The worst service ever

The worst service ever , they trap U into buying the full price and then refuse to fix smallest issue , thought to buy more stuff , but never ever again , also another woman standing there who returned her phone and watch while she paid on installment no money was returned .posting the review on my Instagram and Snapchat hopefully 100k people will avoid this company .

Also their unlogical policy -if the product is open from its package U can't return it even if the item is damaged from before .talk about fairness .

I bought i phone 17 pro max last …

I bought i phone 17 pro max last December 2025 from jarir jubail and today i came to jarir bookstore mubaraz hofuf to complain about the cover,the pilipino guy name DENNIS was very helpful ,he explain to us everything and told us not to worry because warranty still valid.alhamdulilla they changed to brandnew cover and we left jarir bookstore smiling with a happy heart.

Not a new phone – box was already opened.

I had a very disappointing experience with Jarir Bookstore. I ordered a Xiaomi 15T Pro online and received a box that was clearly not factory sealed. Instead of original plastic wrapping, the box was closed with a local sticker, which was already damaged.
When I opened it, there was no screen protector on the phone and I even noticed dust on the screen — clear signs that the device had been opened before. This is unacceptable when selling a product as brand new at full price.
On top of that, the delivery service was very poor. I paid delivery charges but still received my order after 7 days. Other retailers provide free delivery and deliver within 2–3 days, which is much better service.
Although the phone itself is working fine, this kind of experience is not acceptable. Jarir should clearly inform customers if a product is open-box instead of selling it as new.
Overall, this was my worst experience, and I expected much better standards from Jarir.

I strongly advise against purchasing…

I strongly advise against purchasing electronics from Jarir Bookstore. I had an extremely disappointing experience with them. I ordered a Lenovo Yoga Pro 8 Aura Edition laptop on their online website on November 16, 2025, and received the product on November 22, 2025. Upon inspection, I noticed significant battery drainage issues.

I immediately raised a complaint with Jarir on November 27, 2025, well within their 10-day return policy. However, the customer service team failed to follow up on my complaint despite promising to do so. Every time I reached out for an update, I was told the issue would be addressed, but I was met with excuses and delays. Eventually, they claimed that my complaint was made outside the return period, even though I had submitted proof of delivery and initiated the complaint within the 10-day window.

Jarir has now refused to replace or return the defective laptop, despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue. I spent SAR 10,000 on a product that turned out to be faulty, and I feel completely taken advantage of.

My recommendation to everyone is to avoid purchasing any products from Jarir, as their customer service and after-sales support are subpar. I am now considering legal action to resolve this matter..

Jareer staff at Doha Mall

Hi
I went to exchange a Dell laptop which I bought at Jareer at Doha Mall branch. I met 2 guys .. I was discussing with a guy called Mr. Mujeeb who talked to me rudely and turned his back and walked away. The other one was a Filipino. His name was Felly, I guess. When I was discussing with him regarding Jareer returning policy of electric he spoke to me rudely and laughed loudly at my face. Such type of behaviour is not acceptable at all. I will never go shopping at Jareer at Doha Mall again.

Generally stressful but fine (and bad value) preorder experience

I preordered the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 on its announcement date through Jarir, and everything started well until the tracking page kept showimg the shipping date to be a passed day until suddenly my phone ringed and the new phone was promptly delivered. However, after preorders ended, the new bonuses for direct buying are higher and made the preorders feel like a scam.

Jarir's Poor Customer Service Experience

I am writing to express my disappointment with the level of customer service I recently experienced with your company. Unfortunately, my interaction with your staff fell far below what I would expect from a professional organization.

The employees I dealt with appeared to lack basic training, product knowledge, and the communication skills necessary to assist customers effectively. There was a clear absence of professionalism, and my concerns were either dismissed or met with unhelpful responses. This not only wasted my time but also left me questioning the credibility and standards of your company.

I strongly urge you to take this feedback seriously and address the evident gaps in staff training, customer service protocols, and overall accountability. A commitment to quality service should start with well-informed, respectful, and competent employees.

I hope to see significant improvements should I need to engage with your company again in the future.

So i asked them to replace the laptop but they asked to visit the service center in order to fixed this asap. But after the replacement i got two white colour spots on the new screen. Shockingly poor sevice

I was informed by reliable sources that Jarir bookstore was a well recognised Apple dealer in Saudi Arabia and offered excellent customer service. As such I used my AACSB points for one Jarir voucher to get 1 series 10 Apple Watch, additional strap, adapter, and series 4 noise cancelling ear pods. My first attempt was to place my order online, and after my multiple attempts failed, I went into the store on Prince Sultan Road in Jeddah where only the ear pods were available. It took over 30 minutes of waiting to be given this news! I was then directed to the Jarir store on Prince Majed street in Jeddah where the sales person informed me that all my items were available. He set the ear pods on the back bench for me while his colleague went to get the watch from the warehouse, and I was told to go to the accessories section to collect the additional strap. Having waited 45 minutes for the watch to arrive from the warehouse, we progressed to the till to pay, only to be told that an online order had come in for (my) EarPods and as they were the last pair in the store , they were given to the online order and I was told to return another day to get the ear pods that were put aside as part of my order. I explained that i lived 200 kms away, and needed to get my full order in one go as my jarir voucher could only be used in one go. The answer I received was this is the system in Jarir and yes, customer services defended their system. I left the Jarir store without any of my items, nor apology, and arrived home at 11 pm. My experience was exactly what you would never expect from Apple dealers, nor reputable, established businesses. I will never enter a Jarir bookstore again and I’m left wondering who to blame for my ordeal. It can’t be the sales person nor the customer services rep - they only do as they are trained to do. So, I lay the blame collectively at AACSB that offer Jarir bookstore vouchers, and Apple as they allow such poor establishments to sell their products, and the management of Jarir Bookstores.

Poor customer service, just ignored

I am currently in Jarir bookstore in yanbu trying to buy an Apple Watch Ultra 2. Currently had a good ignoring from staff for almost 40 minutes now. I can easily see why this company scores so low on trust pilot. Oh well sale lost onto Xtra where I hope I will have more luck.

I am surprised to see Jarir is selling Huawei phone where many apps does not work.
Many applications what's up can't install, Mada applications can't install, zoom can't install, Google and Gmail can't install

JARIR - NO WOMEN EMPLOYEES - BACKWARDS

This book store has no respect for women. All the employees are males who talk to women as if they are little-minded children. Look around Jarir bookstore and you will not see any women. Boycott this bookstore, there are many other bookstores that employ women. This Saudi owned company does not deserve the business of progressive Kuwait women and the expats that live in Kuwait.
