I did a review to check on my past. There are too much incorrect data. Product claims I lived in states I have not even visited. BK's are in public records, but they are not in my records.

Wanted to research my own parents wedding date.
Wanted to research my own parents wedding date and found nothing. The individual reports didn't show myself or little sister as their children; only our 2 brothers and a daughter-in-law! We only all lived together for over 10+ years. Another search for a childhood friend was useless even with a name and age. No way to narrow down the search with a street, city or school. The city only worked on some searches. I think this business is more suited toward crime reports. Ebony in customer service was friendly and efficient when it came to canceling.

Money grab
The report had no information on it.
I did not purchase 1 month, I purchased a 1 month subscription that I have to cancel. Wait time is 5 minutes on the phone.

An excellent resource
Instant Chocolate is an excellent resource. I have been doing research on athletes in my high school from 1943-2022 for a book. It has been much more dependable than the other "people finder" sites. This has helped me track down some and I have mostly been able to contact them for interviews. (always a challenge to get retired NFL guys, however.). But that's not the fault of Checkmate. Thanks so much!

Overcharged report had no information worst 5 minute membership ever
I was charged over $45 for a search my email said was only $3.99. I only did 1 search on the site only for it to have no information. I instantly canceled membership and only then did it say that they don't refund last month of service and I thought how professional to provide a report with no information on it and then charge me well over $40 more then what I agreed to. This is a lot of money for not even 5 minutes of membership and a junk report I wish I had read reviews for this sight first.

Save your money use another service
The absolute worst service of this type there is. I’ve paid less and gotten more information from other websites before! I searched people that I knew and there was incorrect information as well as information missing, information that can be found for free on google mind you! I don’t know how they are even still in business!
