Scammers. Just got a subscription intent of 5K on Paypal from them months after an order which was another scam… Don’t forget to cancel authorization on Paypal to avoid the situation I m in today… THIS IS A REAL REVIEW 🤬

This company is a complete fraud! I engaged their services circa, January 2024 and clearly specified that I was not willing to pay an hourly rate. The freelancer I hired, Nina Nim...., agreed to a set price for designing a website. Despite my explicit instructions, I began receiving emails with hourly rates. I reached out to Nina immediately. Nina said that it's how the company tracks her hours "don't worry" she blamed the company for the confusion. I initiated a dispute with ITHIRE and I received an email explaining that I had a certain amount of days to file a dispute. I explained to ITHIRE that I did just that directly with my freelancer Nina Chim..and she assured me that I was not being billed hourly and it was only tracking her hours. ITHIRE then told me that I was able to dispute only the last week of charges ignoring my email negotiations directly with my freelancer Nina Chim.... Well guess what? They automatically deducted money from my bank during "my dispute time" and now tell me that "I have no disputes opened" I have not received any response from ITHIRE and Upon checking the dispute tab, it falsely claims that I never even started a dispute. This company is a scam! I have a solid history of working with UPWORKS and now regret not sticking with them. Avoid this company at all costs - Lastly, I did not see anywhere on their site that they offer for freelancers to work on projects for a flat fee as other platforms do. This left me in a terrible position as I was launching my company. CON ARTIST!

I came into contact with a freelancer through upwork and they wanted me to move over to ITHire. I almost went ahead with a contract but luckily I was warned by other reviews here and comments on other websites. After some more research I found out that the freelancer actually has two profiles on there... One they gave me last year (but was now changed to another name) and another one this year. Too suspicious!

Echoing the sentiments of numerous reviews that have already flagged IT Hire as a scam, I deeply regret not reading these reviews prior to engaging with the platform. My ordeal began when a freelancer from Upwork, named Julia, solicited me to migrate our project communication and execution to IT Hire, promising better rates and implying a more streamlined workflow. This initial red flag—paired with her sudden deletion of her Upwork profile upon project commencement—should have been my cue to exercise caution.

The ensuing experience was nothing short of disastrous. The quality of work delivered by Julia was appalling, blatantly underscoring her lack of the professed skills. It was a clear misrepresentation, exacerbated by her attempts to levy charges for incomplete and unapproved work. Although I managed to halt the project and negate these charges promptly, the ordeal took a darker turn when IT Hire attempted to extract an unauthorised charge of $690 from my bank account. This act of fraud was thankfully flagged by the vigilance of my bank's notification system.

This experience serves as a stark warning to all potential IT Hire users: the platform is embroiled in deceptive practices that could result in unauthorised financial transactions and subpar service delivery. Do not be deceived by the promise of professionalism or the allure of competitive pricing. IT Hire's operations are marred by unethical behaviour and scam activities. Exercise utmost caution and consider this a red flag against engaging with them. Please avoid it!!!

ITHIRE.COM is an absolute nightmare. Their freelancers are untrustworthy and unreliable. I engaged one freelancer named Lars (likely a pseudonym), who not only failed to complete half of the project but also overcharged me significantly beyond the initial estimate. The work delivered was utterly useless, and I had no choice but to discard it. However, the worst part came later: out of the blue, they charged my credit card hundreds of dollars without authorization. I’m currently struggling to recover the stolen funds.

Like so many others, I didn't order anything but had interactions with a designer. A couple of months later US$900 was stolen from my PayPal account. ITHIRE attempted to make it a weekly deduction however, luckily I saw this and cancelled it. I emailed the site on numerous occasions about what happened with no response. Can not be contacted. THIS SITE IS A SCAM. STAY AWAY
****Since posting this review, the company has now contacted me and refunded the amount it withdrew from my account without authorisation which I greatly appreciate. It does not excuse their actions and the time, stress and cost to get the money back that was stolen.

They pretend they work on a new website, copy content of the current one, make a video without sending physicial files and then continue charging your card without being able to cancel the project.

The worst experience.

This platform charged me twice out of no where for work that was not done for me - both of these were 4 figure charges that put a lot of difficulty on my finances. the customer support did not really apologize nor did they respond to my demands to permanently delete my details.

We did some work back in Ocotober 2023 that ended then and the project was closed.

The company then reactivated payments on the night of 24/Dec/2023 (yes, just before Christmas) and charged us $3300 on 25/Dec/2023 with no reason, as there was no more work done.

This looks like a very intentional scam and we were lucky to spot this on PayPal and hopefully, they will cancel this transaction.

Edit:
After we contacted PayPal and IThire, the latter promptly responded and refunded the money. This locked the funds for 2 weeks. However, the whole situation regarding timing is at least "unfortunate". Also, it is crucial, that when a company has the capability to charge your account as they wish, no mistakes are made. For some smaller businesses reducing their funds by so much could affect their operations! We will not use IThire in the future and we cannot recommend this service.
Initially, it was 1 star, I made it 2 stars because they responded quickly to the issue.
