Utter rubbish, never resumes properly and handback from commercials to streamed content invariably causes app to freeze and need to start again.
ITV, please get this sorted once and for all as it's unusable at present.

Shockingly bad. Have to watch through loads of ads to then return to the wrong place or 'something went wrong'!!! The only thing I seem to see with any success is the adverts! How about starting a programme with no ads so you know you have the right place/programme?? I know you can pay fir ad free, but it's so random your uf going to get to warch, I wouldn't dream if it.

ITVX app is awful! It buffers constantly and you can never watch a program without something going wrong. Channel 5, bbc channel 4 every other channels app is better than this. It’s the worst app I have ever downloaded. Sort it out ITVX!!!!! I had to give one star to write this review but it deserves 000.

Glad l checked the reviews. Thought I had problems with my internet. ITV hub was shocking but ITVX is worse. It froze 3 times on one programme and went back to the beginning. A complete shambles. What are you doing about it ITV? Sort it😡

What has happened to ITVX ? It’s now showing random advertisements after its main sequence of advertisements before a program starts just like live TV but now they are pop up style making the app unusable!!
Seriously ITV stop messing around with am already poor service

ITV X performs so poorly not only compared to every other streaming platform but also compared to the ITV HUB we used to have. Can anybody in authority explain? Does anyone at ITV care?

ITVX is unwatchable, it stops after only a few minutes, even restarts my television so then loses where it had played up to. The difference between iPlayer and ITVX is enormous.

itvx is awful 1. It constantly stops to tell you mobile data is being used. you have to press on to continue watching. It is barely watchable. 2. it does not have ability to go into small screen so you can do other things while using it on phone or ipad. So very frustrating. I won’t be renewing unless these change.

Cancelled my subscription despite me logging on and following instructions.

ITV X is the worst streaming service I have had the misfortune of watching. Whilst the programs are OK the number of advertisements is unbearable. It is unwatchable and I will never watch anything on there again.

Awful, constant buffering and almost unwatchable. I never had issues with the ITV Hub, but ITVX is driving me mad! Terrible choice ITV, please sort it out and bring back the Hub!

Whoever put the ITVX app together it must be a first attempt, well they have completely Failed!
I only joined because Britbox mistakenly moved to these morons.

If I could give it zero stars I would. ‘Freshest’ streaming service really! It’s the worst streaming platform ever. It’s slow, just trying to get onto the program you want is painful. It buffers (I have sufficient broadband) why would anyone want to pay for this service. Get your act together ITV!

This company doesn’t want to improve, they don’t give a s..t. Their premium service to get of ads is bordering on criminal. They have a section on films more than half of which have a caption ‘due to licensing restrictions’ meaning they show adverts. Absolutely disgraceful. If any one ran a company and treated customers with the contempt they do, they would be out of business within weeks.!

itvX app on Apple TV is badly broken.
I have a premium account, carried-over from Britbox, and must now use the itvX app on Apple TV. The app is utterly dysfunctional; much of the time it's like radio (audio only) with a mix of still pictures, blank screens and some video clips. I have a solidly-reliable 1-Gbit/s broadband connection. This is by far the worst streaming app I have ever used, and I have Amazon, Apple TV+, BBC iPlayer, Disney, and Netflix.

The app is very poorly designed and can’t cope with buffering issues. Other streaming apps are much much better.

Absolutely rubbish, watching something it goes to adverts then the episode restarts from the beginning. Such a shame because there is some good stuff on there. I definitely wouldn't pay the subscription

What has happened to ITV
We recently registered to ITVx and watch some programmes on our smart tv.... what a mistake!
We fast forward the ads and after 5mins the screen goes blank... this happens after ad break!
Thank heavens we have a 100% reliable netflix to fall back on.
Netflix is now replacing our tv viewing with the exception of GBNews

Terrible app!! Pay for no ads but everything still has ads in. The app is so slow and unresponsive!

Can’t stop watching a series as it does not pick up where you stopped watching!
