Jackson lees have just ruined a Christmas for a young family by not doing their jobs properly and apparently preferring to party for Xmas than do their due diligence and checks on their clients. A relatively small chain of 4 is now in disarray 3 days before completion on top of Xmas when a lot of things had been changed over, deposits paid and address changes for some companies such as Sky for tv and broadband. So frustrating and so avoidable with little to no communication and will cost us a lot of money in the meantime not to mention possible collapse of chain and delayed move. Please choose conveyances carefully guys 🙏

We received awesome service with a difficult move with several tricky issues that Harry Barnett and Janet Jones both worked really hard to resolve for us. We found both of them to be extremely professional but also kind and understanding when we were struggling with the mountain of paperwork required. We used them to sell our individual houses and buy together. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Lesley and Gem, who were in charge of our case, were helpful and patient, explained all the legalities and terms that we were unfamiliar with, informed us of anything we needed to do, dates we needed to be aware of, and made sure that there was clear lines of communication with our estate agents as well as ourselves. Reception staff were always helpful and friendly and we found the whole process a lot easier than we anticipated. Thank you.

Janet Jones and John Jones handled my sale and purchase respectively and I was highly satisfied with the work that they did. The sale was a leasehold and the purchase a new build so neither transaction was straightforward, but at all times I felt they acted in my best interests and progressed both matters through to completion efficiently. It was reassuring to know that both matters were being handled by knowledgeable and experienced practitioners and I would use Jackson Lees again in the future.

contacted them told them time sensitive 3 years ran out in 6 weeks their para legal was useless did not contact me straight away then sent request for paperwork from doctors(i thought they did some work for their huge fee)when i asked what paperwork next day got a call from a secretary saying they did not want to take case due to short time left but send me a email saying case not strong enough contradiction in reason these sharks only want open and shut cases to maximise their profits avoid.having read that nonesense reply from jackson lees as long as you start the procedure within 3 years it is ok.so does not matter if after takes several months also they say in conclusion hope you find legal to represent you so rather a crock answer as i say avoid these chancers who want all up front so as to make eay payday

Community care "Concern"
Jackson lee was dealing on behalf my daughter community matters after the case handler left on the 14th August 23 that he had allocated to case to another case handler to deal on his departure nothing has been done excuses and delay's one after the other . They have let down daughter very badly left her upset and her anxiety level rise and the compliance manager seems to cover up not acting professionally refuses to deal with complaint I would be vary cautious to deal with this company and they state they do not have someone to deal in this area of "LAW" Very concerning taking matters very lightly !!

It would be very useful if I can have the department or person dealing with my daughter's concern I have requested SAR again this has not been followed and not taking considering the inconvenience this has taken on the young person . Concerning the rating there are some shocking reviews which I am not alone in with concerns you state you have provided a professional service please be made aware when the previously case handler left on August 23 we had to continually keep chasing update I suggest you check your emails to clarify our position delay's after delay's and today I am told there is no availability or resources I feel you need to be very honest and upfront with solution's and we felt ignored and left on one side !!! - With regards to your concern of where our client satisfaction star ratings come from, feedback is sought from all verified clients in-line with our independent review platform’s policies and the results are available both on our website and on the Feefo platform. It's difficult to put into words all the reasons why i would suggest buyers to stay away from jackson lees, i can only list a few issues we had but trust me its the tip of the iceberg for issues as well as the sheer amount of times things went wrong at the ends of jackson lees.
Where to start?!
God Awful communication! from start to finish and which improved within 2 weeks of our mortgage expiry 6 & half months into the sale process, And this only happened because we put in 3 complaints to the Home legal services who then cracked down on to our solicitor.
Our 'team' of solicitors made countless mistakes or errors throughout every step, when our head solicitor went on a number of holidays NO ONE picked up our file for days if not weeks during very stressful periods, where we thought we might lose the property or in situations we needed them to act fast.
Don't be fooled by the initial quote you receive for their legal fees at the very start, as ours raised by almost double by the time we had the keys in our hands. We were kept in the dark about search's, deeds and other costly things. Out of nowhere we unexpectedly got handed a massive bill. This made it seem a very cash grab situation and took up 90% of the money we had saved for months to furnish our new home.
I cant be bothered to type out every issue but i hope the above is enough to direct anyone away from Jackson lees, our mortgage broker has also told home legal services he will not direct anyone their way. If it were up to me i would put Rebecca under review for such a poor display of professionalism and the remaining 'team' who didn't help at any time.

When our offer on the purchase of the property was accepted, we never realised what an abominable service we would encounter with the seller’s solicitors on a property on probate. The seller’s solicitors had appointed a “remortgage specialist” to deal with the sale. This individual did not have a clue and the stubborn answer to our solicitors was “sold as seen” and to each question raised the answer was either “no”, “no knowledge” or the like. Obviously, this individual did not know anything about the sale of a property and had absolutely no interest in investigating, just taking the easiest option. While the draft contract stated “vacant possession” and we were advised that the house would be cleared, this was constantly contradicted by the “remortgage specialist”. Finally, to add insult to injury, when the property was finally cleared the clearers took the keys and fobs to the property. Again, the ‘specialist’ refused to engage and even denied the existence of keys which was contradicted by the estate agent. When we raised to Jackson Lees the appalling service, they did not consider or investigate. They very quickly replied without any investigation that the matter had been dealt properly, which was obviously not the case. The communication between the teams at Jackson Lees is non-existent. All in all, a dreadful experience for third parties to be aware of.

I worked with Lucy Joel of Jackson Lees to buy my first home. She has been absolutely professional at every step of the way. She explains everything clearly, gives frequent updates on the status/progress of the process and always answers her e-mails.
Everything was very smooth from the initial explanation of the process to exchange of contracts and completion. Lucy worked extra-hard to make sure that I got the keys on the agreed date and always kept me in loop. The purchase was completed quite quickly with no hassle. I cannot think of anything else she could have done differently, everything was done very efficiently.
I would recommend Lucy to my family and friends with ease.
