Classes were great and equipment is great

Excellent info and guidance from a charming young lady.

The gym itself is ok has everything u need but could have more cleaning stations, but what has been amazing for me is the personal trainer I found there in total I have lost 44kg and had skin removal surgery now started back at the gym to tone, staff are mostly friendly but normally there is always a few machines not in working order

A huge gym with everything you need for a great workout, staff are all friendly and the atmosphere is really good. A really nice gym

The only negative for me is its too far to travel to make this my full time gym, but I'm hoping JD in Basildon open soon so I can move there as this gym is so needed in Basildon

Great atmosphere and the gym is ALWAYS spotless and clean. All the equipment it's always put back it seems too!

All the staff there do a great job. The changing rooms are great too.

Great gym, has more or less every machine you need and in quantity too so you’re not waiting to use equipment. Changing rooms are always clean and look fantastic.

Clean, friendly staff. Large areas with all different types of equipment to target all workouts. I really love coming to this gym, it’s become my favourite. I 100% recommend

Would be good if they had a large tire flip to use at the gym

After getting over my anxiety of actually going into the gym, spoke to an employee (forgot to ask for his name) and he was super helpful in showing me where everything I needed was and how i should get started being a new comer. After this my anxiety washed away and I felt much more comfortable knowing that I was going to be around kind and supportive people and not be judged for my appearance. Still some nerves about certain things but that is more personal rather the experience in the gym. Very happy so far.

In summary a very good gym, lots of equipment, great vibe! Just need more flexible opening times and more locations.

Pros;
The lighting, I don’t know why by the dimness of the lighting just makes me feel more into my workout. More relaxed, more concentration, and able to enjoy it.
The equipment, there’s literally everything and anything you can imagine.
Clean, always feels clean.
The range of classes, a lot of choice if that’s what you’re into.
The range and amount of weights, I fall on the lower end of the free weights. There’s plenty! Previous gyms I’ve been to only have one set of 4kg, 6kg, 8kg, 10kg. But there’s multiples here which is great.

Cons;
Opening hours. If you’re used to 24hr gyms and going when you like, it’s an adjustment to consider having to go before closing. Particularly at the weekend when they close earlier (that’s usually when I prefer to train later)
The amount of gyms, this JD is local to me, but my next nearest is too far to travel. I miss having the option of multiple local gyms depending on where I am/what I’m doing that day.

Very clean gym, lots of equipment, lots of classes to go to , the staff are all friendly and helpful

I have done 5 classes same instructor and she was outstanding

The personal trainer has been a great help to me with my learning disability and my wrist problems

its a no nonesense Gym with a lot of equipment , only downside is id like the music to be banging out louder .. i dont go there to chat
