Kosta was helpful and efficient and, most important of all, calm. I was way more emotional than I expected to be on leaving my home of over 30 years and Kosta didn't get my best face.

Having commented on the cost of the packaging I found all the costings had been sent to me beforehand. All my stuff went into storage and that was expertly packed into the unit. Thank you guys.

Izzy Removals were transparent, efficient and professional from beginning to end. We were moving three vans worth of stuff across the country, which lead to an almost 12 hour day for our team of movers. Despite this, the crew worked swiftly and diligently, aided by Kosta, the calming voice on the phone orchestrating the day and smoothing over any bumps in the road. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Great movers from the moment I enquired to the job being completed. Communication prior to the move was great, and Kosta did an exceptional job finding a team that could move us pretty last minute. The guys were polite, tidy and so quick. Carefully packing & dismantling everything and putting things back together in our new place. Kosta called during the job to make sure everything was okay, and on charged according to the quote for the work completed. Would highly recommend!

The whole move was very professional. The team of 4 led by Danny arrived in London at 9am as promised and worked hard all day, finishing after 4pm in Bath. The load included the heaviest sofa bed and another wooden double bed, both of which they had to dismantle and reassemble. They also carried 40 heavy boxes, and plenty of household stuff down two storeys and later up storey. Overall they were very polite and even charming under pressure. But what marks them out was their manager Kosta who is a sort of Charlie from Charlie's Angels. You never meet him but he talks to you from time to time on the phone slowly and with a reassuring calmness. It's very effective. I don't even know if the team are allowed to meet him.
I will book again.

Great lads put in a lot of effort to make my move efficient. Great communication throughout and careful, considerate approach that met my expectations.

All my things arrived in on piece even though they were definitely not expertly packed by me.

The guys were great, arrived on time / slightly early as promised. Moving us from a flat down 2 floors of stairs to a house, all the heavy lifting of sofa bed, bed, furniture and huge numbers of boxes. Nothing was broken and the men worked hard all day. We wouldn’t have been able to make the move without them. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a professional and competent crew to help you with a stress free move, use someone else.

Provided Kosta with a walk through video of all my things to be moved (including the loft), and he also sent two of his guys around to check our house and confirm the extent of our requirements. Quoted 2 vans, 4 guys, 2 days.

On moving day everyone arrived on time and started packing. So far so good. But the guys were very rude, refusing to speak to my girlfriend, directing their answers to me even when she asked.

When I told them the loft also needed to be packed they refused to go in, saying quote "we're scared". Eventually I moved the contents of the loft out to keep things moving. I complained to Kosta who informed me one of the guys had had an accident and now refused to go into lofts. I asked him why he sent people to move my loft who refused to enter lofts. No answer.

Some of the highlights of the packing included labelling the boxes with the contents of our kitchen diner (including cupboards, drawers etc) 'kitchen'. It took us 3 days to find our cutlery since we had ~50 boxes labelled the same. Plates appeared on the 4th day. Contents of a drawer went into 2 different boxes, and the drawer itself into a 3rd. Absolutely no system. Oh yes, and they packed my glasses too, so I couldn't see. When I asked where they were, the guy shrugged and pointed at a pile of ~40 boxes. Took me 2 days to find them after opening 40 boxes labelled 'kitchen'.

Kosta massively underestimated how many vans would be needed to move our stuff. So much so that on day 2 and only 3 hours before completion on the property sale, he told me that his team would need more time and we would have to delay. I had been very up front with him as to what time we needed to be out so this was naturally a shock that he expected the whole chain to delay. He told me it's very common that this happens. This implies either incompetence or inexperience as this is not how moving in the UK works; but clearly that's how his team works. He told me quote "it's very difficult to estimate how long these things take". It is literally his only job. And he sent his guys round to check. Enormous incompetence at all stages.

Due to the time compression as a result of insufficient vans and men, his guys attempted to dump the entire contents of the second trip in the new house garden. I was advised by his team that they would leave everything there quote "as it's more convenient". I literally had to fight every guy on every item to get him to put it in the house. Putting it in the right room was a pipe dream. At this stage I was also told that his guys would not be reassembling any furniture nor unpacking any boxes. Given this was something that was baked into the quote, it came as something of a shock. I had to fight them to make them assemble my daughers bed so she would have somewhere to sleep.

They broke my Big Green Egg ceramic bbq, but refused to accept they had. No idea who they thought had done it. They jiggery pokery got it back together, but since it was dark when they left so all I could do was check the lid went up and down (more on this later).

Literally 30 seconds after the last guy left the house Kosta called demanding payment. Naturally nothing had been checked but given the experience we had had over 2 days I just wanted him gone from my life. Unfortunately I paid.

I later discovered that my BGE had been damaged by his team. Kosta accepted his team broke it and attempted to fix it, but refused to accept they had damaged it in the process. This obviously makes no sense to any rational person. He then variously claimed (a) it was my fault it was damaged because I had not provided the original packing material, (b) London roads are bumpy so it wasn't his fault it got damaged in transit, (c) it's an awkward item to move so it's not his fault he didn't have appropriate packing materials, (d) someone not from his team hit it and damaged it. He suggested I make a claim on my insurance for the damage, but he would not be paying for it. Finally he rolled out that it was outside a 14 day period in a contract I had never seen nor signed for insurance claims. He did offer to pay £50 for repair, but this is a total red herring since (a) no one repairs ceramic bbqs (b) even if they did, which they don't, I've no way of moving it due to the weight. It is literally the single most expensive item I own.

It utterly baffles me how anyone can accept his team broke something then attempted to fix it, but does not accept they damaged it.

Do not use these guys. They have never moved us before and never will again.

Very pleased with the removal. Kosta was professional making the arrangements and transparent with costs. Removal van arrived on time. Packed all items logically in a compact arrangement. Very considerate when lifting bulky items through narrow spaces. The move was from London to York. They arrived in due course and swiftly unpacked the van. Overall, an excellent, professional service.

We moved from South West London to Kent and the service we got from Kosta and his team was amazing. Kosta was great at staying in touch and finding out exactly how much we had and giving all costs upfront so we had no nasty surprises. Because we were moving so far out of London there was an addition hour charged for travel which I think was very fair. It was a very stressful and emotional day but the team were so kind and helpful and quick at packing everything up with zero breakages. When we got to the new house there was some trouble getting the bed up the stairs as it was so big, but the team took it apart and put it all back together. I honestly thought we might need to sleep on a mattress on the floor and get a new bed, but the team were amazing and refused to let the bed beat them. I cannot recommend these guys enough. They were so hard working and courteous. Thank you for making a stressful day less so for us.

The team were very quick and efficient once they arrived. I had to move the contents of a 25 square foot storage unit into another facility across town - from arrival to end the job took less than two hours. Kosta was very easy to deal with and the pair who helped me were polite and effective.

Avoid this company - their removal guys are extremely slow, constantly on the phone or chatting and trying to extend the removal time to the max just to rip you off. Also completely careless with your belongings, messy and without even the most basic manners (e.g. used my bathroom with the door open and without even asking permission). When I raised a complaint with them I got completely ignored. Definitely DO NOT recommend.
