Slow and unable to contact
I have ordered from JavaHub before and they were really good (fast, good prices and friendly) but my most recent experience has been totally different. Originally I was just asking for a VAT receipt for my purchases (over £1k in products) and haven’t been able to get an appropriate response. I have sent 5/6 emails requesting these with non luck. Moreover, I'm growing very tiered of waiting for my products. I ordered a month ago and they still haven't been dispatched, I'm now due to be opening my coffee shop with no grinder ect and missing out on trade. I recieved an email stating that my products would be with me last week 'at the latest' in their words, but they still haven't been dispatched.
Willing to accept that that Javahub may be experiencing delays because of brexit, but the lack of responsiveness, and accurate communication is very frustrating.
If you're a small business owner, who is relying on the equipment to trade, I would suggest that you purchase your products elsewhere.

I was able to contact the team eventually and spoke with the fulfilment manager- I raised my concerns and he reacted promptly and honestly to resolve the issues- I was fairly compensated.
SCAMMERS!!!! AVOID!!!!
I cannot believe it has come to this but here I am. This company is a total scam! I ordered a coffee machine back in March and it was taking ages to dispatch. I asked for them to cancel and not dispatch and they did, got back to me immediately saying that a refund will be issued. Waited the 14 days, nothing. Contacted them again to get another message from Megan saying she would pass it onto her payment manager. Nothing since, I have contacted twice about it, opened a dispute, and now I have threatened to contact trading standards. Let’s see how far I get. What an absolute rip off during a pandemic! £500+ is A LOT of money in today’s economy. I will not let this go.

Had to find a new coffee machine and used JavaHub for the supply of a Moccamaster select; straightforward to use website, competitive prices and a good buying experience. Fast delivery and well packaged, would definitely use again.

I placed the order for a Beko CEP5152B espresso machine on Friday night, received a mail saying it will be with me on Tuesday. I received my order on the said Tuesday on time. Love it when companies actually do what they say. Machine came in well packed and works amazingly. Hopefully they will continue to deliver on their promises as with a great coffee machine comes great coffee beans and powders.
Took money won't reply to emails
Same boat as everyone else, Ordered on the 21st April and its been 15 day's today, Sent emails but no reply, Why they can't add a statment explaining what is going on weather it be brexit, covid or both, to take your money and then not responed is crazy. I think this is a new thing for the company but will have lasting effects for them. Java Hub sort it out...

I recently made a purchase from Javahub and received a confirmation email telling me they would inform me when my item was shipped! 7 days later and no email so I emailed asking where it was the reply was they had none in stock until the following Monday by which time it would be nearly 2 weeks, I requested a refund only to be told this would take 10 to 14 days!!! How a company can actively sell you something they don't have in stock take your money on the same day make no correspondence except to confirm my order until I contacted them is beyond me but to take 2 weeks to refund my money is just a JOKE!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!! After coming to trust pilot to post a review I find I am not the only one to experience this same treatment! If you want coffee products I strongly suggest you shop elsewhere.

Ordered an aeropress coffee maker which was showing as in stock on the JavaHub website. Received an email with my order number. I allowed adequate time for shipping and when this date had passed, I checked my order on their website to be shown it was unfulfilled. I contacted them through Live Chat to be told that it would be shipped. More time went by and I was continued to be told the same thing. Reading reviews, I began to get the sinking feeling that I would never see the product or my money again. I requested the cancellation of my order and a refund to be generated. I was told, again through live chat that my order was cancelled and a refund was authorised. I have not received my money and now the company are refusing to engage in conversation with me and are actively ignoring my communications.
Honestly, pay the extra and go somewhere else. I only spent £27 so it’s not the end of the world. Other people here have spent several hundred and are in the same situation.
Pact coffee are reliable and the likes of Amazon too. Seriously - don’t buy from JavaHub. Ever.
I have now raised a dispute with my bank to get my money back.

I have now received my refund although there has been no further contact with JavaHub apart from to contest this review as not genuine. I maintain my review and score of this company. I will never contemplate shopping at JavaHub ever again.
Dreadful service
Dreadful service. Impossible to reach by phone.
I spent £ 145 on April 8 for a coffee brewer. Delivery was said to be 10 days. When I chased after the 10 days were up, I was told 10 days had not passed. I was chasing on the 11th day, so the lady who I spoke to said it would be despatched. Then I am told out of stock, but assured they would keep me updated.
I was having none of that nonsense. This firm tells lies.
I requested a refund to my credit card, and the email confirming the refund was dated April 20, and said refunds can take up to 14 days to process.
Surprise surprise .. May 5 & no sign of the £ 145 refund to my credit card.
Deal with this company at your own risk.
Awful Awful Awful customer service - do not buy
I placed an order for a Sage Duo Temp Pro coffee machine at the end of February (£370). I received no order confirmation until I chased for one myself.
I recieved an email a week later telling me that my order had been cancelled as they were unable to fulfill it (it seems odd to mark a product as 'in stock' on your website while clearly not having said stock at all).
They offered me a refund, which of course I accepted, as the alternative appears to have been to just wait and hope for some stock to appear, and this refund was supposedly processed the same afternoon as the cancellation took place.
I waited the stated 3-10 days for my refund to come through... nothing. I give a couple days extra for any covid related technical difficulties... nothing. So I contact them through their online chat and recieve a very polite (but clearly scripted) message apologising. A director will be in contact and the refund will be reprocessed... Wonderful.
Or it would have been wonderful had either of those things happened (neither did).
This lead to a string of events that felt like groundhod day. No refund, I try and contact them, canned response, no refund, repeat. Until I start to recieve no response at all through their chat... hmm.
At this point I try to contact them through other means; instagram, facebook (both of which they seem active on and would definitely see a private message), through their support email (which gives zero support and no replies) and over the phone over a number that you have to dig hard to find and rings through to answer phone no matter which option you choose (ironically directing you to contact them through their online chat).
After 2 months of this happening and recieving absolutely zero meaningful customer support, zero products received and zero sign of a refund showing in my account, I try the web chat again, in an incognito window with a different email. Success! After months of being ignored I finally get a canned response again (which makes it seem like they'd blacklisted me after they decided they had no intention of helping).
Naturally, this came to nothing and as soon as I requested a refund the chat was silent once more.
I have eventually had to charge the purchase back on my credit card and left it to them to resolve the issue. I tried to be as polite and understanding as I possibly could throughout this saga, and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt given their small size and that times are hard during the current covid pandemic, however this experience has been truly awful and I could not be paid to shop with Javahub ever again.
If I could give less than 1 stars then I absolutely would. I can not stress how much I would encourage anyone reading this to shop literally anywhere else.

Read the reviews of Java Hub on the coffee forum before purchasing anything from this company.
Unfortunately I am not alone on this but I paid for a Sage Filter machine in March , after 3 weeks waiting , considering they advertise 2-3 working days delivery time, I asked for a refund .
3 weeks later no refund, despite chasing numerous times I have been fobbed off a few times but now I am being compleley ignored.
As others I have no option but to see if the bank can recover my money, if not try through legal lines.
I have never had to chase my money before, and a shame trying to support the smaller independents and end up being taken as a fool .
As an update my bank has now refunded my money and is chasing Javahub , if you are in the same situation approach your bank as this seems the only way to get your money back from these shameful people.

I wish I had read all the other reviews on here before ordering a Sage coffee machine, I wouldn't be surprised if this company was little more than an automated email and payment processing. I'm shocked that their website is still operational and luring people in false promises. Please can every REPORT THEM TO TRADING STANDARDS, so that we can bring these scammers down!!!

I ordered a coffee machine in February and after almost 1 month and half of complaining and getting new excuses every time they told me they couldn’t supply it and I have now been waiting in a refund for 3 weeks and their customer service fail to answer my queries and keep adding delay, be careful and don’t order from them

I haven't had the best experience using Java Hub. I ordered a Sage espresso machine on the 13th April, and had no communication of a delivery date after placing my order. I had to reach out to the company to find out when it would arrive. I was told it would take 7-10 days.... After 11 days passed I emailed them again only to be told that there was a supply issue and I could be waiting over 3 weeks, no specific date given as to not "give any false promises". I then asked for a refund, explaining this wouldn't work for me as it was a birthday present. They were very quick to respond when asking about dates and the hold up with the order, but as soon as you ask for your money back they ignore you.
The communication from this company is atrocious. Having to email them to gain any updates on your order isn't great and then as soon as you ask for a refund they ignore your emails.
I wish I read the reviews of this company before ordering from them. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!
I understand small businesses struggling in these times but that's no excuse for poor customer service. Why advertise something on your site if you don't have it, and why make your customers email you about the progress of their order? The main issue is Java Hub still owes me money for the product I didn't receive, and will no longer communicate.

I haven't had a good experience with this company. I ordered a travel mug with some ground coffee for a friend's birthday. I was told that I will receive notification when the order is shipped (5-7 days due to delays because of COVID-19), but I have not heard anything. I have emailed multiple times, each time these have been ignored. I have still NOT received any information or update on my order, when it will be shipped and when it will arrive. Poor customer service and just a horrible experience - I just wish I had read all of the reviews before ordering.

I placed an order for a present, i was informed dispatch would be 3-5 days and advised the item was in stock, after waiting the 5 days i was then informed there would be a delay but a cheaper product was in stock for delivery & some complementary coffee would be sent, i declined this offer and instead asked for a refund, i am hoping this refund will be processed and come through, i only wish i had read other reviews before ordering. So I ordered a Sage Coffee Machine from Javahub at end of February 2021. After 4 weeks of waiting/ being strung along with false delivery times promises and "we've been let down by our suppliers" I was eventually cottoned on that it was never coming so request an immediate refund. 14 business day's later And a few email to the support team And one to the CEO ( Danny) That expected refund date has now been and gone and they are not responding to my messages. They truly feel like a con company - you can't even phone them! . The tone of their customer service (when you do eventually get through to someone) is robotic and they can't even keep to a basic service agreement or uphold consumer rights. I've even gone to trading standards as it's seems I'm not the only one they've mugged off and am now in the process with my Bank to process a charge back to claw my money back..... horrible experience so far
I am still waiting for a Moccamaster…
I am still waiting for a Moccamaster coffee machine ordered on 8th December 2020. Repeatedly told it was arriving from Europe, it was delayed, it had arrived and the latest e mail said expected the following week. Of course it never arrived.
I refuse to believe that despite the machines being made to order and Brexit delays that it should take this long. I’m now awaiting a reply to today’s email & hopefully the trusty customer service assistant Megan will answer promptly.
Maybe time for this company to be highlighted in national and social media for its unreliable customer service and not fulfilling orders.

Buying from the website was straightforward and easy to navigate. My delivery arrived quickly and was well packaged. There was a problem with the items and when I contacted Customer Services they dealt with it quickly and to my satisfaction.
