Bad customer service, unclarified charges


I have been renting with Invygo for several years and have consistently paid all my dues on time including subscriptions, traffic fines, Salik, and even minor damages. I was very excited about this company but the experience turned out to be a nightmare.

The first major issue occurred when I had a flat tyre. I contacted roadside assistance through Invygo and was told help would arrive within 2 hours. In reality, it took over 6 hours (taking into consideration I needed car for work). The mechanic replaced the tyre with a spare and took the rim away without my consent. Then they send me a quotation for a new tyre which I didn’t ask for. Upon requesting to return a rim so that I could arrange a tyre myself the customer service representative was VERY rude to a point where I had to have my male friend involved to be able to try to talk to him. The customer service person was very aggressive and dismissive, shouting at me not letting me speak a word. Long story short, it took DAYS for them to return a rim and when I requested to refund the days I couldn’t use the car, they just ignored it. Btw the customer service representative was actually lying because some of the communication was in writing and he was stating opposite of what was in the written communication.

I have also noticed concerns regarding how fines and additional charges are handled. Over time, unexpected add-ons began appearing more frequently without clear individual explanation. Instead, bulk lists of fines are sent, which raises transparency and privacy concerns. Yet, I still paid every each of them, no questions asked.

More recently, I was charged a significant amount for extra mileage. One of the related documents was missing from my email, so I requested clarification. It took time to receive a response, but the very next day after clarification, and after I replied I received a legal warning email threatening escalation and additional charges that I don’t even think are legal. This felt unnecessarily aggressive, especially considering I was actively trying to resolve the issue.

I also explained my current circumstances (being temporarily stuck outside the country and losing my job), and requested some flexibility. Despite being a long-term customer, no support or compromise was offered.

The email I received even suggested that I should no longer use Invygo which reflects poorly on how they treat loyal customers.

So the moral of the story is that when they don’t need anything from you you’re ok, when you need something from them - they don’t care, when they need something from you - they will pressure, insult and threat.

I am genuinely upset to write this because I believed this company was great. Unfortunately, my experience shows a lack of willingness to resolve issues or maintain long-term customer relationships.

Scheduled service issues

If you don't need anything from them they are ok.
When you do a service or have issues then the "fun" starts.
Tje replacemt vehicle is always a crappy one.
The time that thei say it will take for service is always at least 50 times longer.
I am not happy with them
And forgot, the pricere are quite inflated.
Waiting days for a 2 hour service is not a nice experience when you have things scheduled and can't make it because the replacemeny is a car that can be driven only short distances.

Extremely poor customer experience…

Extremely poor customer experience especially with payments and fine related matters, i have been trying to reach out to customer support for over a month now regarding an already cleared fine to be surprised that they deducted it from my account after many emails and still no resolution

Stranded abroad due to war - Invygo have been heartless

Stranded abroad due to war-related flight cancellations. Contacted Invygo to arrange a two-week extension. Six follow-up emails. No response from any named person.

At the same time: automated repossession threats via no-reply email and WhatsApp, citing non-payment — for a bill I have been actively trying to pay. They basically want to take my money for a full month & then for me to have to play process gymnastics to arrange a refund (which, given how unresponsive they are will never be processed), instead of just arranging a two-week extension & sending me a payment link for that.

Budget Car Rental confirmed the two week extension can only be processed through Invygo. Invygo won't respond. I have escalated to their legal team & CEO, still no response just yet.

Summary: this is not a company that looks after its customers when it matters. I have full documentation of every interaction and have now issued a formal complaint. Regulatory complaints to follow if unresolved.

It is supposed to be a smart, effortless car subscription service, but dealing with Invygo is admin heavy which is just not sustainable for a busy professional. Not fit for purpose

Fraud

Dear Invygo Support Team,

I am writing to formally address the ongoing issue regarding the vehicle provided through your platform. Despite making multiple phone calls and several follow-ups with your representatives, I have not received any clear or reasonable response regarding the status of my contract and the collection of the vehicle.

Your authorized partner contacted me stating that they received instructions for force collection of the vehicle. However, when I requested written confirmation regarding the vehicle handover or collection process, no one has been willing to provide any official written communication. This situation has created significant confusion as I am unable to determine under which contract or authority the vehicle is being collected.

Currently, the vehicle remains parked at a hotel parking facility because your team has locked or stopped the car from operating. As a result, I am unable to move the vehicle and I am incurring additional daily parking charges due to this situation.

Please note that I have already raised a formal complaint regarding this matter with the Ministry of Economy due to the lack of proper response and communication from your side.

Since the vehicle has been locked and immobilized by your system, I hereby clearly state that any parking fees, fines, penalties, extra kilometer charges, or any other charges arising after the date the vehicle was locked will be the full responsibility of Invygo and your authorized partner WTI. I cannot be held responsible for costs generated due to your internal actions and failure to provide written instructions for vehicle collection.

Therefore, I request the following immediately:

Written confirmation from Invygo regarding the vehicle collection process.

Clarification of the exact contract under which this vehicle was issued to me.

Official confirmation of the date and time your team will collect the vehicle.

Written acknowledgment that any charges after the vehicle lock date will be borne by Invygo and WTI.

Until I receive proper written instructions from Invygo, I will not proceed with any vehicle handover to any third party.

Kindly treat this matter as urgent and respond in writing at the earliest.

AVOID

Appalling service. Not one to write this kind of review but my own mistake was not reading the reviews on this company before committing to a 1-month rental, and clearly there have been no improvements as a result. Car returned early at my own expense as a result of disgust at my treatment.

** Collected car from third party location since no reply to my request for delivery
** Waited over an hour for collection at third party rental company Drivus and when finally driven to car location 15 minutes away, car was still being cleaned.
** Rushed cleaning meant delivery taken of car in poor condition both from a cleanliness perspective inside and out, and covered in considerable damage. Most of this damage only became fully apparent after my first proper wash of the car. Delivery delay meant I did not have enough time to reject the car.
** After a number of days driving a tyre warning light appeared on the dashboard. When initially in touch with the service centre I was told “it’s nothing to worry about. There are always warning lights”. Despite this I attempted to arrange for it to be resolved via the app and after having to chase for a response I was offered a time slot several days later of 0359-0659 which did not suit my late work pattern. After trying to rearrange suffered the exact same delay in response so took the car to the garage myself to find all tyres were vastly under-inflated constituting a serious safety issue. I was eventually offered a second time slot in the same window several days later which I cancelled and submitted a complaint about.
** After submitting the complaint I got a call to give feedback and I explained my disappointment to which I was told someone would call to discuss this further with me. To date I am still waiting for that call.

Terrible Experience… Again and again….

I have made several bookings with them over the past few months, facing issues with most of the bookings but always gave them the benefit of the doubt. No more.

Previous incidents ranged from delivering a broken car (which they have replaced the same day - it should not have been delivered broken in the first place) to their call centre agents misleading their customers. For the latter, instead of taking a customer oriented approach and genuinely trying to solve the issue, they dragged the case on, eventually accepting their fault due to miscommunication at their end.

Same thing this time. They have communicated that payment for the monthly rental I have would be taken out on 28 Feb and, instead, they took it out on the morning of 27 Feb, causing major issues in my personal finances. They tried to explain that they always take a payment 24hrs in advance, which is in direct contradiction of their whatsapp communication advising payment would be taken out on 28 Feb.

After several calls with what is effectively a useless call centre, awaiting for someone in charge to call back, I have decided to pay them a visit in their main office. (In the morning, I received a call back which consisted of a quick call and hang up lasting less than a second followed by a box ticking mail saying they have tried to contact me).

Despite the genuine efforts of the customer service manager there and somewhat genuine efforts of her colleague from Finance remotely, they could not come up with an acceptable solution for my specific situation which they themselves have caused.

Bottom line - they have lied (miscommunication which was supposedly taken into account in my previous dealings over Christmas holidays where they accepted their inaccurate communication) and they have stolen (taking money earlier than what they have communicated - money that does not belong to them on 27 Feb).

They have offered 2 days of credit as a gesture of goodwill which I have declined. I am not after free credits or give aways. I only want to be treated with dignity and respect as a customer.

Consequently, not only have they lost me and potentially my company as long term customers, I have already raised a case with the DE in line with my consumer rights and will be looking into further legal action.

I will not recommend this company moving forward.

"Very bad experience. I don’t recommend them, as they deducted a full month from my card even though I informed them I would not be renewing. They did not return my money, and they keep sending fines that must be paid without providing any official documentation from the authorities."

Seamless Experience

Awful experience

Awful experience — I do not recommend this company. I rented a car on a 1-month fixed contract, and the day before returning it, they withdrew money from my account for the next month without authorization. That is illegal!

Unethical treatment

Unethical treatment. We booked our car for 7 days, but they force you to return the car on the 6th day, or they will renew for another 7 days.
Spoke to their support agents, and was shocked to see they simply do not understand that we paid for 1 week (24 x 7) subscription, and they insist on charging us another week renewal unless we returned the car on the 6th day.

Incredible inconsiderate company

Incredible inconsiderate company. Do not do it. They cancelled a 9 month contract early and hide behind the car dealer as a reason. We still do not know the reason. No compensation or even a solution(we just wanted the same type, same rate) They told us to swap the car online for a more expensive one and pay an early cancellation fee of 1200 SAR!!! While they are cancelling early. Hours of useless chat communication without any consideration or accountability of there mistake. It is time the Saudi consumer law authorities follow up with them
