I subscribed to get an IP phone trace...none was facillitated...I messaged customer service not a single reply...not only a waste of money but more importantly this company is a waste of your valuable time...member ID number 195699784. Please issue me a refund...

I have been using instant Checkmate for many years and have had a LOT of success locating people and reviewing their criminal history (if any) and bankruptcies, evictions, etc. There have been a few occasions I have not been successful at retrieving information, but considering overall the accuracy of the data, I would definitely recommend.

If you're looking because they advertised criminal history and said they had some on someone before you bought it. IT'S A LIE!! Anyway, I was heated about that because that was the purpose for getting it. The people I know that are HORRIBLE criminals with a LONG criminal history, didn't have that history on here. Most had nothing, very few only had traffic violations. I did find domestic battery on one person I did not expect but again, if you know someone with domestic battery on their record it is more than likely not on here. None of the other people I knew has long lists of domestic... and other criminal activity had nothing on here. Also, the dates on this may be off regarding living situation. Not wildly for the starting to live somewhere but they're way off when people moved out. It's also probably missing things regarding your living history. Most of the sections it claims to have research in when you get the app have absolutely nothing on any profile. The most you will get are a few social media sites, a few locations they lived at, and maybe some family members. If you are looking for anything else that they advertise, it is not on here. They also tend to have several mixed up reports on the same person or someone's name spelled wrong. NGL I did have fun on here when I got bored but it's really nothing useful. DO NOT GET IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CRIMINAL HISTORY. The caps is so you can quickly see the major points of the message or emphasis on something. If this is off it's because I haven't slept.

The fee for this service is hidden until the very end. They make it appear it is taking a lot of time to create the report (misleading) and then charge you an additional fee if you want to download the report. The quality of the data provided was marginal and the service could not find a lot of the people I was trying to look up. I recommend to use some other background service.

Instant checkmate. Did not provide ANY INFO AT ALL. WILL NOT REFUND. DON’T USE. Do not even read my emails, do not use. Did not help me find my daughter! Waste of money. Do not use. They will NOT REFUND.

Scam site that wastes a bunch of time and then asks you for payment of you wish to see what you wasted your time on. Are they accurate, who knows.

This site is user friendly, very detailed and always a reliable way to investigate new potential tenants, clients and business acquaintances. I really appreciate everything Instant Checkmate offers. I even was able to locate a long lost cousin, who I hadn't seen since we were toddlers!

Very little information, confusing, not accurate.

Instant Checkmate data is erroneous, absent, incorrect and misrepresented. Their incompetence has created a substandard product which will waste valuable time.
In addition, they do not provide a feedback process to correct the data; they do however, allow you to "hide" the inaccurate data from your view.

The interesting: when you cancel their subscriptions, they will offer as much as 60% off the service price. Even Instant CheckMate considers a concession in the value of what they offer to continue to take your money.

IMHO, Instant CheckMate fits my pure definition of scam (Think: AS Seen on TV for Data)

"Who Are They Messaging? | Just Type in a Phone Number" That's their add hype on the internet, as you might guess total BS, I am a paying user , the y charge approximately 40 dollars a month for people searches only, another almost 7 dollars for phone searches and only give you "POSSIBLE OWNERS", addresses the possible owner has lived. There is NOTHING to do with who they are texting or anything else they are doing on the phone. Even if you cancel your subscription immediately, NO Refund, so if a 100 fools like me subscribe every hour they make $4000 and hour and you get nothing you couldn't have gotten for free from internet searches.

It's another one of those sites that strings you along, for probably 10 or 15 minutes, and then at the end of it asks you to pay (a lot of money) for a report. No indication that the report will contain anything of value, not even a sample of the kind of information contained within it.

Total scam and a complete waste of time for literally everyone involved.
The site stalls as i assume it tries to check every last detail it can dig up off your system about you. It implies and tricks you into believing it will provide you with any amount of information regarding a scammer who called me pretending to be with the government (extremely illegal obv).

At the very end after waiting for timer after timer for no reason but to stall, at the very very very last step as its saying its about to provide you with a background check, it then immediately pops a window to pay them for the info because they literally wont give you a single hint of information without you letting them bend you over first. Im quite certain they dont even actually have any info at all. They only have a name thats probably fake, and email that could be real, and at least 1 phone number that does work but the caller claimed to be someone with a diff name.

God what a mess, what a waste of time.

The information is old and outdated by many years so it is not updated very often...I ran a check on myself ..a joke.. information was out dated, incorrect

The information Instant Checkmate provided about me and my ex-husband was completely wrong and information was left out like his criminal record. Very disappointed.

About half of the information about me is correct. None of the e-mail addresses are right. Almost all the addresses were recognizable, except 3. Business addresses were listed as "residential". Associates connections are mysterious.

I use the site for background checking on others (potential construction contractors), so I need accurate information.

I did a report on myself. It said I had accounts that I dont even know what they are. It's suppose to be a free report then before it will show you they want you to pay

everything is an upsale.....and of course they do not disclose the pricing structure before paying And, low and behold, the format and report is identical to two other site.... so they are all they same....

I like that it does have valid information, I don't like that they don't differentiate between say a father and son for example have the same person name different middle initial.. they don't update anywhere near enough and the email reports aren't telling me anything.. it's a site but definitely need to remember to leave room for variances..
