Really fantastic experience. The booking process was smooth and straightforward, the price was the best around, and the collection and delivery were done very promptly. It was great receiving a prior heads up for when the van was arriving and the team was friendly and took great care of all the stuff during the moving process. Especially appreciated the communication throughout. Any requests or questions were responded to right away and there were a few hiccups with payment that was dealt with super efficiently. Rute on the storage team was especially helpful and great. Would definitely use again.

We hired JamVans to collect, store, and redeliver our possessions as we were renovating a new house. The collection part was great and the guys were professional, polite, and took great care with our possessions. The team in the office were responsive, polite, and answered all of our questions.
Unfortunately, the redelivery a year later was a different story altogether. When the van arrived it contained only some of our possessions and I was informed that they had only one container on file for us (we had two). Panicked I called the office who also confirmed that they had one container on file but promised to look into it. The fact that a storage company can "lose" a container and not know what a client has in storage with them is incredibly concerning and that fact alone would make me never use them again. After a couple of hours they did locate the second container but told me that it was impossible to deliver it on the same day and it would have to be delivered the following day. When we complained to them that we didn't even have a bed for the night same day delivery was suddenly possible. Again, not sure this approach recommends them. When the second container arrived the delivery guys informed us that they would not be able to take a small (albeit heavy) sofa bed into an upstairs bedroom as the narrow staircase of our Victorian house meant they couldn't guarantee not damaging the walls. I reminded them that the same sofa bed had been moved out of a Victorian house previously with no issue. However, they refused unless I signed a waiver, therefore taking responsibility for any damage they may cause myself. Unsurprisingly, I did not give them permission to damage our newly renovated home so the sofa bed is now is the living room and I will have to pay a separate company to move it into its designated spot. When I spoke to the office, a difference of opinion was acknowledged but there was no attempt to improve our experience. They dumped everything and left. Lastly, it is worth noting that customers are asked to sign for their redelivery. However, nothing is checked against the inventory so you have no idea if anything is missing before you confirm that you have everything. I am sure some people are comfortable with this. I was not. We haven't checked everything yet so we don't know if anything went missing when they "lost" and then relocated the second container. I wish I didn't have to write this review as the people working for the company seem nice but I would personally want to know if a moving and storage company that I entrust with all of my possessions is competent. In this case I am afraid it is not.

Extremely happy with the service I’ve received from JamVans. Firstly Jake has been great and has handled the initial enquiry and the admin, answering all my questions and dealing with my requests. And then Jerome and Louise on the day of collection were very quick and professional. I’m very impressed and to top it all JamVans are very competitive on price. I found them to be much cheaper than over self storage solutions. Many many thanks.

I had a great experience with JamVans services, Jake was able to set up a pickup for me on short notice and I was able to smoothly arrange a storage drop of the next week. Josh and Rayan came to pick up my stuff, they were on time and professional and helpful, it was a really smooth experience.

Kane and Ryan came to deliver my goods. They were professional and on time! They didnt ask me to lift a finger they moved the HEAVY sofa all by themselves. If I needed a storage facility again I would definetly use Jamvans! Amazing service! And the co ordinator/Manager Jake was extremely helpful in arranging everything effectively. I dont usually get this kind of service! Thanks

Very efficient. Website made it easy to decide how much space i needed. Office were great at sorting out finer details. Then the pick up was smoothly done with an advance phone-call to say they were on their way. James, Alan and Alex were the ‘A’ team! Polite, friendly and quick! Well done guys and many thanks!

Owen T was incredibly helpful with all my queries and did his utmost best to coordinate for the best slot. Then we had Ryan, Alex B and Alan who helped us with removals and putting things into storage. We were in awe with how professional and efficient they were. Hopefully we will see them again when we receive delivery at our new place!!

James and Kray were super helpful, and super quick. They took the hassle out of moving and storing things. Super great service.

We recently had some work done on our house and so had to put most of our furniture and large possessions into storage. While the collection and booking process was good and straight forward it was in the returns where the issues lie.

When we got our items back one of the drawers from our TV unit was missing. We reported this the same day and as we had purchased insurance through Jam vans we thought this would be a quick resolution.

As they could not locate the drawer they agreed to pay us the cost to replace the unit, however getting them to agree on an amount and actually make the payment took over 6 weeks. During this 6 week period they were never once proactive with communications, I had to chase them every time. They rarely replied to emails unless I called to get a reply and often I could not get through to the right person on the phone as only one person was authorised to discuss my complaint.

To fix this they need to be more proactive and own it when they make mistakes, they also need to have more than one person to handle complaints.

Edit: My review was initially two stars, however shortly after posting this I got contacted by a director offering an apology and partial refund along with an explanation for the issues and how they are working to improve. The inital review above remains unaltered.

Jamvans are the best company i’ve ever dealt with in London so far. They offer competitive prices, handle clients with care, and pay a lot of attention to detail.

Kane and Ollie specifically did a very good job. They were friendly, very organised and handled my belongings and furniture with a lot of care.

Will definitely be using them again in future.

So these guys came and took away our flat. So far after 3 emails I have no literary or receipt. I have no idea if my stuff is safe at all. Very scary. At this point I wouldn’t use them

We accessed the storage area for the first time today, and it was a great experience! From the moment we arrived, the staffs attended to us right away and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The whole process was well organized, and their record-keeping is excellent, making everything smooth, efficient, and secure. Plus, when we checked our storage and the area, we were happy to see the area was neat and clean, showing their commitment to quality.

We’ve been using their service for a couple of years now, and both the pre-service and during-service experiences have been friendly, professional, and efficient. Whenever we have questions, there are no delays in their replies, whether it’s by phone or email; they respond promptly, which we really appreciate.

If you don’t need to access your storage frequently, JamVans is a fantastic option. The pricing is reasonable, and the service has been reliable since day one. It’s about a 45-minute drive from London, which is totally manageable, especially if you have a car. They also offer a collection service at a great price.
