do the hours get the sheet signed and submit it .
Time and a quarter on bank holidays.

JM workforce have been an amazing help. As soon as i ask for a shift to be covered they are on it! all shifts are always covered within a very short amount of time and the people that work there are so friendly and eager to help.

Very responsive, can fill gaps for staffing very quickly and there is always someone that you can get in touch with. Really impressed. SC2 checks are thorough, which is always extremely helpful when working to tight deadlines and urgent responses

Really helpful agency, with some very strong support workers. Our young person actually lists one of JM's team as one of their favourite staff members, and it is very refreshing to have a company that actually has a 24-hour contact line.

Started in April 2024, all my consultants are very helpful, kind, always tries they best in booking me shifts where I am comfortable with, gives me a chance to experience new placements, all are very friendly have meet most of my consultants face to face, still have to meet the others. You have to be fully trained to start working, they make sure you are trained.

Great at communication, updating us. always finds cover no matter how last minute. staff that have came have all been really good and i have had no issues. very reliable and approachable
