site has been down two weekends in a row and not way to contact anyone until Monday

I am back again..wrote to customer service and not even an acknowledgment, to recap they took money from my debit card on a monthly basis since at least April 2022, I did not subscribe. I am sorely tempted to contact anti fraud services in the US, this company is making fools of clients who only and clearly make one inquiry.

Want my information deleted from your website. Still shows up on your website and in search engines. Want the website owner to get in touch with me and help get it removed. The automated customer service replies are useless. They will not remove my info.

Account access has been blocked and we are unable to get a hold of anyone. We’ve been unable to log in for days for an unknown reason and tried to reach out to customer support via phone and email. No response although we’re told to call. We paid for a monthly subscription and now are unable to use it. We are a licensed investigator and wanted to use the platform as an additional research method.

We can’t recommend using the platform due to the non existing customer service.

It was a scam they said they had info I paid and there was no info..it is a scam.

These people have a man listen as a sex offender at our address. He does not reside here. Despite many emails, at one point they said they'd take him off but never did. When I finally called and pretty angry because they're liars they told me nothing they could do to call the police department which I understand and informed them. The lied to me, and gave me the run around. My family is in danger.

I used their service mostly to see how much of a scam it could be. Paid up, waited for the results... got the results, they were identical to the free (and inaccurate) info you can find out there on other sites. Then waited to see how long it would take for the unique email address I used only with them to receive spam. 4 months as it turns out, yesterday the spams started pouring into that address. It's not enough that they charge you for info you can find for free yourself, they also profit from selling your info to spammers.

I reviewed my data and that of a close friend, a great deal of information was either grossly incorrect or missing in its entirety. This was not a good value for any amount of money.

I originally wanted to try this service out for a few days and went ahead and subscribed for a month, in spite of the excessive monthly charge. ICM advertises "unlimited" reports included with your paid subscription. To determine whether it would be worthwhile, I accessed several dozen reports so that I could get a reasonable sample size and gauge the worthiness/accuracy of the information.

After viewing several reports, I was cut off from the service with no communication from ICM. When I contacted support, I got a generic response indicating that my account had been suspended for "suspicious" activity, in spite of the fact that I violated NONE of their terms of use. I am not a business and every report I accessed was for someone known to me personally - no credit screenings, employment screenings, or anything of the sort.

As far as content is concerned, I found some useful information but a multitude of inaccuracies as well. For the prices charged, I would expect more comprehensive and reliable information. But it is really the lack of customer service and inappropriate suspension of my account with no communication or legitimate reason that earns the black mark for ICM, and the "suspicious" activity was, in fact, on their end and not mine. I do not recommend this service whatsoever, and I am curious as to whether other users have encountered similar issues.

Instant Checkmate: is supposed to be a public information service. I was looking to confirm my military service records. There’s search sales Info very clearly says they can get your military service records. Then just before I bought and paid for their report they said (AGAIN) they had military records on me. That was a lie, the report had no military records at all, nothing!!!!! Plus the when you first try to access the report once you have paid, they make you verify your email. When you verify your email they say thank you and charge you another $3.99 but they never tell you they’re going to charge you that by verifying your email so they just stole $3.99 from you! They try and come off as some big friendly tech business but they’re just a bunch of scammers just another Internet let me steal your money scam! The entire process was a complete waste.

I don't recommend them as their website isn't working and too many payments went through Paypal.

I requested all payments refund just to prevent disputing those through Paypal.

Thankfully all refunds were issued next day. 5 star isn't based on their website but rather on their honesty to understand my reasoning

Just another internet telephone directory scam. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. They say the service is free, but they take you through a number of windows over a about 5 minutes, and then you must sign up with credit card in order to get the relevant information.

I lost access to my account after I paid my membership.

Easy, intuitive and great value. Have been using this service for nearly 2 years now. It has become an invaluable tool, helping to follow up with delinquent accounts. Much more success than using a collection agency.

I wish I could have found the phone # or the right address to my son, I did find many others and it was nice, miss my son so much..this was very much worth the price thank u checkmate..

It amazes me the detail of information that is given on my searches, plus there is minimal wait time for your search results.

Changing passwords is boring, and time consuming. ThenI use my computer late..little time in day,
I am asked to contact CSR...can't late at night.

Suggestion: develop a more practical P/W system..like 2-3 questions that I would only know..

other than that, 1 other thing when u chg your format and ask for added $..not good...
