I was taken in by the add on Face Book. It was not until I had paid I realised i had been misled (scam is too strong a word at this point)! Waiting for my purchase to arrive but going by the reviews I might be waiting 2 weeks +! but I guess China is some way off from the UK. Still, some say the bags are ok if over priced, we shall see.
The bag I ordered took two weeks to arrive, but met my expectations and appears well made. Updates on the order tracking site were not clear.
Ordered bag stating dispatch in UK next day. Email received saying now two weeks. Emailed and used Contact Us to cancel - no response. Now unsure if this is a genuine hand made bag company in UK. Background research telling me no. Looks like money lost which is disappointing
Such a con. These are Chinese made and cheap. Available elsewhere at half the price. Customer service just stopped short of lying to my about the origin of the bags. No chance of a return as they issue a credit for something else from their store. Please avoid at all costs.
I purchased a waxed bag with leather attachments for approx £143 supposedly reduced from £543 it took quite some time to arrive . The bag was incredibly cheaply made something like you would find in a north African market so I would advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs it’s a scam well thought out but a scam

You're right that you waited too long for an answer to your emails, and we're sorry for that. We've now replied to you by email.
Your order had already been labelled for dispatch before your message reached us, and it is now with the carrier on its way to you, so your money is not lost. We've sent you the tracking link, and if the bag isn't right for you once it arrives, you can return it within 30 days of delivery and we'll help you with that.
We're a genuine small business, we make our bags ourselves, and every order goes out with tracking.

So ..... they've been in business for 29 years but only just open your website, Facebook account, storefront and Trust Trustpilot account in the last few weeks? ..... and they are an AI creation.
Can I just add how remarkable it is that this supposedly old family firm's bags are also available at Trendhim, Handsome Dan's, Cole & Harrison, Bella, Saint Door, Aussie Pacific blah blah blah
There is nothing that screams DODGY AS HELL quite like when you try to cloak your business in a a veil of barefaced lies.

I bought a canvas hiking backpack. Firstly, I think the product itself is pretty much as described and advertised: it's thick canvas with leather straps and plenty of pockets. Seems robust although the leather straps could be thicker. Generally I'm pleased and ultimately it's the product which is important.
I think the website and advertising are misleading however: I don't believe there really is or ever has been a kindly looking craftsman Jack Reid, handcrafting since 1997...
Still, when I got a bit panicky thinking I'd been scammed and nothing was going to turn up, they did email me and actually it did turn up on time so really it's all good. I hope the bag remains as robust as it feels.

You placed your order on 21 October and asked us to cancel it the same day. Your order was cancelled before it was sent, and your full payment went back to your card on 22 October. We confirmed this to you by email on 23 October.

Scam seller. Refuses to provide return details and unresponsive on refunds.
Bags and business claiming to be in the U.K. and aren’t handcrafted in UK but a China based scam seller.
I have requested return information daily for over a week and the seller fails to respond. In fact I raised the initial complaint in seeking a refund and order cancellation on 7th Oct. Unfortunately I can’t see me getting a refund.
Just take a look and see how many of the Trustpilot positive 4* and 5* reviews are from actual verified users…
These aren’t artisan crafted products but mass produced from China. Avoid!!
